Great food and great service. They were not very busy when we got there all food came quickly fresh and hot. will definitely come back to you again. Waitress was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome

The locals were raving about this place, had to give it a try. Found one of the best BBQ pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had! Totally unexpected given the classy decor and Sinatra playing softly in the background. Ticket was under $10 for meal and drink, perfect amount of food for lunch, not too much not too little. The space is small but that adds to the vibe and they've made the most of it. I'll be back!

Easy to pass by, but don't. Very cozy inside, if alittle dated. The food though... Honestly the best ribeye sandwich I've ever had!

We were just passing through and happened to call.. Absolute awesome. The hostess Alison was simply amazing. Our waitress Lindsey was also great. They were very personable and we called and they gave us a reservation for 10 minutes later. The food is amazing and their desserts are to die for. When we pass through again my family will surely stop and eat here again.

Food was fantastic but the service was even better! The waitress & manager/owner treated us so well, had a nice homey feel. We absolutely loved the tuna & salmon, and the Alfredo was some of the best we ever had.
Perfect place to stop on our long road trip!

Stopped off for supper on way to concert in St. Louis. Picked a place off the beaten path and the fast food we would usually grab. Pleasantly surprised!! The place was quaint and cozy; and the staff were nice to the locals as well as the visitors. The menu selection was superb and would rival any options from bigger cities and the prices were affordable for a nice evening out. Plan to come back and will recommend to all my friends and family!!

Quaint, clean atmosphere. The food- AMAZING! The complimentary flower pot bread is delicious. Our waitress was very well put together and knowledgeable of the menu. I would give more stars if I could!

I Always endeavor to eat in a local restaurant, for both culinary and economic reasons, they need all the support they can get to compete with mass produced mediocre food.
This is a charming place, with sweet and attentive service. The Caesar Salad was fresh and tasty with a very fine home-made dressing. A tuna steak was cooked rare as requested and was terrific.
If your travel takes you here, make the side trip worth it and eat here. I cannot comment on the rest of the menu, but my meal set a pretty high standard.

One of our favorite places in Vandalia. Always get great Prime rib and there flower pot bread with honey butter is awesome. We love the small quaint atmosphere and super friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The Grille has great food all around. You can’t really go wrong, and the owner is very friendly and willing to accommodate for any occasion. I recommend making reservations in the evening. Good wine & beer collection. Service is always friendly and their flower pot bread is a cute staple!

All the food was cooked to perfection. No complaints. The staff, including the owner, were awesome. Coworker and I was just travelling through and found it on Google. We'll definitely be back on our next trip this way. Thank you girls.

In from out of town, and stopped here for dinner. Nice atmosphere, friendly helpful waitress. Tasty food. There were 4 of us, we all got something different, and it was all good. Steaks, pasta, pork, and chicken. Recommended.

Quiet. On the main drag. Sarah and owner were very friendly and accommodating. Menu selections were substantial. Good was delicious. They offer alcohol, too. Reasonably priced. With going to.

On a business trip headed home to Rogersville MO from Indianapolis. Got off the interstate for a “break”. Decided we were hungry so found this place on Google. I had the Long Boat Shrimp with the medium spicy Sriracha sauce. It was spicy but fantastic. I will be back next time I come that way.

Had the chicken wrap and a cup of the potato soup, both were delicious! Only downside was that I wasn't expecting the wrap to be spicy, so it took me by surprise and took my breath away for a moment (it doesn't take much spice to do that to me). But I finished every bite! I'll be back again for it!

My mother and I were driving home and stopped in this small town. We didnt want fast food. We had asked someone where to eat. They suggested Gallatin's Grille with the green awning. It was small, quaint and very good food. It felt fancy but was casual at the same time. Flower pot homemade bread served warm with homemade honey butter. I hope someday I have reason to return.

Wonderful meal and relaxing outing. Tried the Beef Medallions and Chicken Parmesan. Food was very good, service was spot on, and the restaurant was very clean. Food prep time was not lengthy. A very pleasant surprise!

The Gallatin Street Grille is my favorite place to eat!
They have a delicious Lemon Chicken Almondine, and also some amazing Key West Pasta. Their flower pot bread, that comes free with the meals, is an amazing little touch that you can't find at any other restaurant. The fried mushrooms are delicious!!! Their banana flambé is by far the best dessert I have ever tried, and if it's your birthday, it's complimentary.
I choose the grille over any chain restaurant. It's delicious and the service is great! All the servers are so sweet and the owners are also very nice and they care about their customers!

We were passing through the area, and the staff at the Holiday Inn recommended this restaurant as "the best in Vandalia." They were absolutely correct! This is not your typical chain restaurant, and the service and food are outstanding.

We have called and had curbside pick up, food was fantastic. We have been inside to dine. Again, food was fantastic. The service is awesome and the staff are always amazing.
