I started at Valley College whenever I had no idea what I wanted to do with my future. I applied for their medical assistant program and I found myself having a true passion for the healthcare field. Knowing this part of myself and being able to become a college student (whenever I thought it was impossible) would’ve not happened without my amazing advisor, Kendal. She answered all of my questions- and there was A LOT lol. But not only that, she still takes time out of her day to make sure the course work is going okay, to make sure I have everything I need and if I don’t she is the first person to try and get me the answer. She’s also helping me to further my education in their nursing program next year. They really want the best for you here, and I’m so happy to be considered apart of this community.

I see a lot of varying reviews about Valley College and let me be clear about my experience. As well as that of my aunts. I started valley college while my life was basically at a standstill. I wanted to get into medical billing and coding with my aunt. I maintained good grades, always corresponded well with the teachers and my personal mentor, Lorra Greene. I got sick with an illness that rendered me in so much pain that I could no longer focus on my coursework so I had to drop out temporarily and I will say this. they pushed me greatly in efforts that I didn't give up. The staff that have been appointed to me have been less of instructors and mentors, and more of friends who want me to succeed. My aunt finished her program and is now employed by one of the largest hospitals in our hometowns region. All of this was possible for her due to her credentials acquired through valley college, and I already have a promising career path offered to me by a friend, all I have to do is finish my work through valley college to become certified, then employed. All I want to say is, they are a great staff and I think they truly want their students to succeed and I do believe it will be well worth your time to go through valley college. Thank you Ms. Greene for believing in me, and thank you Nathan for reaching out to me to finish my course. I appreciate you guys. Of all of the college experience I have you guys truly take the cake, when it comes to that individual care that you guys provide to push us further.

Valley College was really amazing to me. I have trouble learning stuff fast and they would help me with it. The teachers there were amazing. Even the ladies that would answer the phone and everything would always greet you with a smile. Definitely would recommend this college to anyone! Definitely a 10/10 school.

I graduated from valley college last year and it was wonderful attending this school. The teachers are amazing they care about you, call and check on you and take time to explain things to you no matter how long it takes for you to understand it. I had attended another college before to get my CMA but I failed anatomy and physically twice and gave up I quite the school. After about 10 years I decided to try again and this time through Valley College. It was the best decision. I graduated with a 4.0 and now I am a CCMA and a CPT. My experience with this school was so good and my family seen that and because of it my daughter is now attending Valley College. I would recommend the school to everyone.❤❤ I also want to say I graduated in June and got hired in July.

My daughter received her education at Valley College, and got a job a week after she graduated. Her place of employment is very impressed with her knowledge and experience that she learned at Valley. She does front office and back office work in a local pediatricians office, and loves it!! Thank you Valley College for the education she received, and the multiple areas that she is experienced in as a Medical Clinical Assistant!!!

I think this is a great school. Nathan Johnson has helped me in so many ways as well as all the instructors and staff and Valley. I started out in the Medical Billing and Coding Program online. I finished it in February, then decided to further my education, with the help from Nathan, I decided to go to on campus and take classes for the MCA program. I started those classes February 17th. I've maintained around a 4.0 the whole time. We are currently doing classes through email, facebook, and telephone calls, but the instructors and staff have been so helpful throughout the whole process and making sure all the students as well as their selves are safe through this whole pandemic. I would recommend Valley college to anyone who is trying to further their education in the medical field. It sure has been an awesome experience for me and I plan to continue doing my best and finding a job whether it be in a hospital setting or a doctor office setting.

My grandson went there for MA. After graduation he went to New River college to continue his education. Could not get Valley college to send a transcript even after paying. No one knows how to do anything there. Because of their failure to send his transcript his financial aid could not be processed. No credits from Valley college will transfer to another college. Once you graduate forget any help. They could care less. Go to a real college.

Cons: grown adults acting like children, none of my credits transferred, too expensive, and your diploma is useless

Pros: The classes were atleast useful. Since, I already took a&p, medical term, and pharmacology here. I already had basic knowledge about these subjects and this helped me when I had to take these classes again.

Institutions such as Valley College need closed. They are purely "for profit" and do not have transparency. No credits will transfer to local colleges in this area. The price for tuition is unbelievable and not worth the degree. It is a waste of time and money.

Poor school. Teachers always causing drama, trying to suspend students for there mistakes. Better to go to a better high accredited school than that pathetic place.

I've known 5 people to go through this program. They went through the program 4 years ago...still no job in the field. This place seems like a waste of time and money.
