Hampton Inn Beckley

Stayed at Hampton Inn-Beckley for a long ski weekend at Winterplace. I can’t say enough nice things about the employees here! Everyone was on point-from the front desk to the maid service! Hotel was completely sold out for 2 nights of our stay, but staff handled a busy hotel with total ease and efficiency. Breakfast was good; standard for Hampton chain, with eggs, sausage, pastries, waffle station, etc. Hotel shares a parking lot with Texas Steak House, Bob Evans, & Wendy’s, so there are several good food options just a few steps away. If I had any ideas for improvement, it’s that the hotel is a little dated, but has been very well maintained. Overall awesome experience!

I happened to be in group passing through the area and were in need of accommodations for the night. I had given up all hope of ever finding that true hotel experience based on several horrendous past experiences. However, I am so glad we ended up at Hampton Inn Beckley. Each of our rooms were well stocked with towels and clean. The next morning is what exceeded my expectations. Every employee we encountered from front lobby to house keeping greeted us with a smile and were genuinely friendly. Thank you Hampton Inn Beckley for restoring my faith in a great hotel experience.

We ended up staying here after Fairfield Inn in Princeton canceled our reservation without any notice. We immediately called Hampton Inn and they were more than accommodating. Would recommend this place based off customer service alone!

Quick one night stay, needed a place to rest /sleep to break up our long drive. Easy to book, easy to find, quick checkin, nice clean rooms and walking distance to a few restaurants. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable room. I fell asleep very quickly. That's high praise for one who spends too many nights in a hotel

This stay was a one night stay, we didn't arrive until 6 pm. I booked the room online and had the app on my phone so I was prompted to check in and download my key on my phone. We went straight to our room it was clean and comfortable. We booked a room on the 5th floor because of the reviews we read and everything worked well and there was no odors. We then walked next door to a restaurant ate supper. The comp breakfast was ok premade omelets and sausage links, the waffles were ok and cereal was fresh. All of the skim milk cartons read out of date so the employee was pleasant and went right away replaced them with fresh. I checked out on my phone and promptly received a receipt in my email.

Had a very long trip, and weren’t with the highest of patience. Brittany was a really wonderful human, and we appreciate her ability to cater to our overwhelmed tiredness with a sweet demeanor. We really appreciate how helpful she was! She got us a nice room, and got us a fan for noise in the room. The other lady at the desk was very nice, as well. Glad that this hotel has such friendly front desk humans!!

We checked in here on June 9, 2023 after checking out of another area hotel due to issues related to cleanliness. This hotel was VERY clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating, it was quiet, the beds were very comfortable, and everything in the room worked. Breakfast is the typical Hampton Inn experience. It was hot and there was plenty of food. There was really hot water available for hot tea, which is a plus for us. We would definitely stay here again.

We just had an overnight stay, but this was a good choice. The room was nice, and the bed was comfy. The supplies weren't refilled before we got there, no tissues in the box. Breakfast was good lots of choices, love the waffle maker

Five stars across the board! We travel extensively for work and stay almost exclusively at Hilton properties, including A LOT of Hampton Inns. This one definitely stands out as one of the best we've encountered. Beautiful and well-maintained facility. Five+ stars for cleanliness. Walking distance to several restaurants and fast food places and a short drive from the best locally-owned steakhouse Beckley has to offer. Definitely recommend this hotel!

This hotel was perfect for us while visiting The New River Gorge National Park. Location is close to everything, room was clean and comfortable, customer service was outstanding, especially front desk agent Brittney. Close to everything and we felt safe.

Hampton Inn Beckley was a good choice for our short trip. My aunt was in the hospital there and we can into town to visit her.
The hotel met all my expectations of a Hampton Inn, which we prefer to stay at for short road trips. The hotel was very clean, employees friendly and helpful and the room itself was just fine for us. I had my small dog with us and it was nice to have this be a pet friendly option to stay at since he has separation anxiety when I leave home without him. It's nice that there are a few restaurants directly adjacent to the hotel, you can just walk to them easily. Hotel is right off the interstate so super easy access to that. Many restaurants and a grocery store within a mile or so from the hotel too.
I would definitely return in the future if staying in the Beckley area! Hopefully next time it will be warmer weather where we can utilize the pool.

Pet friendly! Very nice room and hotel. Not shabby just because pets are allowed. Comfortable mattress, coffee desk area was cozy and convenient. Beautiful Roman shades instead of old gross curtains, and new carpet. We will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here on the way home from vacation. We stayed in 5 different rooms on vacation and this was by far the cleanest and most pleasant experience of them all.
I removed one star for the room because the hot water pump was not working properly. It took 15 minutes to get warm water to the shower. (I understand this is now fixed)
Even with the shower issue, we would stay here again without hesitation.

Very clean hotel! We have been traveling for a week and a half and this Beckley Hampton was one of the cleanest on our trip!

Breakfast was AMAZING! Staff was kind and professional at check in. The pool was open when I went so that was great for my boys! We had a conjoined room so I loved being able to give my kids their own space. Plus if you have a partner your intimate with you’ll appreciate them having their own room! I’ll definitely be back!

My wife and I had an excellent stay. I was able to take advantage of the outdoor pool, fitness center, and complimentary breakfast. The entire facility inside and out was clean. Hyper allergenic bedding was a big win for the wife. Many tasty restaurants are conveniently located. Entire staff was pleasant and provided great service!! Thank you!!
