Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Beckley, WV

Had to make a stop due to extreme weather. This was along the way so we decided to take a chance. Rooms were clean. Beds very comfortable. The staff was amazing. When we checked out the associate running the front desk asked where we were heading. When we told her she asked what way we were going. Then she told us to avoid that due to road closures and told a different way. Saved us from being stuck in that and was much appreciated!!

I didn't get to stay the night my dear friend's husband had rented a room for us ladies to have a girls night. Nothing to do with this place why I couldn't stay. But I was very clean there were NO TOWELS in the room only hand towels but I enjoyed the clean friendly. Even felt safe environment. So I give 4 starts lack of towels plus the

Will absolutely stay here again and again. Very clean and quiet, (mostly) I did hear a child running down the hall, which woke me up, but I wanted breakfast, so it worked out. The continental breakfast was phenomenal, and fresh and very good and well maintained by staff.

I come to beckley each weekend for my son. There are a few hotels in this area together. The country inn and suites have gone out of their way to help me. They let my son and I check in early with no additional fee. (Super helpful) placed us near the pool and hot tub (which is the main purpose of stay) the front desk lady is SUPER nice. Housekeeper named Jenny was excellent (haven't encountered anyone else) there are if course a few things here and there that are not perfect as with any hotel. However if you are looking for a place with great staff, comfortable beds. And a pool and hot tub that works the extra money you spend here is worth every single penny!!!!! If you're looking at the microtel.......... just NO!

Don't believe any of the bad reviews. The rooms were exceptionally clean. They are absolutely pet friendly. And they put people with pets on the first floor with their own entrance. There is also a pet area right outside of that side entrance. The hotel was much cleaner and much nicer than what has been said on previous reviews. The price is absolutely wonderful and cheap. The location is perfect if you're a traveler. They also will not accept anybody with an ID from within 50 miles of the hotel. Also, there is lots of food, tobacco store, and liquor store, within walking distance of your room. The hotel has a wonderful aesthetic and looks absolutely immaculate from the outside. Everything was super clean in the room. There is absolutely no smoking in this hotel. It will charge you $200 if you smoke in a room. There is a wonderful indoor pool that's also immaculate. This hotel is definitely a three-star hotel with one stock prices.

Best hotel for families in Beckley. We stay here every time we visit my relatives in West Virginia. It's clean, everything works, staff is friendly and competent, and we really enjoy the breakfast buffet.

Nice clean room, great breakfast, friendly staff. Didn't have a chance to swim but the pool area looked nice.

My team and I love this hotel. Melissa is truly an awesome staff. She is a gem. We stay here all the time during our campaign trips. Thank you Country Inn and Suites for making us feel at home.

My wife and children frequent West Virginia .
They choose to stay at the Country inn suites for location and convenience. In September , they had a Hick-Up with the facility . My wife bought it to Jessie’s attention . Rather than giving her a hard way to go ,Jessie went above and beyond to satisfy my wife’s concern . Customer service is lost in america . It’s nice to know that SCOTT is a good leader of a great team .

The owner Scott is truly a pleasure to work with. He has been nothing but accommodating to my families needs after the housefire. I 1 hundred percent recommend this hotel not only because of the hospitality but also the rooms along with the pool, and a hot breakfast. I will definitely stay here in the future. First time guests. From the moment Melissa the Night Auditor answered my call I had a feeling we were receiving great service. Location, Check in, and Rates were very good. About the rooms.. when I opened the door I could smell a fresh scent. I was truly amazed! My room was clean, pillows nicely arranged, and a very tidy bathroom. as well, a nice selection of shower products too! We usually stop in Beckley on route to FL, and will make this a regular stopover whenever possible. Thank You.

If you are looking for a good hotel with good rates and friendly people this will be the best option they are also pet friendly I have an indoor and outdoor and one of the best breakfast that I have had at a hotel

Our whole experience here was wonderful, from check in till time to check out. The two women that checked us in was super nice and helpful. The room was super spacious and so clean!! The bed was so comfortable! It was a very good night's sleep. The indoor pool and spa was so relaxing and fun. The pool area was super welcoming and clean, really enjoyed that. The breakfast bar was FANTASTIC! So many options for everyone, both children and adults. The man did such a good job. The entire staff was so helpful and so kind and welcoming. If your in Beckley you definitely need to stay here! Good bless your hotel and your staff.

Ready for vacation? The worst part of being new to traveling is finding a place that is affordable, clean, spacious room, pool, easy access outside for dogs, easy cleaning up after our pets and some what updated, we would like that it doesn't look like it was part of a 1990s horror movie.

I can't express my satisfaction enough with this location! It has it all!
The floors were a laminate not freezing on the feet or super slick on senior dogs feet either. It did create a bit of a echo but the halls were carpeted and sounds of neighbor pets were muffled. They did great keeping space between guests with pets as well.

We had the room with a pull out sofa and its own TV. The room offered enough space the dogs could move and we were not stepping on them.
The beds were open underneath for additional storage options. It also makes it easy for housekeeping to clean under.

The windows even opened, we were on the 1st floor. AC was perfect! Black out curtians, USB plugs by the bed.

They had a awesome pool the kids were disappointed we had to leave early.

The only thing I can suggest is having blankets for the pull out sofa. One bed had a nice down comforter but the other only a light weight blanket. Of course we could have asked for more but we arrived later then we wanted to and settling kids and dogs in for a early morning.

We will definitely stay here again. The other guest were equally friendly as the staff. The fur-babied bring the best out in people.
Travel safe

Everything was so peaceful. Loved my stay..loved the rockers on the patio entrance.
Did have the heat on on at night. It got a little chilly. Both heat and air worked great. Room was clean as was the hotel.
Did have a issue with toilet tissue holder. It kept falling off the wall.
Told the staff before we left.Loved the coffee in the room. The coffee provided was good . The breakfast was fantastic. We will stay again next trip to WV.

First time staying here. We was amazed at the size of the room. The room was huge but very nice and comfortable as was the bed. My mom went to breakfast and came back bragging about your breakfast bar how good it was. Very nice staff members. You really made our stay a very nice one. God bless your hotel and staff always!!

We booked for a 2 night stay for the Thanksgiving holiday. Our room was on the 1st floor. The outside of the hotel was clean, as was the interior and our room. The hotel smelled nice, like fresh laundry and coffee. The pool area was nice with an indoor and outdoor hot tub.
The breakfast buffet was nice and well stocked by friendly staff they welcomed us into the dining area with a hello and good morning. We did have an issue with an unruly guest. This was zero fault of the hotel staff and they handled the guest in an appropriate and timely manner which was extremely appreciated. Kudos to ALL staff involved as well as the manager. You made us feel safe and welcome. Thank you.
