My truck broke down today in West Virginia area probably 30 minutes from their shop. I'm a owner of a carrier company and they tow my truck and trailer and have my business running again in no time. I'm gonna be always more than grateful. Awesome team work and very professionals.

Had some repair work done to my truck there last week. Every garage in Raleigh, Fayette and Wyoming county I went to had no clue where this specific part was. I was informed other place 5-8hrs for labor charges. Laxtons was more than reasonable getting me scheduled and repaired. Would highly recommend this place and will be returning when something else needs repaired

Our SUV broke down at CVS on Sat before labor day, towing was super fast even brought hubby home so he wouldn't be stuck. Guy was superb at his Job. Towed to the house because we thought we could fix it ourselves since hubby's also a mechanic.
Our driveway is horrible, but the driver got it as far down as he could and hubby coasted into the back yard parking spot!
Will be bringing back over to have her looked at. Great price on towing, timing was the fastest I've seen. Even If we're only around the corner.
Will use again and definitely recommend 10/10

As a professional driver I encountered a incident that left me stuck on a mound of dirt in a impossible hair pen turn that I was unable to see at night, which is why I generally never drive at night. I had to call out for a tow. Before the arrival I spoke with William ( tow truck driver) and gave him my information via google pin point and pictures of my trailer and tractor. Upon his arrival he responded with a wrecker called a rotator, which had to lift me up and off the dirt mound and also help me out the entire area going backwards. At times this rotator had to lift me several times to get all of my wheels back on the ground to drive it out the very narrow road with sharp turns.
I had made one of the most terrible mistakes a driver can make in the dark. after everything was recovered five hours later the truck was placed into their tow yard for safety until their services were paid in full to which my company was unable to accomplish at that moment. I was refused a hotel stay by my company and requested to stay the night in the truck until the next day. I soon met the owner also named William Laxton, who understood my dilemma and allowed me to stay for one night to get the administrative document and pay worked out the following mornings, but this was against his policy.

I soon met the other employees including Andy ( tow driver) and we greeted with great professionalism. To tell you the truth his entire staff made me feel at home and never like and outsider offering me coffee or water and a comfortable seat in their lobby while the payment was being processed. Unfortunately this never happed and I was forced to get a hotel on my own. I might miss the names of some but they were all great I believe Wendy is the one whom bought me a full chicken dinner for thanks giving, this really help me to calm down and relieve a little stress from my ordeal.
I am sharing this story because all those who have had previous contact with tow companies may never experience what I have and all travelers in any type of vehicle can rest assure that they will be taken care of with this company as the owner William is a man of great humility and care for others no matter where you came from over the road and race, ethnicity, gender it doesn't matter. As long as you act civil and respectful you'll receive the same in return. Last a big shout out to my new brother from another mother "Big Andy" I want to thank him again for taking me to the store, tow yard, hotel and train station and giving me a thanksgiving dinner from his family to keep me grounded wow!! many thanks to his incredible wife!! The food was gravy great. this was definitely above and beyond the call of duty just didn't expect this. Please forgive me as their were two other kind tow drivers that also help me with transportation. in closing what a hell of a job team this will be shared on my Facebook, we need more companies to treat others this way as an example please forward this in your social media thanks.

Locked our keys in the vehicle, and they were able to open the door. Considering it was a Saturday night, the 45 minute wait was reasonable. The tiw truck operator was friendly and professional.

Other than the price to replace air fitting to brake chamber on trailer. I can't complain. They were quick to show up on new years eve

For generations, my family has always taken our cars to Laxtons. Even when they were called Union 76. So when I first got my car, I brought it and my second car to them. They take good care of me. And they are the only ones I trust. Petey is an awesome mechanic. He and the crew are caring. Very professional individuals. Excellent service. Never had any complaints.

I can not thank this place enough. Traveling from Michigan, car broke down. Preston was the best.

We were from out of state and our vehicle died. A driver was sent to us within 15 minutes of our call for a jump. Unfortunately that didn't work out, but Hunter was extremely helpful in getting us towed and had good knowledge of what he needed to do. We were very pleased with his service. He gets 5 stars for sure..Thanks again Hunter...

Needed a tow truck to move a car with a dead battery. They were quick, very nice. Would definitely suggest them and would use them again.

Big Andy was great, definitely turned a bad day into a good experience. Dispatch gave me a courtesy call to let me know they were running just a couple minutes behind. Still showed up early. 10/10 recommend their service.

Car wouldn't start when trying to go home from work. Called Laxtons for a tow to their shop and they were fast and got the car to the shop with no problem. Driver let me sit in his truck while we handled the payment for the tow since it was raining and cold.

On the repair side they told me what I needed, didn't try to sell me anything I didn't
need and got the work done as quick as they possibly could and the lady in the office who took my payment when picking up made me laugh when I picked up my car. Put a smile on my face especially since I had to go right back to work. I'd recommend Laxtons for mechanical work or a tow.

Big bad john and Dandy Andy are two of the nicest West Virginia boys you could ever meet! My sister and I are traveling cross-country to take my husband, his new work truck. I put gas in a diesel engine and pulled over and John and Andy come to get us. He brought us to our hotel room, carried her luggage in and treated us really good. I guess that’s the West Virginia Way. Thank you guys very much and give John and Andy a big old raise.

We were returning to Michigan from Florida when we broke down on northbound 77 near Beckley, WV. It was approximately 1:00 am on a Sunday morning so I did a search for a 24 hour towing service and found Laxtons. They were very polite when I called and said they could be there in 30 minutes. We were traveling as a family so there were 6 of us in the vehicle so the owner himself came out with his personal vehicle to help us. I was having difficulty finding a hotel with vacancies so the driver suggested one and they had rooms for us. They took us to the hotel and took my vehicle back to their shop. Monday morning my Tahoe was their priority and had it fixed promptly and at a reasonable cost. Hats off to Laxtons! They earned my respect this weekend!

Ball joint recently fell out of my ride in the middle of an intersection and there I was , frame on the ground . The tow truck driver was friendly and loaded my car up without damaging it any worse than what it was , I was impressed. Very reasonable rate and got there fast. Two thumbs up

We live in North Carolina and we broke down in Fayetteville West Virginia. AAA told us that we would have to find a different ride and the tow truck would not take us home. John, our tow truck driver arrived and told us to get in the car and that he would be happy to drive us. He was extremely professional and kind. He literally saved our day. I am from North Carolina and had a tractor that required large wrecker service in Virginia. The employees at Laxton's Wrecker Service were very professional and I couldn't of asked for better service. Chris was very prompt to help us and get my tractor off of the road. They was really great! They came from Beckley all the way to Hinton! From Hinton they towed my truck to Princeton. I had a slight issue. My truck had two kayaks I was hauling at the time. My husband and I was trying to come up with a game plan. We was looking at driving all to Beckley getting our trailer. Returning to Princeton loading the kayaks. Then going back to Beckley!! So we asked Laxtons if they would haul the kayaks back to beckley. Since we was all headed to Beckley anyway. Which they agreed too!! Oh this was also on Labor Day! We really appreciated all the help especially on a holiday!!! Thank you so much!

Laxton's towed my broken down 15-passenger Dodge van for a very reasonable price. John was so punctual, professional, kind, and considerate. I would absolutely call them again if I was in the area and needed a tow.
