My wife and I had an Amazing time here recently. Paul was our server in the lounge & provided us excellent service. This place pours you a real taste of beer if you're having trouble choosing.The wine flights were so delicious too. My favorite food item was the mini Filet sandwiches & pretzels & beer cheese. Frederic came buy our table & made us feel like family. His wine knowledge & great demeanor was that little extra that took our experience over the top! I noticed he made his way around the place to make every guest/table feel special! We'll definitely be back soon. Really chill atmosphere, wonderful staff, & of course great food!!! Second time eating breakfast here and the food is so fresh and delicious. The Eggs Benedict is perfect in the fact that they use thin English Muffins instead of traditional muffins. The California dreaming and Irishman skillets are worth coming back for! The staff is always friendly, welcoming and pleasant to have a conversation with. Hope they keep up the good work!

Had our son and future daughter in law's wedding rehearsal dinner at John and Tony's. They did a great job for us and were very attentive and helpful in planning the event. Recommended!

Excellent Chicken Parm! Other places pound the Breast down to a piece of paper size. Not here it was a big thick piece of meat

It was my first time here. I ordered and picked up right on the spot and got to enjoy looking at their cozy Christmas decor in their dining area. Benny, one of the owners is amicable and so welcoming.
Food was ready quickly! Pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Eggs and bacon were awesome too. Menu has so many delicious and different options to satisfy any craving. I can't wait to return with family and friends.
They have a big dining area with fireplace. Big bar with seating area, perfect for entertainment and hosting a party. There's also a private room!

First time ordering from here and while I did pick up I can say what a cozy and cute place!! Walking in it just feels comfy! I work for a 911 center and had 15 orders to pick up for myself and coworkers. The staff was so friendly, made sure I had all my orders, offered me coffee, and were just so pleasant to talk to. Everyone was talking about how good the food was. I ordered the apple cream cheese French toast, delicious! Multiple people were impressed at the fruit selection and that it was super fresh. Overall, myself and my coworkers were very satisfied and will definitely be returning!

Stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday. Seated promptly. Our order included eggs, pancakes, potatoes, toast and fruit. The food came out fast and was delicious. The fruit was nicely organized in a dish and the presentation was beautiful. Great friendly service and reasonable price for a good breakfast.

Amazingly fresh breakfast! I had the Benny's biscuits and gravy it was devine! My husband loved the steak skillet and for dessert we got the most fantastic vanilla ice cream with blueberries on a fantastic piece of banana bread that though we were absolutely stuffed we just wolfed it down! And talk about service with a smile!! Everyone was so friendly and just happy to have you there it was one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in a long time. Pretty impressed with this suburban hideaway! Im from out of town, so I don't know how popular John & Tony's is (there were only three other customers on the Tuesday night I visited), but would say the quality vs. value is top of class and worth a visit! Menu and bar selection is small, but let's face it, you're going for a good steak and their aged NY Strip is a winner... Cooked perfectly and just buttery enough to pop. Fresh grilled veggies on the side we're delightfully rich, and both fries and salad above par.

We went for a birthday party. The entire staff was fabulous and even though it was quite a large group we didn't need to wait long for anything we needed. The food was hot and tasty and it was nice to try several things on our first visit. I think this place is great for a private party and I saw they do wine tasting on Thursdays. I'd very much like to participate in the future.

Our family has eaten at John & Tony’s multiple times. First you’ll notice how Everyone is extremely friendly and focused on making your dining experience a great one. Next is the Food which we’ve found to always be delicious, especially the Italian dishes. Lastly, we’ve always appreciated that this restaurant offers great value and affordability. We had a breakfast for about 20 people the day after our wedding at John and Tony's. We only made the reservation about a week in advance, and they were happy to help us. We had a separate room, and they opened the restaurant a little early so that our guests could have first crack at the buffet. Each guest was offered coffee or a mimosa as they walked in. The buffet offered a lot of choices and everyone thought the food was delicious. They even sent us a card later to wish us a wonderful honeymoon. They made us feel like family.

My husband and I always have an excellent meal here. Consistently delicious food and friendly service. We are wine club members and enjoy the variety of wines offered. The general manager has an amazing knowledge of wines and helps you find the right one for your taste.

3 of us enjoyed our dinner. I had the fish n chips which were fried perfectly. We shared the nachos platter abd loved the freshly fried tortilla chips. Definitely coming back to try the breakfast.

I must say that unfortunately in this day and age it's difficult to find places that have great service, but John & Tony's staff is some of the friendliest and attentive I come across in a while. The fact that the food was great was a huge plus as well. Hope the staff here is noticed for the great job they do. Truly makes this a great place to enjoy a meal.

Its a quiet little place off North avenue, their food is delicious, my favorite is the breakfast quesadilla its the best one i have ever tried so far! I love that the atmosphere is quiet, it makes eating more enjoyable. The staff is very kind.

Nice restaurant with pleasant staff and a good menu. My food arrived on a hot plate that kept my dinner warm to the end. Our server, Kevin, was cheerful and attentive. I found the pricing in line with the quality and size of the entree. I will definitely go back.

We held a sort of mini wedding reception (the size of a rehearsal dinner due to COVID-19 restrictions) here and could not have been more pleased. T42 (formerly John & Tony's) went above and beyond to make our night special. The decor was phenomenal, the service was exceptional, the food was delicious; and they were probably more communicative and accommodating than any other vendor we dealt with. Additionally, they went to great effort to conform to COVID-19 restrictions as unobtrusively as possible so that we could safely enjoy our evening.
Besides being a great place for special events, we frequently dine here and recommend the restaurant for steak dinners, tapas, and/or drinks. Their outdoor dining patio is especially nice.

My wife and I were invited to be a part of an evaluation team for the breakfast menu. The presentation and tastes of the entrees were great. I especially liked the Eggs Benedict and the Waffles. The staff made us very welcome and relaxed.

First time being here since they switched it to a breakfast/lunch restaurant. Went for Mother's Day with my wife and kids and the food was really good. Prices weren't bad at all and you get plenty of food. Service was excellent as well.
