I was weary about seeing Dr. Sheppard after reading all the negative reviews. However, I still booked the appointment to go see for myself if she was a good primary care provider for me. At my first appointment, she made me feel comfortable and took the time to listen to all my health concerns. Then she was able to advise me with evidence-based medicine and very much valued my input on any decisions for treatment plans. Honestly, I am shocked by the reviews left by other patients, this is not the Dr. Sheppard I see when I visit go in for care. She is very friendly, kind, and empathic towards me as a patient.

I have received amazing care there. I have chronic severe back pain. She and her staff are the first medical team in years that have taken me seriously and referred me to specialists that have helped me tremendously. I highly recommend her and her team.

Love Dr. Sheppard. Being seeing her for years. Gives you the facts and is honest. Obviously respected by nurses and doctors in the medical community. First doctor to tell me I need to lose weight (which I do) others were just "you should consider it, if you feel like it" that straight forwardness is great! And was the kick in the pants I needed to hear. My husband switched to her and loves her too.

Our family has been under the care of this Dr for many years. She is attentive, professional and deeply committed to caring for us as patients to the highest degree. I trust her as a physician and would recommend her.

I had a flashback from my experience with Dr. Sheppard after my car accident in 2010, and how she treated me as a patient, googled her and not surprised about her rating. I told her I was in pain and she didn’t believe me, made it seem like I was making it up for financial benefit though my car was totaled and I was t-boned on the drivers side. I went to a different provider as I refused to be gaslit by someone who was supposed to provide care. I see she remains the same in her bedside manners.

The worst doctor experience I have ever had. Super rude and condescending. She was upset that I wanted to refill a prescription so she sent me to get drug tested, although I have never had to get drug tested for that prescription before, prescribed by her. She did it out of pure aggravation, which was obvious because even the nurses were unsure why I had to get drug tested. I went through with it anyways as there would be nothing to find. Unprofessional and unkind. Does not care about her patients and it is extremely obvious she is tired of working.

She definitely isn't like the other doctors I have seen in that office. The other doctors and nurse practioners are very nice and allow you to talk even if you haven't been vaccinated. She was very rude. The only reason I seen her was because no one else was available and I needed antibiotics for an infection. Next time I need to see a doctor if the other ones aren't available I'll go to a prompt care or osf urgo instead of seeing her.

If I could give a negative star I would - this physician is rude and completely uncaring, she lacks the knowledge of the word empathy! MY 78 yr old mother had a visit today and was treated so rudely and so uncaringly I will never let her go back. She went in on her own and due to the way this woman treated her - left in a wheelchair because of the anxiety she had because of this doctor. The doctor left the room like she could care less

If your an African American woman on Medicare this is not the place to go. They are unprofessional, staff doesn’t communicate with each other and they are not in a hurry to take care of your needs. Seems like the doctor is only there to collect a check. If you need a prescription refilled they give you the run arounds about sending it to the doctor and God forbid your in pain. Please don’t come here unless your blind deaf or dumb

Terrible person. She will not refill my blood pressure medicine because I lost my insurance during covid. Saw her 6 months ago too. I may have a heart attack now.

If I could give her 0 stars I would. She’s very rude and unprofessional. She never wants to answer questions and just treats her patients very terrible.

In the time she was my physician, 9 out if 10 appointments were canceled by her or rescheduled with another dr.

Absolutely horrible. She does not take patients seriously, and lacks all empathy. I would rather leave no stars.
