Arlene's Truck Stop

It may be a truck stop but it's also a great place to eat for the truckless. In a new place, always order the dish they're willing to put their name on (I.e., Arlene's Burger). No Sysco System frozen patties thrown unceremoniously onto the grill. This is real, fresh, ground cow; and cooked to order!

A great first visit. Breakfast was fresh and exactly as ordered. Equally important were the staff, who were friendly and treated us like regulars. Paying at the gas station cashier was a bit odd, but wasn’t an issue. I hope to visit again in the near future.

BTW… massive pancakes. Be careful not to get carried away.

Older diner, nice and clean. I had the chili with jalapeños to start, really good chili! Had a Ruben, hot and fresh, it was big and good. Onion rings spot on. Server's were engaging and awesome . Im Happy I stopped here.

Great, simple truck stop restaurant with delicious food. This an actual truckstop with actual truckers. So don’t expect a hipster interpretation of a truckstop café.

Excellent service, friendly staff, VERY cheap food. The coffee is perfectly serviceable, its just what you need. The food is good for the price, comes out quick, well made and filling. The food is actually cooked in the kitchen and not just frozen microwaved junk. The specials are excellent AND they had a curry special for one of the Sihk holidays due to, I believe, a prohibition on meat for them.

Anyway, all over a good spot to stop, even if its a bit off the highway to be much of a "truck stop" these days.

This Truck Stop has absolutely the best food in the area. When me and my Fiance stopped there and I walked in it was then that I remembered that me and my late Wife stopped there in 2007 and the place was still the same, even remembered what booth we sat in, and the food is still as delicious as it was when I came through and stopped there overnight to deliver my load and reload. Anyone passing through Battle Creek MI I definitely recommend to stop there and get a delicious meal, you won't be disappointed.

I’m impressed! Have been driving by this place for years but finally stopped by for breakfast and it was awesome! Good portions, great taste but you may have to wait a bit as they are popular! Staff is very friendly, made us feel welcome, we’ll

I drive past this mom and pop truck stop daily and never stop!! Today I had time to stop and man am I glad I did… staff was friendly and food was amazing!!! I ordered a breakwich and tater tots and it was delicious 😋. The portions were huge and fulfilling. I didn’t take the hours of operation picture but I do know there not 24hours and CLOSED on Sunday’s. I want to say the hours were posted on the door as 6am to 8pm. I did notice a port o potty in the lot for any truckers staying overnight. I will definitely return

I've only been driving 31+ years and I absolutely love this place. Reminds me of 1990 and my twenties!

First time here. Food great. Employees great. Store is awesome. Really wonderful old school truck stop.

They give you alot of food. It's all homemade. If you go away hungry that's your fault. Breakfest is the bomb there an priced below what other places charge.

The restaurant had this 1970's/1980's vibe to it. The food was incredible and the service was incredible.
The waitresses were polite and engaging. Very enjoyable experience. Plenty of truck parking.

Best hash browns I've ever had. Most hash browns are over cooked. These were slightly under / perfectly cooked - not brown. You could taste the buttery goodness.

This was my first visit to Arelen’s and I couldn’t be happier I went. Food is incredible, well portioned and fair priced. The atmosphere is old school and homey feeling. Big thumbs up to Arelen’s!

Great food and people! You don't really expect a restaurant in a gas station/truck stop to really be good, but it's amazingly good....check them out!

This place is still soooo good! Lots of food, great wait staff, and very reasonable prices. You have to check them out!

Grew up here still love going here. Glad they found some of Arlene's recipes

My first time was an interesting experience. The food was great, dessert was even better. I do wish they had their own entrance and didn't share one with the gas station, but... It is what it is. Staff and servers were friendly. We will be back. Pricing is spot on with the amount they give you!!

This place is awesome. Portions are huge. The fish special was amazing.

The staff was super friendly!! Our waitress was so calm and patient with us! The food was absolutely delicious!! Probably some of the best onion rings and cold slaw I have ever had! Definitely have this place marked so we can stop by again when we come back through!!
