I was very pleased to have gotten Bob Van Gorden as the dealer working with me, my 1st time going to this dealership. He's very personable, an up front person, which I like because I am too, and did everything to my great satisfaction.

Once again my wife and I have Matt Loubier to thank for an excellent experience while looking for a new car. When we decided it was time to consider trading in our 2019 Highlander, there was no question that we wanted to go see Matt (he sold us the first on in 2019). For the next few hours, Matt gave us his undivided attention. He listened to what we were interested in and worked hard to find the car to match our needs rather than going the easier route and trying to convince us to buy something already on the lot, but not really what we wanted. After several test drives and looking at a number of options, he helped us find the right car for us. Matt's concern for his customer's does not end when the sale is completed. When I swung by the next day with a few questions on the new controls, he took the time to patiently show me how to do the set up and configuration of the system. Cathy and I would like to thank Matt and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great car buying experience.

Bob Van Gorden made the sale an actual enjoyable experience. I dreaded going to talk to a car salesman. I have always had bad experiences with them doing underhanded practices or changing a deal. I was ready for a battle. Bob changed the whole image of a car salesman. Very knowledgeable helpful, easy to talk with. If you had a question he would get an answer. He worked with me to get a deal I was happy with. I emailed him and he always got back to me. I believe the salesman is the window of the dealership. The dealership pares with Bob, giving him the ability to please the customer. I would definitely go to Central Maine Toyota and Bob.

I just purchased a 2021 Tacoma from Central Maine. I'm in my mid 60's so I have had a little experience with car dealerships over the years. None were pleasant experiences. All were high stress, EXCEPT this one.
Bob Van Gorden was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly (to me, anyway), relaxed. I felt no pressure at all. First time ever leaving a dealership "happy".

The whole experience was respectful and low key. Superior to many other car dealerships I've been to. Our contact was Zach Switzer - a pleasure to work with. I'll be returning here next time I start car shopping.

First time purchasing from Central Maine Toyota. My husband and I are very pleased. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted, asked if wanted any assistance. No pressure from John nor Ryan, our sales representative. We were offered a fair dollar amount for our 2014 Toyota Camry LE as a trade in, though we declined as we already had a buyer. Ryan was wonderful to work with. We felt he was working for us. When we picked up the Camry, Ryan made sure I was comfortable with all the setups and gadgets before driving off to home. We would definitely recommend Central Maine Toyota.

This review was made after our new 2024 Toyota Camry SE was picked up with a full tank of gas (courtesy of Central Maine Toyota) and driven 50 miles to home. This Camry gave a great ride, responded extremely well to passing traffic on the highway as well as some tight corners with intown driving. I, we, are very happy with our purchase and Ryan who assisted us.
