Shopped around trying to find the right couch for us. Went to all the big box stores.
Decided to check out Mardens again.
Got the couch we wanted for literally half the price of everywhere else. No damages looks amazing came with 6 pillows.
Couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience.

I took my wife here for the first time a few weeks ago. She said it was a little overwhelming but she did ultimately walk out with a decent number of items. It's fun to go in, walk around and see what they have added from the last time you were there.

We ended up here looking for a
couch, I'm glad we did! The process was quick and easy. They had couches for all price ranges! The employee wrapped it in plastic wrap for the trip home which was nice as we traveled over an hour. The checkout was quick and they helped load it into the truck. We will definitely be back!

I purchased 7 bolts of fabric recently. I noticed on my receipt that I was charged for 8 bolts. I don't drive to Waterville often, so I waited a couple of weeks to go to the store on my way home from NH. I didn't expect much, but the manager was able to view the tapes and confirmed I was overcharged. I was well taken care of.

You should buy it when you see it .it may not be there again . But great great prices . Brand name stuff. I never make it out of there with out buying so much for so little. Dog products you can't beat the prices. If you go offen you can really pick up such super deals ,but even for the occasion shopper get ready to save...... no can get out if there with out bargains you just can't pass up.

We went in to buy flooring the last hour that the store was open today. It took me 20 minutes to decide which one so by the time we found what we wanted it was 7:30. Luke was eager to help and extremely kind. He doesn’t know it but he made my night by being so kind even though it was almost time to close up shop. He deserves a raise. He had amazing customer service skills and did the job quickly and very pleasantly! Super nice guy. Thank you!

Great experience and a big Thank You to the entire team. Matthew the manager, who helped me out getting what I needed for the winter. Caleb helped me assemble my bike rack and made sure all the parts were intact. I drove away w a bike rack on my van and a big smile on my face. Thank You for the professional experience and the nice sense of humor the staff has. Big smiles and great vibes. One of the nicest Marden's I have been to, but all the Marden's are a great place to get good deals. Happy Day. Joseph

Found a display necklace Jewelry holder. It looked massive will have to travel to make it again there was so much to see and the prices were super low

From soup to nuts, A to Z ....so many items, always great prices, there's nothing like Marden's for just about everything. Sure, it's a hot mess, but I shop for flooring, building supplies, occasional sporting goods, candy, electronics, and clothing, not the museum like experience. Mardens is the best for keeping children in school supplies, and hobbie items. Always an adventure, always good value.

Always something new to check out and just fun to look around. Everyone in our family makes a point of making a trip to Mardens every time they visit and usually do not go home empty-handed.

What a great find, they have everything from fabric, clothing brand names, furniture, appliances building materials and more inventory is always moving only located in Maine

It's always a fun time to go dig through all the goodies there, especially during the holidays!! Stocked with great toys for a reasonable price.
The jingle is the honest truth. "I should have bought it when I saw it, at Mardens!" I constantly find myself saying it! :)

Always a fun place to shop as you never know what you'll find.

Today, I purchased 3 fabulous & super comfy summer dresses (a steal at $9.99 each), a Liz Claiborne summer purse, a generously sized beach towel ($4.99), and a few other clothing items. Score!

Seems the only place I'm able to find quality and age appropriate clothing is at Marden's and their prices are unbeatable.

So, the purse I found was a one-off and was missing a price tag. It was also a little scuffed with black marks which I wasn't sure if I'd be able to remove. The service desk attendant was able to find the price which, in it's scuffed condition, was a little more than I cared to spend. A manager was called & after a brief discussion a reasonable price was agreed upon. Although I wasn't able to remove all of the black marks, there are only 2-3 on the front & sides which are small & barely visible; the worst ones are on the bottom- (who cares about that, right?) I'm happy to have finally found a great summer handbag and for less than $20!

I've been a Marden's shopper for over 50 years and have fond memories of the Sunday family trips, at least once a month, from our home in Bangor to the store in Waterville.

I've furnished a 4 BR home with quality furniture from Marden's, clothed my children from birth throughout adulthood, purchased several plants & rose bushes, home improvement items, foods, footwear, well, it would be easier to list items I haven't bought there: cars, pets. 😂

If you see it & think you might want it- buy it as goods sell quickly. They have a hassle free return policy in case you change your mind once you get home 😉

How can you NOT like this store!?!

Always excellent deals . However lately the store associates in ladies clothing and dressing room are not very friendly or helpful. I've been shopping at Matdens for many years and have noticed this huge difference.

I went to Mardens in Waterville, looking for an artificial Xmas tree. I had questions,and asked for help. A very nice lady showed up. She answered what she could,but didn’t know all the answers. Sorry that I can’t remember the names, of the people I had the pleasure of briefly meeting. Another equally nice lady shows up. She too answered questions, yet still had to call a manager. He showed up also very patient and accommodating . I made a decision ,and he carried the heavy box to the service desk for me. I paid, and one of the ladies waiting on me shows up with a cart. She asked another male employee to help load this into my vehicle. He happily did so with her. This was the best customer service. Need to say I went in to shop more. That cashier that checked me out also very pleasant. Five Star Service. Thank you all.

Marden's is a unique place to go to when you were looking for something You didn't even know you wanted or needed. That's why I love about Martin's. I got two pairs of shoes for a really good price. They're high quality. Will ago again when I need to be in Maine again.
