Very happy with the whole process of working with Dalton Flooring Center. Ron came out and gave us a quote for our flooring. He was very kind, informative, and helped us choose our new flooring. They matched the price Lowes gave us and got us a better product. Then in a short time we had Alix and his crew out at our house and they did a wonderful job. Alix came out multiple times to finish up the project, worked with us and our busy schedule, and was great to work with. Alix walked us through each step, walked us through changes to the project when problems appeared, and made sure we were happy with the flooring before leaving. We are really enjoying our new floor and I would definitely recommend them!

Excellent project management by Mike Gross from flooring choice through installation, and follow-up. Mike provided his expertise in helping me choose the carpet and vinyl flooring that my budget allowed. He also chose a professional installation person, Ollie, who was not only an expert, but also very timely in getting the job done. I am so pleased with the cost and the installation.
I am very happy with my living room, entry way, and hallway flooring. All looks great. I recommend them very highly to anyone who needs flooring.

Ron came out to measure and was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful in assisting us in choosing a style and color carpet. Dalton Flooring beat the price we received from other companies! His crew that installed it was also very professional and particular in their work and it looks amazing! We had a problem with our original carpet order and they spent time with us and helped us find another carpet that we could get installed instead of waiting 7 weeks. We would highly recommend them!

Team M and M did a great job installing my flooring and carpeting. Those guys are the best. They worked all the time they were here and did a beautiful and professional job. I can't even see the seams even though I saw when it was done. My carpet feels plush, my many stairs are beautifully carpeted, and the vinyl floors are awesome. After visiting every flooring store and big box store in the area we visited Dalton, based on all the great reviews. We were debating on refinishing our hardwood floors or doing some sort of luxury vinyl. We also needed carpets done. This place is a one stop shop. Sam (the owner) was fantastic to work with and we were able to get everything scheduled for the following 2 weeks (floor refinishing one week, carpet the next). Rather then wait 6-8 weeks from all the other places and have our house in disarray for a long time, it’s was really quick! Our hardwood floors look brand new, we love the color they turned out. And the carpet is a world of difference from our old carpet. Very happy with everything! The 4 installers/workers were great also! Hard to find good workers these days and Dalton’s went above and beyond. We are now looking into vinyl plank for the other areas of our house we didn’t do, bathrooms and garage hallway. Will be back to Dalton for that as well when the time comes! Highly recommend using them for any flooring needs.
Before and after photos. Went from yellow floors to espresso. And from plain boring cheap carpet to the plush grayish, (so comfortable to lay on)! Completely changes the look and feel of the house.

Alex the Installer and co worker arrived and got to work immediately. Four layers of vinyl flooring was removed. Floor was installed without issues. Molding was put on, but there was an issue with missing quarter round that was from an old install. This concerned Alex and brought this to my attention. Found a piece in the garage and he installed it on both sides of entry to the kitchen. He is a true craftsman. He and his co worker were very courteous. I love the choices of flooring.

Fast, reliable and always providing the level of expertise you would expect from a flooring center. We've used Dalton Flooring for all our home renovations over the last 10 years. Extremely satisfied with the carpet we chose for our new bedroom addition.

My husband and I built new home back in 2014. We had a terrible experience with our builder and our hardwood floors had gaps everywhere. We knew we would have to replace the floors, but we were very skeptical as we did not want to make any mistakes.
We checked around with a handful of different flooring companies and were shocked to find that every single company approx. 5 qty all recommended that we stay away from hardwood and go with Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring that looks like hardwood. I was told people really aren’t installing hardwood anymore because the LVP has a lot to offer.
I did a lot of research and found that we would not have to worry about gaps, animal scratches, tear, wear, spills etc. and there were many different color options. Initially, I had decided to go with a flooring company in Belleville, but then I decided to go into one more store just to be extra sure. I ended up at Dalton’s Flooring in Southgate and met Big John. He and I discussed Coretec flooring which is 8mm thick! Each plank has a wear layer and the best part is that these planks could be placed directly over my original hardwood floors!!! That was the icing on the cake. I didn’t have to pay to tear up the original floors, the cortec floors are designed to just click and float. So you could technically pull them up and take them with you if you wanted to. I already had a price from a different vendor, but after talking to Big John, I knew I was in the best possible hands. He gave me the better price and he guaranteed the work. He sent his installers out the following week Mr. Ali and Mr. Ali they were a great couple of guys to work with. They answered all of my questions and took care of everything. We were able to shuffle furniture around and the job was done in 2 days and the third day the guys were there just a couple of hours. I had approx 1,300 square feet to lay. The guys came in, tore up the shoe moulding, laid the new floors and replaced the new shoe moulding and also used matching transition bars where needed. No nails or glue. My husband, my daughter, my family and friends all absolutely LOVE the floors! I’m super happy with my purchase and I will definitely call Big John for all my flooring needs in the future. Dalton installed new carpet and also installed 5-yr. old carpet that we took out of one room and wanted in a smaller room. Dalton also bound a piece of excess carpet so it could be an area rug. They worked with the timeline of our bedroom remodeling job. The installer did an excellent job.

We just bought the Shaw waterproof backing color grey splash city carpet with an eight pound pad. It is the same carpet as the Mohawk waterproof backing but half the price! We also had great installers, they came out did a professional job in no time. We have bought our carpet from Dalton three times now over the years still a great price, great product and great service, so glad things do not change over time!! Thank you Dalton for another great carpet experience!!

We had Dalton Flooring install new LVT at the Fire station, not only did Sam give us a unbelievable price (The other quote I received was 2.5 times what we paid Dalton) his installers were professional and work was completed in a timely fashion. Dalton also installed flooring at the Fire station in the Dorm and Training room a few years prior, they did this free of charge.
