Applewood Coney Island

It's nice to sit at the bar and sip coffee in the morning. Good prices and my meal was excellent. The owners are super friendly.

My coworkers go here for breakfast. We always have a huge order and they always get it right. They even go as far as taking the names for each order and they label them for us! They haven't forgotten any part of our orders so far and of course the food is delicious and the service is excellent. I would definitely recommend!

Ordered French Toast, Eggs & Sausage and it was DELICIOUS!!! Service was excellent. Two older women was so Kind and Sweet. One of them even told me a funny joke. 🤣
Made me feel very welcomed.

Great food, great price! Quirky owner/manager lady that I ended up loving her personality. Would drive out of my way to go back here. Outstanding breakfast(and I’m very picky about breakfast cooking) plus amazing hospitality!

The staff was beyond pleasant at this Coney Island. The food came out quickly and was very good. I don’t live in the area but would definitely go back. I love going to places where professionalism is practiced throughout the entire visit.

Food is always fresh & good! They also have excellent customer service! I’d rather come here and get my food than go anywhere else ❤

I only stopped here because I couldn't find a subway near me open anymore without driving all the way past outer drive. I'm so glad I stopped in today! This was perfect. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger and fries sure I had to wait 15 minutes. But it was well worth it.! Better than the subway would have been. I'm rating 5 stars. This has the perfect atmosphere for a family to come and dine in or you can sit at the counter and relax. And as a pregnant woman who had a certain craving this hit the spot with no problems. And just fyi, the beef is never frozen here. My patties were fresh!!!! And you could taste it....!!!!!!

I went for breakfast for the first time on a carry out and the service was awesome. I ordered a Veggie Skillet it was excellent. I tried their green tea, it was very tasty not your typical. I recommend people to come there that want great, fast service .

Best restaurant hands down! Food looked, smelled like something out of a magazine! Food rated magical! Atmosphere is very calming and serene. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING! Will be telling everyone I know about this restaurant. 10/10!!!

Very friendly, and they're less than 10 minutes from work. The chicken salad is delicious.
Update: I hadn't been there in a year, and I got breakfast from there and it was really good, served fast, and I got twizzlers from the lady ☺

Love the fried chicken tender pita and the cook is such a nice man. He makes you feel welcomed and he is very appreciative for you doing business there. I like going to a restaurant where they make you feel at home. Very clean restaurant and excellent fries every time.

Omgosh delish!!!!! Their country skillet is amazing! Atmosphere customer service presentation everything.... Fantastic!!! As an expedite driver I go all across the country and this is by far the best breakfast my hubs and I have had 😉

The lady who has taken my order both times is such a sweetheart and she takes care of her customers well. The food was exquisite. The food that I ordered was so hot and fresh, their fries were amazing and this is my new favorite coney. The portions are exceptionally large and ita delicious. And also this sweet woman brought a 40oz bottle of hand sanitizer and tissue box to the table for us. This is the sweetest staff than any other restaurant I've been to. Thanks so much applewood, you guys are exceptionally wonderful.

First, the atmosphere, being greeted and treated with respect love and care. Then not to mention prompt service with delicious tantalizing foods. Not only is it comfort food and comfortable environment but there is nothing that could stop this place from being the best Coney Island in Michigan. My favorites are the Florentine omelette,mushroom Swiss burger,(real authentic burgers and ingredients),their sweet tea, and my daughters love the Minnie Mouse pancakes. Actually you can make special requests,because the chef is VISIONARY. The women there are graceful, kind and there is no drama or shenanigans. God bless and keep this awesome Coney Island .

Literally the nicest lady working here. The food was excellent and served fast. The lady that was serving me gave me some skittles when I paid for my order. I highly recommend going here excellent experience

I love this place. The hostess is so nice and kind. It has a very relaxing atmosphere and the selection on the menu is vast. The food was exactly what I wanted and was delicious too. It's clean and welcoming.

Great place to eat. Very friendly and welcoming. The service alone is good enough to keep me coming back. The food is great too so I'm definitely beyond satisfied.

First time eating here and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great and the 'home made' lemonade was great. Coworker had their sweet tea and loved it. Will probably be back soon
