Los Grandes Mexican Restaurant

Came here for the first time last week and had an amazing experience! There was live music and I believe there’s also a nightclub in the back. We were sat immediately and the server was super friendly. I ordered the steak guacamole and chips as well as the margarita flight and my partner ordered the birria tacos. The food arrived relatively quick and everything was ABSOLUTELY delicious and fresh!!! I would absolutely return again. I had the best experience ever here. I would highly recommend this place. Also this restaurant is VERY large. There’s plenty of seating available. I will say, the band is relatively loud so that is something to be aware of prior.

We've eaten here a few times and have enjoyed it very much. We've been here on. Friday and Saturday. On Saturday they had live banda playing and it was very full that day. And I believe they have like a club open in basement although I'm not too sure about which day(s)....

The concept of sushi at a Mexican restaurant may seem strange, but it all tastes so amazing! The portion sizes are ample and the quality is excellent. No one in my group was disappointed. I ordered the Chili Relleno. My guests ordered the Baja tacos with shrimp, the VIP bowl with shrimp and the Princess roll.

The service was fast, attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was fun with a Mariachi band. The only reason I gave 4 stars was it was a little too cold.

The food was great, especially if you like seafood!! The girl that was our waitress was amazing, she wears glasses, and I believe she just started working there. However, she has an amazing customer service. They even gave me a little cake for my birthday! Definitely coming back.!! ❤

I enjoyed everything that we ordered. It’s a fun lively place to go to. I ordered la torre which had bursting flavors of sour, sweet, and tangy, so good. My partner got the pasta Miramar- it had the right of amount of sauce with the fettuccine. If you like garlic, cheesy, savory sauce try it! definitely would order that again. If you love margaritas- get the margarita flights!

We waited to be seated, which took a few minutes. Not during rush our either. The waitress was in the kitchen getting someone's order. The bartender didn't acknowledge our presence either (I get it. It's not your job to host, but acknowledge and say someone will be right with you). The waitress was nice and friendly. The food was delicious. Being a Cali girl, it's always hard to find good Mexican food. I always rate the beans and rice. They were delicious, we got the Parrillada for 3. Great choice if you want to try a little bit of everything. The cocktail drinks 🍹 were delicious. We'll definitely be back to try different dishes and to check out the mariachi that plays on Sundays.

Anything and everything is delicious on their menu!! MOST AUTHENTIC and great presentation for the price Mexican food you can get in the twin cities! Drinks, sushi, seafood, streaks - everything is good!! Must try if your in the mood for Mexican food. I will add that they have live music that can be loud and cause a hard time talking with your dinner guest but they have seating available for farther eating!

The food was very delicious. Service was very fast. In less then 10 min we already got our order. El Banda was playing very loud. But if you like quiet place, than you have to go somewhere else. I recommended this restaurant to my friends also.

Excellent food and very flavorful!! My husband and kids were very happy with the portions and tasteful entrees. Reasonable prices! We missed the live band this time, but excited to try it again soon! 🤗👍

Fun, great food (heavy on the seafood dishes), friendly staff and a little chaotic (in a good way). This is not a sleepy place! Would love to go when the mariachi bands are playing. Prices are moderate but the freshness and distinctive take on Mexican dishes is worth it.

I came here for a late lunch business meeting with another realtor and investor. There was plenty of space for us to get seated right away. The menu had a a lot to offer and noticeably a lot of seafood options. The food came out super fast, hot, beautifully plated, and delicious. I ordered steak sopes, my partners had shrimp tacos and steak tacos and enjoyed those as well. We ordered the queso for chips and that was tasty although it was very thick. Our waiter was awesome and I'd go there again or even gift to a client!

I had an outstanding experience at Los Grandes restaurant. The service exceeded my expectations, and the manager’s handling of a minor request showcased exceptional customer service. The diverse menu offered superbly tasty dishes, making it a delightful culinary experience. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The food reminds me of Mexico when i visit. Not the American version. The salsa has a little heat but i could drink it. The deep fried fish is probably my favorite.

We went to this place because we were actually looking for the old restaurant here JC sports bar. Soooo it was a surprise to see a mexican recording artist performing there. But from the minute we walked in we said this could be good since a lot of the workers didn't speak english. The place is huge! It could be like 3 resturants in one. Free parking a little hard to get to from the road.
They have 3 separate menus it seems ...large mexican menu...seafood....and sushi. Huge bar with lots of drinks. Portion sizes are great. Lots of tvs ...although we were here during g the Corona scare so there were no sports playing but there is like 35 tvs in here.
They have live entertainment on the weekends and security ...that could be good and bad depending on who you are. The bill for my wife and I for dinner drinks and tip was about 70 bucks. Check it out cool new spot.

yummy food and great service— lively music on Friday night. Honestly enjoyed every dish my wife and I ordered. I don’t know what those other negative reviews are on…,,possibly a bit of bias involved so don’t believe these negative reviews so come and eat here!

About pricing was really decent I saw a few security guys walking around all the time and that's a plus ......pricing was average I'll come back again soon to enjoy the food and live music

After El Loro, this would be the best Mexican food I have ever eaten! Nothing compared to the food here. So many seafood options and drinks with live music. I order their shrimps and they were AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS 🤤

Good atmosphere if you wanna enjoy a nice time out. Very relaxed atmosphere / friendly..

Everything was amazing. Music might be a little too loud for some. However, it is still great place to eat.
