Halal Tacos

My friend and I loveeeeee this place!!! We ordered the Carne Asada, Al Pastor, and the Birria tacos and they all tasted so good. The workers are so nice and the service is so quick. We love coming here even though we live far away to get the best tacos in Michigan !!!

My first time here and I would highly recommend!! Nice and delicious food. Tacos are filled with fresh and delicious ingredients. Very friendly staff and great service. Prices are reasonable for the amount. The loaded fries are very good.

I photographed a few of Alexander's dishes for Doordash today.
I also had the opportunity to enjoy the beef mountain nachos and the steak burrito. So good!!
After getting to know the owner Alexander, I learned that he was chef at the great Detroit Athletic Club and came in 7th place out of 200 contestants at the OUNCE national Barbecue competition. This annual competition hoss the likes of Sweet Baby Rays and and Famous Dave's Barbecue.
He is really talented in the kitchen.
He fuses authentic mexican ingredients with an American twist.
He chose to make it Halal (no pork) to satisfy the Muslim population in the area, but he attracts all folks from near and far. The portions are good too.
You need to check this place out. Your taste buds will be very happy.

Halal Tacos, believe it or not, is the best **Mexican** restaurant in the area.

Better than Xochimilco or Los Galanes in Mexican Town. Better than all the little mom and pop joints that dot along Ford Road. It does not look like much, but the food itself is the best.

Is it AUTHENTIC Mexican food? Hell no. But who wants to eat flavorless refried beans and bland rice for the sake of authenticity? Not me.

Probably best to start with the Chips and Salsa. The chips are homemade, and dusted with seasoning. The salsa is fresh, fine chunk style; with a delicious Smoky finish.

The Steak Enchiladas are serious business. Tender beef, cheese and sauce. Not a single piece of gristle in any of the beef. Spanish Rice that actually has flavor, and a "corn coleslaw" that packs a wallop.

Steak Burrito is excellent with a really interesting combination of flavors.

Loaded Fries are unexpectedly delicious.

Give this joint a try. It will change your opinion about Mexican inspired food.

First time eating halal tacos, so I was very excited. The server knew it was our first time so he recommended a few different options so we can try everything. The food was amazingly delicious and fresh. The place is small and quaint. Service was great. Definitely going back there on our next visit to Dearborn.

Currently eating my first meal from here and it’s awesome! I ordered Tacos Al Pastor. They were obviously freshly prepared as I waited a little while, but it was so worth it. The chicken is flavorful, the mango salsa is awesome, and their horchata is also pretty tasty! 100% will be going back to try the rest of their menu!

Had their Deluxe taco bar for me and my co workers on May 5 and everything was perfect. Customer service A++! Food was good and fresh! We were all very pleased with choosing Halal Tacos!!!

Kind and friendly service. Very pleasant employees. The gentleman that took care of us was impressive (I was a server for 25 years, so that's a pretty big compliment). Clean establishment. Reasonable prices. Absolutely the BEST chicken tacos I've ever had (had them on yellow corn tortillas). Highly recommend this restaurant. I will be returning, frequently 😁

Amazing customer service!! Great food. They were closing soon for the day and still gave me the best service. Most restaurants aren't offering that anymore.

Very delicious food, decent prices, and friendly staff. And it's halal - what now do you need? I had the specialty steak taco and my wife has the steak smothered burrito. They were both very good, but I liked the smothered burrito better. My son had the steak nachos. Yum

My first time here. I had chicken crunchy tacos, fajita shrimp burrito and its the best burrito I have ever tasted. And the guy Ali is superb. I hope to come again soon.

Delicious! Everything is fresh here. Ordered the chicken quesadillas, which really were exceptional. Chicken was shredded and had a smoky flavor to it, with just the right amount of cheese and spices. Beef burrito was great too with a different all-in-one type taste to it. And they put far more thought into the tortilla salad bowl than imagined. Ordered cinnamon churros for dessert and even these were outstanding! The chef and staff really put their thought and passion into these dishes. I’ll be back here soon!

I haven’t had this place in a real long time and came back today and I couldn’t be more happy. Food was delicious, and came out fast at an amazing price. Not only that, Ali at the counter had an amazing attitude and to be honest that was probably the best part. Wouldn’t change a thing. Look forward to coming back soon

Ali's customer service was AWESOME he recommended what to try on the menu and he was absolutely right. It was my first time. I will definitely be back.

What can I can other than truly an outstanding meal. Was craving something different soni stopped in Halal Tacos and in sure glad I stopped. Good did take a minute to cook, but all good things are worth the wait. Will be back!

Great staff and truly delicious food, highly recommend it. I am definitely coming back. I really enjoyed the Fajita chicken platter.
