Amigo's Mexican Restaurant

I found this place to be quite the bang for your buck.

On Wednesdays, they have wet burrito dinners for $9.95. Not a bad deal at all. They are quite large and served with beans and rice.

They hook you up on the chips and sauce as well. They bring out such a large basket of corn chips that you could just fill up on that alone. The hot sauce is thick with a strong taste of cumin. It is served at room temperature and is quite spicy.

The service is exceptionally prompt. You don't have to wait around for refills or flag down workers. Right as I was done finishing my water, the waitress was already bringing me another one.

The location is kind of tucked away behind other businesses. So the place really doesn't jump out at you when driving by. Despite that, the place was quite crowded.

Overall, while this place isn't particularly high end, the prices are very reasonable and the service is exceptional.

We stopped in on a whim and were met with a pleasant atmosphere, courteous staff, and delicious food! The food is scratch-made in house and the owners clearly have pride in their restaurant.

Amigos offers specials Mon - Thu including their combo deluxe which is one of the meals we ordered. 🙂

Edited : We went back twice since writing this review and it was just as good on those return visits - not a fluke, just a great restaurant.

My families favorite Mexican restaurant. Even my picky eating kid loves the tacos here. For years we have been coming. Never an issue and always amazing food.

First time here. Salsa was yummy. Food was pretty good. Will return.

The combination deluxe meal you get on Wednesday is enough for two or if you're real hungry good for one or take it home it's all good

Recommend! Good restaurant with very friendly and wonderful service. Small restaurant with a shared lot with other businesses but manageable to get to and from. Seems like a local favourite as I’ve heard them referenced by many people I’ve talked to downriver when in the area so decided to stop in and very pleased. Try them out

This is a good Mexican restaurant, I don't mind go there all the time, the Ford is very good, Nacho chips is great. I have been going to this restaurant for years you won't be disappointed.

This is a little dive restaurant that I would have never thought of going into. It is great. Even though we don't live in the area, we go when we are around it.

Fast and friendly service. Had the lunch chicken enchiladas. Total with sour cream and jalapenos was under $10. Salsa was good also. Offer you hot and mild.

I was expecting just Mexican food as we have about 3 or 4 Mexican restaurants in our little town. Being from over 650 miles from home we chose this restaurant and don’t regret anything. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. The food was very flavorful and delicious. The serving size was more than you would expect from the prices. Overall I would recommend and eat here again!

This has been one of my favorite restaurants since I was a kid. The food is always hot and fresh. The wait staff is always friendly and personable, treating you like family rather than just another table. They have most of the usual Tex-Mex options but with their own little spin on the recipes.

The amount of people ordering takeout and the full restaurant is a testament to their delicious meals. The food is hot, fulfilling, and taste great. It's not fancy, but the quality and quantity of the food make up for it. Wish they didn't close at 7 pm. No complaints only compliments.

So I love their food. It is not your typical, super spicy Mexican, but my bland belly can't handle that anyway. I have been coming here for at least 20 years (old location on Allen, then Eureka and have never had a bad meal. If u want authentic, go Downtown.

Great food. They don't stay open long tho. Close at 7 every day. Thurs Mexican pizzas are half off and they are awesome!

Food was excellent. Our waitress Penny was awesome. Will definitely be back.
