Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant- Troy

The food was good I had spaghetti and meatballs and a lot of the rest of the table had gnocchi. It was weird that all of the pasta dishes had peas in them lol. Our server was great and really took care of us. We went for my friends birthday and she brought out truffles and candles and even offered to take our photo later in the evening. Even though it was a Saturday night and really busy, we still felt like we could hear ourselves and enjoyed the time together.

To put it simple, you need to eat here. Cooper’s Hawk was such a great experience for my wife and I. She has a gluten allergy, but without hesitation, this was probably the most secure we’ve felt going out to eat. The staff was extremely accommodating and our waiter, Paul K., knew the menu like the back of his hand. He spoke in detail about numerous items on the menu, making good recommendations that spoke to our palates. I ordered the pretzel crusted pork chops and I’d order them again 1000 times over. Phenomenal. The sauce tied everything together and complimented the potatoes and broccoli. What a perfect plate of food. My wife got the braised short rib risotto and they were so flavorful. Of course, it was gluten free and indicated as such on a dedicated gluten free menu. She actually had a hard time deciding because she wasn’t used to having so many options, but she’s glad with what she got. The flavor was perfect. We shared a flourless chocolate torte for dessert and we inhaled it. Delicious.

We went for our anniversary which we noted on our reservation, and the staff came through. A couple of people wished us happy anniversary and we received complimentary champagne - what a phenomenal service.

We’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful experience dining here for date night! On a busy Saturday they were still able to get us in, and we sat by the bar. It was an intimate setting and our waitress was super nice. We loved everything we tried, from the bacon cheese plate to the spaghetti with homemade meatballs. My favorite were the Southwestern egg rolls! The wine selection is off the charts, with so many options depending on what you are in the mood for. I loved the ones I sampled and can’t wait to try more next time. They also have a wine shop where you can buy a bottle of wine and also do a tasting at the wine tasting bar. I think this is a great idea if you’re waiting for your table, you can incorporate a tasting as well. We will definitely be back, especially for a special occasion or just a date night.

An unforgettable dining experience at Cooper’s Hawk! The staff exuded warmth and professionalism from the moment we stepped through the door, making us feel right at home. The fillet mignon was cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor, paired perfectly with their exquisite selection of wines. The ambiance was charming, and every detail, from the presentation to the service, was impeccable. A definite must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a culinary delight! Cooper’s Hawk in Troy is one of my favourite places to eat in Detroit area.

I went here for a late birthday dinner and I was amazed at the quality. I have been to copper hawks out of state and this one measured up and above. I loved the bar area at the front and the bar maids were so kind. The girl with the two braided ponytails service was top tier I’m going to find her name. The food was good but that desert was bombbbbb digitty! I’ll be back and maybe a soon wine club member

First time going here and the experience was well worth it. Definitely more on the expensive side but the egg rolls and wine selection was fantastic. Tried a couple desert wines as well and they were delicious. The service was top notch all around! Everyone was extremely friendly and on top of things!

It was my first time tonight at Coopers Hawk with a friend and we had an amazing experience! Our server Jacob was very knowledgeable and attentive and made sure we loved everything that we ordered and had great recommendations. We tried the wine flights and ordered the salad and flatbread combination which were great portions and also ordered the chocolate cake. Everything was amazing! Can’t wait to come back!

You have to make reservations here, or you will not get in. Sat at the high tops in the bar, which was just as accommodating as anything else. Service was amazing. Thank you Haley! Wide selection of wines and liquors. The menu, you will not have a problem finding anything that you will like. We were waited on so fast food was very good.

The wine tasting was wonderful! I really enjoyed my choices for the tasting. Then, dinner ... chicken picata(if I'm spelling it correctly) was very good. Very flavorful. I look forward to tasting other dishes as my group tasted each other's dishes. Our server was very knowledgeable about the dishes. I liked that a lot. She was very kind and attentive. I'm so sorry I didn't take down the names of both young ladies from the wine tasting or dinner.

My husband and I had a lovely lunch at the Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant. Our server, Jacob was knowledgeable, attentive and had a great sense of humour. Which added an element of fun to our experience. We were impressed with the easy system in place to select their recommendations for wine pairings.

We had the drunken shrimp for appetizer, which we loved. I had the buttermilk chicken sandwich (pictured) and my husband had the pork chop off the lunch menu). Everything we had was really good. And we enjoyed the wine so much that we left with three bottles!

If you’re having a hard time deciding where to eat, look no further!

Excellent experience for my first time. Drunken Shrimp appetizer was above average and the pretzel bread was different. The Scallops Gratin, however..... Oh baby! I wish I had surf & surf, as I would have gotten two of these instead of the delicious pork chop.

Wine tasting is a must here. The wine is so good, I joined Coopers Hawk wine club. The food is amazing and the portions are generous. Very friendly staff, they go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful experience…. Shout out to Nick Christy and his team. We absolutely love this place.

I love coopers hawk in troy Michigan!! I drive an hr to eat here on occasion and its worth it!! The service is always good and the food is on point!! I also LOOVE their red romance wine, its my favorite. I ordered the veggie enchiladas and my date ordered the chicken sandwich!!

We were a group of Women looking for Reservations at the last minute and they were able to accommodate 8 of us. Our Waitress was Piper and she was an excellent host. She helped us with recommendations and walked us through everything as it was our 1st time dining with Coopers Hawk!! We had such a good time. We were there for a while too and Piper showed so much patience. The food was immaculate. The wine experience was great as well. I'm already looking forward to the next time I'm able to dine it.

This was my first time at this location. You will never be disappointed with Cooper’s Hawk. I go often to the one back home, that I even joined their wine club. There’s plenty of parking spots, the restaurant is fully and professionally staffed. The restaurant is well maintained. Great atmosphere to come with your family and friends. Food is delicious and well portion. Wine is always a thumbs up!! Dylan S. was our waiter he was excellent and gave us real great suggestions.

Bianca is a fantastical event coordinator. Her and Jackie made sure our wine tasting was the most amazing experience I have ever had. I refuse to dine here if Bianca and Jackie are not present. The wine was exceptional, and it made me feel like I was in a vineyard in Italy. I will recommend this establishment to everyone I know, and I will definitely be back. Bianca and Jackie should be employee of the month, year, or even century. 11/10

Ate here with friends Sunday evening and truly enjoyed ourselves. Did the wine tasting at the beginning before our reservation and I highly recommend it. Our server at dinner was amazing. She brought our waters right out with the lemons. Took our app and drink orders quickly and they came out within a reasonable time. And they tasted soooo good!!! I started with the drunken shrimp then got the Thai lettuce wraps. I highly, highly recommend them. I plan on coming back on a date night with my husband sometime soon.

I absolutely enjoyed the food, wine, and atmosphere. The staff were friendly and our server had the biggest smile and recommended our entrees. Which were seafood gumbo, and the barbecue chicken salad. Both choices were very good including the bread. Now, we had to wait, about 25 minutes, but we understood why. It was on a Saturday afternoon without reservations. The wine tasting was quite enjoyable. Every wine we tasted we ended up walking out with a (3) bottle. A great place to visit, taste wine, and dine.

Great food, especially the sandwiches! The vibe here is very calming, in part due to the winery attached.
