Camino Real Mexican Grill

I stopped here with my family after they picked us up from the airport, returning from Egypt. I was looking for something good to eat since we were gone for about 14 days in total, and there for sure was no Mexican food out there like they make it out here, if any at all! Lol.. I was happy to get some when we got back, though! The food and service was great. Luckily, when we went, it wasn't too busy either, so we were able to get in and out.

They are a perfect Mexican restaurant, they sang happy birthday to me using a lot of things to make me feel special, a great place to have lunch with family or just friends. We had the nicest server, such a nice and attentive guy.

I've been here a good handful of times and not once have I had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and very attentive and the food is great! We just left from there today, (my boyfriend and I), and we had a waiter whose name is Ricky T. He was awesome!! Will most definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

I had the Chimichanga Dinner at Camino's. It was pretty good. It comes with 2 plentiful crispy Chicken Chimichangas topped with creamy jalapeno bits cheese sauce
and served with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. I give 4 3/4 Stars.

This place was great! I had a shredded chicken torta with a side of fries. My wife had the burrito combination with a side of fries, and my son had the taco dinner corn also with a side of fries. All of the food was delicious! The bread for the torta was incredibly soft and the shredded chicken was perfect. The beef in the tacos was well seasoned and the quesadilla was perfectly melty.

The service was amazing! Everyone was nice and welcoming and we were seated and served immediately. We will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this restaurant to all!

The strawberry mango margarita tower was super yummy; said it served 8 glasses. Between 3 adults we finished it very quickly. Our server Lesli was very attentive, knew the menu, and super friendly. She deserves a raise. Food came out extremely fast and hot. Guacamole was authentic and fresh. Chips and salsa were delicious. The Enchiladas with the verde sauce was so good! Queso dish could use a little salt but over all fantastic experience. First time here; I definitely will be back!

I've been here many times. Great food. Tried something different this time. Got a small Bontana and if was very good and huge! Brought most of it home. The guacamole was extra good last night too. The place was packed so food took a little longer. Still a good night out

Recommend! Good food, good service. Have visited restaurant randomly throughout last five years when in downriver area but more so recently as other Mexican restaurants in the area have gone downhill in quality/service , but Camino Real has kept the same consistency. Whenever visiting/ordering we are always met with same quality of product/speed of service. Recommend trying them out and their variety in menu items.

First visit tonight! Some of these reviews are rough but we had a great experience! We had a super good server “Andy” would ask for him anytime. He was very attentive, very helpful, very kind and just all around pleasant. Prices are not cheap but I would say they are average comparatively especially in this economy. The food was really good and I’m super fussy. I had the green enchiladas and they were flavorful and not at all dry.The shredded Chicken was chicken breast and that’s all I eat so it was perfect . They accommodated my eating habits by leaving things off tomatoes and giving me double rice. The portion size of the dinners where large. I could eat off my meal 3 times. Salsa cups are kind of small but they happily brought me a refill. Tortillas where fresh and not store bought. We will be back and I’m hoping that our experience is the usual and that the nasty reviews are just dramatic. Based on tonight I wish we would have checked them out sooner.

I have dined in on multiple occasions with a friend as local customers. Each time that we have met for dinner here, we have specifically commented on the exceptional customer service. All of the staff and servers are attentive, engaging, approachable, and authentic in style. They are quick to address any needs and do so with focus and friendly approach.

The food is outstanding; colorful and flavorful. I am not sure how they prepare it so rapidly and still present it so beautifully and deliciously!

We recently had my daughter’s “Sprinkle Party” at Camino Real. It was above and beyond our expectations!!!! From start to finish EVERYONE went out of their way for us all! Delicious food, fantastic staff, greatttt drinks and spot on with everything!!! We all got our food together which was beyond me….. and the staff made sure each and every person was taken care of every moment! We thank you all and will highly recommend you from now on. It’s hard to find anyplace lately that can go out of the way to make 25 people have so much fun and not 1 issue!!!! Thank you all so very much!

My first visit was tonight, and I cannot stress enough how much I enjoyed every bite. Everyone in my party said this was the best Mexican restaurant they've ever been to downriver, and I couldn't agree more. Jocelin was our server; she was very polite and attentive. Give this place a try. It. Is. So. Good.

Late night, staff was wonderful, warm and friendly. The dinner was wonderfully perpared tasted good. My grandpbaby laughed her new teeth till they rattled at the staff. Thank you for wonderful service

No complaints with this place so far. I've only had their drinks, chips and salsa, and their ceviche. So the sample size I have of this place is not too high. But everything I've had from this place so far has been pretty good. Their pina colada was great and the Mai Tai was alright.

One attribute worth noting of this place is the cleanliness. They seemed to have gone the extra mile during the pandemic, which certainly adds to the comfort.

Overall, pretty nice place.

My family were at your restaurant and brought me a takeout order. The Mexican sandwich & flan. Well it was delicious! The Mexican sandwich was made perfect & the flan was out of this world! Kudos to your chef's!!! 😋

Dinner was excellent, Friday at 6pm no wait. Our waitress Erica was prompt and attentive. Chimichangas could of had more cheese on top but overall food was great. I will definitely be back, I highly recommend.

Chips and salsa a big hit with my kids! Food was good. Steak fajitas and taco combination plate. Pretty good!

We have always loved this restaurant but today we had the pleasure of enjoying candy shooter shots and they were amazing! The watermelon one was my favorite, followed closely by the mango. The drink has tequila but is sweet without being overpowering and goes down smoothly. It was the perfect addition to our Mexican dinner.
