I wish I could give our server 10 stars! Deanna was amazing, personable, attentive, and very aware of her customers. She would be in the middle of a sentence with us, stop, and say, "Be right back, I just heard the cook place a plate in the window, need to get it out to my table." What !?!?! I could barely hear myself talk, let alone have superhuman hearing, and know when a plate was set down...LOLOL!
The food was awesome, the place is looking great now that they have been redecorating from the previous ownership, and I am happy to have DRC closer to me now!
Had one of the breakfast specials and if you like meat, this one is for you!

Enjoyed the vibe and food also like how the customers and the staff make you feel like you been coming there forever. Food is worth the price is now my new favorite spot for food will be back for the homemade chicken lemon soup.

We love coming to Downriver Coney! The food rocks and we love all the employees! We come to eat quite often. The prices are great for the excellent food! Will continue to eat here and highly recommend it!

The staff here was very accommodating to my wife who was involved in a car accident. They fed her and kept an eye on her until I arrived to pick her up. We are forever grateful!

I got the turkey sandwich with gravy and potatoes with gravy and vegetables, house salad before the meal.

Only thing a little off was the vegetables but didn't tell them. They were a little cold but the meal was very hot so that made up for it. I do think the food is good, I was gonna get the polka kielbasa if I wasn't going to get the turkey. I like how they do the turkey sandwich though. It's good Yankee comfort food I'd say. It's a long time diner you can tell.

Still my favorite greek salad hands down! Club sandwich with fresh cut turkey & slim jim type with fresh ham, both hard to pass up. Give this local restaurant a try if you haven't.
Great food & service

Remember when it was Johnson's restaurant. It is still good just with a different vibe. Ordered the breakfast special for 5.99, yet it was 11:30 a.m. Gave the #1 for 7.99. So next time I will get there before 11:30.

Eggs and ham breakfast. Comes with toast and hash browns. Excellent way to start the morning. Go see Brittany and Alicia smile. You'll be glad you did. 😃

First of all, VERY clean restaurant. The food was very flavorful and came up fast. The portions were massive for your money. The staff was very friendly, and willing to go above and beyond. My wife is a picky eater, and the waitress came back a few times to make sure her hash-browns were cooked to her liking.

Will definitely be back again.

Beefsteak tomatoes instead of their delicious potatoes is one of my healthy choices I sometimes make. Bacon is crisp and thin, not overly cooked. Wonderful service on top of it!!!!!!

I can get a good sized burger and a great portion of fries for five bucks. I love it. The food tastes good, and the service is really good too. Good place to take the family for a cheap dinner. It is also clean, if that is a concern.

I absolutely love this place even when it was on Eureka and Trenton! Everything on the menu is wonderful, they even got Polish food!!! The people there are very friendly and do their jobs efficiently with a smile!!! Love that place!!! ❤❤❤
