I’m writing this review so the next person who comes across this business looking for insight on if she is reputable tax preparer is warned and spared the agony of using Susan Knox’s Tax Services. I chose her tax service in February of 2021 based on the best reviews I could find in the south metro. Clearly the reviews I found didn’t match my experience.

My husband and I used her to help file our 2020 taxes due to the complexity of Covid issues and welcoming our daughter into the world as first time parents. Here we are almost 14 months later and it’s still an absolute disaster now even rolling into our 2021 taxes. It took us majority of 2021 just to get our taxes filed and accepted. They were rejected multiple times and had to be amended multiple times because she had her assistants do all the work without looking at them and she filed them incorrectly. Then as we tried to inquire with Susan about the mistake to correct them, she would have her assistants screen her calls and dodge our questions to the point we had to physically come in where she couldn’t avoid us. After proving our case she finally agreed to amend them, they were still incorrect but luckily the IRS made the correct fixes after rejections and 9 months of back and forth because of her negligence. She not only didn’t do our taxes correctly but then tried to avoid us and lied to us multiple times. Please beware of this nightmare and find some

The secretary/receptionist is rude banging the phone at the end of my call. I was looking for a new tax preparer closer to where I live but I’d rather drive several miles than being treated so rudely by the receptionist. Unfortunate for the tax preparer to have rude office staff!
