Manuel's Taco Hut

Absolutely delicious!! One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Michigan! I mostly order the combination 7a, because of the selection. Tostadas are the best!! Chips are very good, but the salsa is more of a sauce, but still yummy!! Small and cozy, fast and friendly service.

Manuel's taco hut is 1 of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the downriver area! Very good prices, with large portions of food. My personal favorite is their Mexican sandwich! Chunky beef, chicken, or ground beef, AND THEIR ENCHILADAS ARE AWESOME! Tamales are great! During Halloween time they really go out of their way to decorate and make dining in a fun experience! I definitely rank them in the top 5 Mexican restaurants around!

So this place is definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants around town. I'm a couple of the major holidays Halloween and Christmas. They decorate almost 100% of the space on the walls and ceiling. Definitely something to see. We went during the Halloween of 2022 and they did not do it because of staff but check back for Christmas and later. I'm sure they'll be back to doing it again. Anyway, long story short definitely a great Mexican restaurant will be back as we have been several times

Very happy with the food, I had the Botana and my Mom had a tostada and a taco. Only complaint was salsa, it was like tomato paste. The staff was friendly. Service was fast. Nice, clean dining area. Will definitely be going back soon!

I love this place so much! I go pretty frequently these days as it's close to work. Always fast. Always yummy. Their Halloween set up is amazing!

Authentic Mexican Cuisine that deserves respecto from the Southwest. The presentation is slightly different than Sonoran Southwest although the flavors pop and give you that home soul comfort you look for in every dish. Detroit has many legit eateries and Manuel's Taco Hut in Allen Park deserves a return visit.

I haven't eaten at this place in a long time. I heard they have a kat name Charlie working there. He is a good dude. I will be trying it again soon

Food is always good and the staff are always friendly. We have been going here for years! Come at Halloween or Christmas for the best ambiance!

We started out with the mini botana with chicken. The botana was beautifully delicious, especially with the avocado and fix ins. I ordered the 7a combo and everything on the plates was perfect! My wife ordered the chorizo burrito with the beans and rice. She absolutely loved the burrito. She loved it so much I had to get her more for work tomorrow. And of course the beans and rice. I love Manuel's beans and rice, they just give that 1 - 2 combo every Mexican dish needs. All that said, if you like Mexican food then you have got to give Manuel's a try. Thank me later.

This place is an allen park favorite.

My preferred dish is the chimmy chonga, its a must.

Is this the most amazing Mexican food you will eat in your life? Nope.
Is it still delicious? Yep!
Is it a great value? Heck yeah!
I had to look at my bill 2x to make sure there wasn't a mistake. The food was good, the service was great, and the price was fantastic!
Our server knew the menu well, made great recommendations, and was very attentive.
The portions were generous, and the food was fresh.
Did I mention how great the prices were?!

Their food is always delicious and good portioned, especially their burrito deluxe dinner. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait but that is when it is super busy. Overall great place to go to.

I’ve eaten here many times over the years , though mostly takeout. Food is consistently good. They only messed up my takeout order once, accidentally swapping my pint of rice for hot sauce. But other than that, it’s been great.
They usually decorate the inside for Halloween and Christmas and do a great job. Since Covid hit, not sure they still do that.
Parking can sometimes get difficult around dinner times.

If you are into authenticity and quality of food this is your spot. The inside hasn’t been updated in years but it is clean. This isn’t an issue for me as I can tell they take cleaning procedures seriously. Food was delicious and service top tier. My new go to for authentic Mexican food.

Great Mexican food without the drive to Detroit! Super friendly wait staff! Definitely will be back.

I love manuels! Everything they have to offer tastes great. I drive 20 minutes now just to pick it up for dinner, and it's so worth it. Not bad for dining in either. I highly recommend if you're feeling like having mexican!
