Beautiful place. Get the fresh air from the beautiful lake and relax and enjoy the listening of water waves.

Nice place to stop as you travel up the North Shore. Nice parking with tunnel access to the shore. Bathrooms were clean.

Impressive boat harbor! Safe parking across the highway via tunnel with restrooms. On a windy day, the best part is watching the kids getting wet as the waves break!

The views are spectacular, especially with good binoculars.

There are a couple benches to use, and a gazebo with site information. It was impressively clean when I visited this fall, too. What a great place to people-watch and stretch your legs! My dog also loved it.

Please pick up after your dogs and use the trash facilities to keep this winning site pristine.

Beautiful beach , small, less crowded. And the scenic drive route is amazing.

This place is amazing. The changes they have made here over the past four years are very good. If you don't stop on your way to Two Harbors your missing out.

I love it here! So clean and peaceful with beautiful sceneries. The lake is so clear, something I've always wanted to see. Reminded me of the ocean. Nice fishing areas, little shelter available, beautiful boat loading dock and great place to take pictures.

Take the North shore scenic drive to reach this place. It's beautiful out there. Parking is available on the opposite side and there is a small tunnel to cross the road. Clean public restrooms are also available.

Came from NJ to race the North Shore Inline Marathon. We did a short ride from this area. Beautiful place

A beautiful spot on the lakeside with an amazing view of Lake Superior. Parking is located on the other side of the road and connected via a under road tunnel. Highly recommended.

Such a beautiful view. It rained on us but it was still worth it. Park in the overflow lot (right lot) to quickly get to the tunnel to cross over to the walking area.

Wooooowwwwwwwww... What a place man... Chanceless... My recent trip to Duluth was like O....M....G.... this place was a rare find... We went on a morning drive along the lake superior and found this exceptional spot... We parked our car at a place opposite to this site and went close to the river through a subway... God.
.. the sun was rising the river was like a ocean with mid level waves crashing along the coast... There was this Gazebo in which we spent some quality time... Overall I am spellbound to express this place in words... One of a kind experience on my first trip to Duluth, Minnesota.

Pretty interesting, I wish they had more historical information posted, but other than that, was a pretty cool spot. Even got a picture of the lift bridge from there.

Excellent toilet facilities.
Almost always clean & well stocked.
Nice sized handicapped accessible toilet stall with changing table.
Well lit interior with adequate heating & ventilation.
Throne is precisely the right height to accommodate 95% of the human population.

10/10 would poop here again.

This is a quick stop for an amazing view!

We love stopping here to climb on the rocks. They have good parking and bathrooms across the street.

This is a great place to stop and walk around along the North Shore of Lake Superior.

You can access the lakeside from the parking lot by going through a tunnel so you don't have to worry about dealing with the traffic on the road.

It is a nice and peaceful place to sit by the lakeside and relax. It would also be a good spot for a picnic or just t hang out with the family or friends and play some games too.

Legendary birding location 10/10 recommend. Ocassional residence of Phainopeplas.
