My friends and I recently had an exceptional dining experience at Jessica's Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. We started with a variety of appetizers, including octopus, mussels, fried burrata, and meatballs, each one more delicious than the last. The wild mushroom soup—it's a must-try and undoubtedly one of the best we've ever had! As for the main courses, they were the true stars of the show. From the perfectly cooked Chilean sea bass to the flavorful seafood pasta and tender stuffed chicken, every dish exceeded our expectations. And of course, we couldn't leave without trying the desserts. We indulged in four delectable options, which perfectly rounded off our meal. I highly recommend Jessica's Restaurant for an unforgettable dining experience.

Absolutely amazing, authentic Italian food! We just came back from Italy 2 months ago and the number one thing we knew we would miss was the food. The food in Italy is so fresh and flavorful! Having dinner at Jessica's Cafe was an authentic trip to the table, to enjoy Italian food right here in NJ! I am looking forward to my next visit!

Amazing service!

The atmosphere was a welcoming small Italian kitchen feel with a dining room with warm lighting! They also have a nice back patio if you prefer to sit outside.

I ordered a a Classic Caesar Salad with the 8oz strip steak on top. The salad was so flavorful and one of the best I’ve had in a long time! The steak was cooked medium rare and cooked to perfection!

I will definitely be returning!

I was excited to see Jessica's Cafe listed.
I've driven past it so many times.
The following weekend my husband and I drove to Jessica's Cafe and we were turned away because we didn't have reservations.
Went online to make reservations and it's extremely booked!
Finally able to get reservations for dinner in the "heated tent outdoors".
Our Server Jonathan was great!
Attentive, courteous and checked in throughout the dining experience!
Food was delicious!
I had the salmon.
The table in front of use ordered the pasta and it was so aromatic!
I plan to come back and order the pasta!
We had a leisurely dinner.
It's BYOB- "bring your own bottle" of alcohol.
Parking lot available.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The food was incredible, and the staff/service were unbeatable. My friends and I split the octopus to start which was so tender and delicious. I ordered the branzino which was really good, and one of my friends ordered the 10oz short rib. When she had a bite of mine she asked if we could switch because she decided she wanted that instead so I took her plate and am so happy I did! The short rib was super tender and delicious and she loved the branzino. After we split the apricot bread pudding and that was phenomenal as well. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more!

A smaller, unassuming restaurant hidden in Plainfield is the home of some of the most delicious food I’ve had in a long time. We were fortunate to grab the last parking space there. We were promptly seated with our reservation, and we sought to try the fried Burrata, market salad, salmon, and Margherita pizza. My favorites of the night were the market salad and the Margherita pizza, both of which I believe to have a great flavor. Service was attentive and very quick, and the bathroom was nice and clean. Dessert was delicious as well, I would recommend the apricot bread pudding, which was a smashing hit. All in all, a terrific experience that I would recommend for anyone who is a self-proclaimed foodie.

Everything we ordered was delicious, service was great, and chef/owner came to check on us afterward to ensure we enjoyed everything. We went for an anniversary dinner, and have been back about a dozen times since. DO NOT miss the wild mushroom soup - it's a total game changer!

Friendly, attentive service, along with an eclectic menu. All of the dishes we ordered were absolutely delicious. Will be back!

Stopped in for late lunch on the way from airport to hotel. Although we arrived near closing time, the service and food were very good. Ordered the prosciutto, fig and mozzarella sandwich and a margarita pizza. Everything was good and the coffee was amazing. It’s not from an urn or a carafe or a pod maker. They make each one separately so it’s more like an Americano. excellent.

Gotta say I've been hearing great things about this place for a while. Finally went last week and I still cannot stop thinking about it. The food was INCREDIBLE! Top notch chef at this restaurant. I can't wait to go back. Only advice I have is definitely make a reservation because it gets packed.

We started off with some appetizers. We had White mussels, Arancini (risotto), Jumbo Lump Crab Meat and meatballs. They were all delicious. The Branzino was very flavorful, 😋, and the Ribeye was perfectly cooked and juicy. For dessert, we had the apricot bread pudding. The pudding was so good!

Absolutely amazingly flavorful and delicious menu. We are so pleasantly surprised that there is such quality cuisine available close by. If you want to dry delicate and flavorful dishes influenced by French cuisine and don’t need a kilo of pasta in your plate, definitely, this is definitely worth the price.My only hope and comment is regarding the location. I don’t love the location, but keep going back because the food is excellent. I hope that they would consider changing the location or at least expanding the dining room and back yard as well. Looking forward to our next visit!

This place has been recommended to me many times by friends and family. I had high expectations and they went above and beyond what I expected. I will definitely be coming back.

I ordered the pumpkin ravioli and it was so delicious!!! The staff was great, so attentive and polite! Will definitely go back!

Nicely decorated, charming and relaxed. And it’s BYOB! I think this is our new favorite spot.

Meatball ricotta pizza: it’s very good but I think the other things we ordered were more unique to Jessica’s Cafe and I would rather save stomach space to try their other items.

Shrimp rigatoni: YES YES YES. My favorite of the night.

Milk-fed pork chop: massive portion and super tender meat. Cooked perfectly.

Apricot bread pudding: A perfect savory-sweet balance for dessert.

A few previous reviews complained that portions were too small but I was pleasantly surprised to see a nice, hearty portion. Maybe they listened to reviews and made a change.

I love eating here! It is a taste of fine dining in an unexpected little space. The Short Rib Papardelle is amazing, the Creme Brûlée is fantastic and the appetizer mussel dish is just WOW! Give it a go, you'll truly enjoy the experience!

I kid you not, this is my favorite restaurant ever. I've eaten all over the world and nothing has been as delicious as the food here. I love it. I can't wait for their new location. Also, the staff are amazing there.

Don't be fooled by its cover. Outdoor dining is as challenging as anywhere else with converted parking spaces right off a main roadway. Road noise is the new normal. This establishment is so busy keeping clients satisfied that they probsbly haven't the time to repave the dining lot. Excellent service and food more than make up for these minor issues.
We could see that this place is vary popular among locals. Shrimp stuffed crepe was astounding. Salmon dish was cooked to perfection and creatively garnished. Watermelon Salad is a surprisingly good blend of pear, arugula, vinaigrette dressing around the melon cubes. Scallop barley dish was very filling and tasty. Desserts are fine dining presentations at a fair price. Definitely a big plus upgrade for the neighborhood from the former ice-cream parlor. Great place to take some friends, or celebrate a special occasion. BYOB. Full 3 courses plus dessert, for 2, $125. includung gatuity. Easy off/on Terrill Rd.
