ShopRite of Watchung

Love the savings I get here at ShopRite. It’s close and convenient. It’s easy to find everything I’m looking for. I never have to wait too long in line. Thumbs up for me.

It has everything one need. A straight competitor to many shopping chains in the US. Go for their loyalty membership as you can avail points for future discounts.
The quality of vegetables is top-class. They really look fresh and better than any others out there.

The other day, I went to ShopRite and met an employee, Donato. There was an issue with one of the machines, and Donato was kind, professional, and truly thoughtful. If it were up to me, I'd promote him as fast as possible—he is a model employee. ShopRite has some great workers!

It was still loaded with fresh products at the time I came in and the service was nice

My daughter was having a baby shower at the Sky Top Picnic Area in the Watchung Reservation and we needed some additional supplies. I went to the ShopRite and they had 16 lbs. of Basket and Bowl Ice which was way better quality than the Artic Ice Brand typically available at fuel stations and 7-Eleven stores. We also needed some additional Sterno cans and they had the same quality gel fuel budget brand that the dollar stores carry for the same price. The store boasts a huge self-checkout kiosk area and I was quickly in and out of the store and back to the event!

I had a great experience today with the butcher DEPT , they were very helpful and friendly , I ask for item was not at the shelf they make it ready in less 10 minutes and put a big smile on my family face

I love the store because it has good service and the people from the register talk do you they make you feel comfortable there

I had to stop for some Boost drinks for my grandfather and was very pleased at the ease of shopping I had here. The products were all very neatly faced and stocked. I got my product and made it to the check out line within 10 minutes of entering. The price was even cheaper than CVS where I had been getting previously.
I am grateful to see some stores still make the customer their number one priority!

Lot is parking and conveniently located.

I got up there about 10:30 a.m. and customer traffic was on the lighter side thank Lord God in Heaven. I was able to get an entire Thanksgiving meal and some extra stuff I needed for home quickly and easily. I even had time to say hello to my friend Maria the store manager.

My go to place when I'm in a hurry. It's cheaper than the World Class Shoprites for many of the same products but you won't find the more expansive selections.
BTW. Their bakery is really good.

I can’t thank this store enough for keeping my wallet safe until it was picked up! Replacing its contents would’ve been a nightmare, but Maria in customer service was very helpful and handled my concern immediately. Thank-you so much!!

Staff is very professional. The supermarket is always clean. It is easy to find items, plus some staff members like Dane know where every product is located in the store. Hector and Maria, the store managers are very professional and very fair. They keep this shoprite running smooth. The cashiers are courteous and remind me of any sales that have to do with the products I am purchasing. I don't live anywhere near here but will recommend to anyone in the Watchung or Plainfield area.

Although this is a really old store it's well stocked and the prices are much better than the Stop and Shop up the road. Besides, there's Michaels, Marshalls, Tuesday Morning and Dollar Tree in the same shopping center. Very convenient.
UPDATE 2022: unfortunately most of the stores I mentioned are gone because the landlord is difficult to work with. ShopRite is still very good, in spite of its age.

The store is a little smaller, but nice. I find everything I need. The store has self checkout which I used. A very nice, clean Shoprite for weekly shopping or just running in for a few things!

Cashier near shelf check out lane during the day outstanding and helpful. Really all the cashiers are very helpful. Customer service are on the most part are nice few act if we are bothering them. Overall llovr shop rite. Sometimes shelves are not filled bilut it ok

Lots of parking , lots of self check out and lots of help for self check out.
I go after work , no long lines so far. There is a real fish dept and pre cut cold cuts that I grab and go.

I don't shop here -- i come here about 3 times a month to use the water vending machine -- i show up around midnight and usually visit with the night crew. This water vending machine is great - always working and takes cards

Excellent location, loads of parking, very well stocked,.airways found everything I was looking for, no matter how uncommon!! Friendly staff who knows whee to find, even these uncommon, items!!

Upgrading my review. I have you say that this shop rite feels much cleaner than other places during covid. Keep up the good work!
