Quick and easy loop trail close to downtown. Either stick to the loop around the pond, or take a turn into the woods and loop back towards the pond. You're never very far from where you started, which is great for kids or those less sure about committing to a big walk. You never know what wildlife you may see! Depending on which way the wind is blowing, the trail can be a bit smelly. Parking is on a narrow dirt road.

Loved this walk around the pond. Was great for my 3-year old and I to have a pleasant hour or so. Haven't explored the longer trails yet, but looking forward to another visit to do so. It's so nice to have public spaces like this nearby!

Beautiful place to commune with nature! Trails are very nice but if you have a regular wheelchair it's a bit difficult. My son had to push me most of the time. Maybe I can someday get a motorized wheelchair. I really enjoyed being there. First time I have been out in months. Thank you Rochester, NH for providing such a lovely place.

Pickering Ponds are man made lagoons that have crystal clear waters and plenty of growth around the edge.

You can walk, jog, bike ride, walk your dog on several different easy paths or venture into the thicker woods trails. Walking one pond is an easy 15 minutes. Two ponds maybe 30 minutes. Side trails 45 minutes.

It is nature. Their is real beauty here. Some summer days, mosquitos are a pain. There is wildlife. I have seen a fox, deer, very large snapping turtle, grass snakes, and once a saw a bigger snake. (once in two years).

Best is early morning. You might enter some bird watchers. During the day, you will run into some families, dog walkers and joggers. I Don't go at night. You see signs of party people that come around at night.

I'm there 4 - 5 times a week, walking my dog.

Please pickup after your dog. Children use that trail. There are barrels at the opening. Bring a couple of supermarket bags with you to pickup and carry the poop until you get back to the barrels.

Fun running trails. 6 or 7 benches along the trails. We do 25-50 pushups at each bench to add more fun to our run.

The trails are easy and beautiful. You can decide to take more or less trails depending on how much you want to walk. Went down a trail that was completely different than expected and it was absolutely amazing.

Cute easy trail with a pond view. No elevation unless you go to one of the side longer trails, then there is a tiny bit. Bring bug spray.

Such a beautiful place to go walking or trail running. It is next to the water treatment facility so the closer you get to the fencing you kinda get a whiff of them "treating" the water but other than that, lots of flowers to block off the smell and lots of birds for bird watching. Nice and relaxing trail. Most people who bring their dogs do not pick up after them, please be careful if walking or running. Dog owners: PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG, IT'S YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!!!

Great place to walk. Grass road for the most part. Loop down by the golf course back up and around. Love taking my young dog. She loves the place. Clean too. People actually pick up after their dogs!

Maze of trails around ponds and river which should be part of water treatment plant or water regulation plan. Especially charming in the fall. Great for walks/runs all year round, pets friendly. Benches for sitting are spred around. Good birding site for water birds or birds of prey. It is not easy to find the turn from Pickering Road. Parking is tight and muddy after rainy days.
