This hospital is like a hidden gem in Covington. It's beautiful with greenery all around, and it has plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and helpful and they guide you to the right place.

Security? Well, you ring the bell, talk to a nurse, and tell her where you want to go and she opens the door for you. It is unlike any other place where you can just walk in. I like it.

My mother got transferred to this hospital from Federal Way and seems like the nurses are taking good care of her. I haven't seen the doctors around though.

My mom was here a few years back to recover from pneumonia while fighting cancer. All staff were quite friendly and she said she received great care.
My nephew had surgery here yesterday, and absolutely, everyone: reception, nurses, doctors, and cafeteria staff were so amazing, helping my sister stay calm and explaining everything to ease their nerves. Their compassion and professionalism are remarkable.

I'm writing this about 5 years too late, and for that, I apologize. In July of 2019, my wife was brought in by ambulance with a serious case of pneumonia. In the ER room, I was answering the Dr.'s questions, when a nurse said something about sepsis. She was transferred to a larger room, and suddenly someone called for a crash cart. About a dozen people rushed in and I beat feet into the hallway, where I broke down. I was blaming myself for what happened because I didn't get her to the ER earlier. Two nurses came up to me, comforted me and told me it was not my fault, they were taking good care of her. They had to use the cardiac paddles on her twice. After a couple of hours, she was stable enough to be transported by Intensive Care Unit ambulance. to St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma, which was better equipped to treat her. She was in intensive care for three days, and after a total of twenty-five days, she was released, and she made a full recovery.

I've read a lot of negative reviews on this site, and all I can say is, thank God for the ER staff of Covington Hospital. We are thankful for you every day.

I spent 4 days in the SCU. The staff was amazing. Every doctor and nurse was kind and made sure I understood what was going on with my care. They took time to answer all my questions. As much as I hope I never have to go back, if I do, I will know I can rest assured I will be well cared for.

My mom ended up here twice over a month long period; twice in the ER and a week-long admit. We were VERY pleased with how clean the hospital was, and her care was outstanding!! Even with her being a "spicy" dementia patient, they were gentle , kind and caring. My sister has now let her family know that this is the hospital she wants to go to if ever the need arises.

To the babies complaining how "rudely" they were treated, healthcare workers are humans too. I don't remember anyone being rude, if you're nice and polite, you'll be treated nicely and politely.
Thank you all healthcare workers, you guys are absolutely amazing here at Multicare. Most people don't realize how much s*** you guys go through. Yes it's your job and you're not doing it for free but I don't think money is enough for the work you guys do.

Went in this morning for some issues I had been having and was in triage less than a minute after checking in. Taken to a room and made comfortable soon after. The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable. I'm someone who doesn't like hospitals at all and does everything in my power to avoid them at all costs but the staff there took very good care of me during my time there and I'm very grateful.

After going to Auburn medical center to find out they had someone waiting since 4 PM and it was 11 PM when I had arrived I refuse treatment and went home for a while. As my symptoms got worse I knew I needed to go to another hospital and I found Covington hospital. When I tell you the wait time the staff everything about this facility was amazing. The level of care I received and attention to detail was amazing. And I really appreciate all the staff working so hard during this pandemic to make sure that I’m OK they were very friendly very pleasurable I would definitely tell anyone go here if you need to go see an ER doctor.

Everyone there has always been friendly professional and when my not so proper jokes and anecdotal stories come out, they always get a good laugh

I had a scheduled procedure. The check-in reception was easy, quick and there wasn't any extra waiting. They answered all of my questions and were very accomodating to my wife and I. The nurses were great and anticipated my needs. The nurses were very thorough. The procedure went as planned without complications. I felt taken care of and in trustworthy hands. Thanks!

My review is for the family birth center
We were hoping for a “natural” home-style birth but transferred our care here after being in labor for 40 hours. The staff were amazing, the midwives, Doctors and nurses were so warm and kind even though they had never met me before. The facility is immaculate and it has everything I wished I had had but didn’t during my labor. I can’t say enough about how amazing this birth center is. I was turned off from hospitals after a bad experience with my first baby, but this team has changed my mind. I have and will recommend it to all of my friends who are having children. Also the midwife NP Tina does woman’s health in addition to baby care and she is amazing, it’s so hard to find a good woman’s health care provider but she is the best I have ever been to. I truly can’t speak enough good about the l&d team. I hope they stay this wonderful even as the hospital grows and becomes busy, they are the best!! I highly recommend!

From the security guard, Sebastian, outside the ER who jumped my car, the health care staff, dietary, housekeeping, pharmacy, all were so kind and caring. I felt very well cared for. The best hospital stay ever. What a great team. Thanks to you all. I need to add to this review. While I was in hospital, a friend visited me every day. She can't walk much, but every day some one wheeled her to and from her car. I call that above and beyond.

Not sure why so many people complain of wait times. My kids and I have been going to the ER and doctors offices for more than 3 years because we waited 2 times at Auburn ER for more than 7 hours to be seen. We've always been in and out of Covington ER within 2 hours whether its for football injury, Mono, broken bone or severe asthma attack. The staff here is so friendly and easy to get along with. We will continue coming here.

I was admitted through the ER to the Telemetry floor for a 3-day stay. I am in the medical field and was very observant. Every caregiver I encountered was absolutely professional and skilled in their field. Also of note they were always cheerful and happy and appeared to enjoy their work. The facility was immaculate and set up very practically for patients and visitors. The care was above my expectations in this day of such challenges to health care. We are fortunate to have this state of the art facility in the Kent area.

Saw Dr. Sackman for a urological issue that I could not get properly diagnosed from Skagit Valley's Dr. Ho. Dr. Sackman was a day and night comparison to my previous urologist. He was very caring, understanding, and a great "bedside manner," which was refreshing and actually enjoyable to talk with about an uncomfortable/embarrassing issue. Very thorough and informative. What a blessing to have professionals who really care and provide top quality care! Thank you Dr. Sackman!

I hope they see this review!
I gave birth in the Covington birthing center and Michelle (redhead) and Misty they were beyond amazing! I truly felt like they cared about me, even on a personal level. All of my questions/concerns were answered, didn’t have to use the call light once. They were both constantly checking on me and baby. All the words of encouragement I received from these ladies were amazing. They are just simply amazing human beings. My husband and I and our little princess Sofia are beyond thankful and very pleased with our experience.
Thank you!
You will feel welcomed and cared for here 100%!

BIRTH CENTER: My experience on my delivery of my first child was amazing, the nurses are exceptional human beings: Heidi, Alison, Lori, Rhonda, they were one of a kind.
Every time I pass by, I experience very nice feelings.

I have been seeing the midwives at the Covington Multicare Women's Center and plan on delivering at the Multicare Hospital. So far, my care has been excellent. Tina and Jane are so nice and are quick to answer all my questions. They constantly make me and my baby feel super comfortable. I am new to the area and am so glad I chose them. I hear really good things about the new birthing suites and I plan on updating my review after my son is born.

This review is for the birth center. We can't say enough good things about our experience here. ALL the nurses and doctors we encountered were amazing and super friendly. I had a c-section and they did everything to make sure I was comfortable and supported. The birth center is self-contained, so you stay in your one room through the whole process - labor and delivery/pre-surgery, recovery, and post-partum. The surgical room is just down the hall in the same unit. Pediatricians from Covington Multicare clinic come see your baby. Very professional; very personal. They don't get the high volume of patients yet since the hospital is only a couple years old and they only do low-risk births, so they are very available and eager to help. There were only 3 mamas there when we were. Can't recommend enough!!
