I’ve been coming to this original pancake house since I was a kid, and it’s been great every single time. The service is great, and the pancakes are out of this world. I tried “the standard” breakfast platter this time around, and the eggs & home fries were delicious with their amazing side of bacon.

Don’t let the exterior or interior decor fool you. This place is always busy. Our wait was 25 minutes. They keep it moving along. People said Sundays are worse. Their pancakes are very tasty. The eggs were fresh and didn’t seem like they came from the box. My son enjoyed his pancakes. It is actually a pretty big plate for a kid size. The Omlette was very well stuffed. I can’t wait to return.

We loved it. The place is huge. We ordered pancakes, a Dutch baby and an omelette that came with pancakes.

The best place to go for breakfast! Our group ordered many different things and they were all delicious. The staff was pleasant, efficient and friendly. The banana pancakes are awesome. Order whipped cream on top. The skillet dish was great. The apple pancake is huge but awesome. The pancakes with fresh berries were amazing. Nice, cozy atmosphere as well. Great place!

The gluten free pancakes were a welcomed treat. The fresh blueberry syrup was a terrific surprise.

Extremely warm environment / atmosphere. Ever watch an old vintage movie where you see how the kind servers / waitresses treat the gentlemen to warm coffee and breakfast? Exact replica. The workers there are so generous; they check up on you to see if you need anything or want anything else. And not to mention how perfect the food is! I recommend the chocolate chip Pancakes with the whip cream and put syrup on top. Amazing isn't a strong enough word for how delicious the food is. The bacon? Cooked to the right crisp and savory. The sausage? Delectable. Also recommend their orange juice. You honestly cannot refuse a single item on their menu at this point if their breakfast is this amiable. Went there only one time, but you will notice that family's go there with their children / babies / toddlers. Everyone has a smile on their face, enjoying their time. And most incredible...

Even though I give this location a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I miss and loved the location that was in East Hanover more.

Haven’t been here in years. Was not disappointed. Ok maybe the prices. But well worth it. Hot and fresh and a lot of good. Must stop by in area….

My 1st time here and when I say I loved it I loved it! We were here early on Sunday for Mothers day just me and my hubby. I ordered the standard, sunny side up eggs, homefries, pancakes and coffee with a shot of vanilla. The waiter was very nice and attentive even though it was packed. Returning soon.

Without a DOUBT the best pancakes you will have, especially the chocolate chip pancakes and the home made whipped cream which I dare say is a must. The environment is bustling on weekends with the best ambiance of a pancake house; the smell of coffee, the wait staff hustling to get fresh orders out, the welcome you receive as you enter - it is truly a wonderful experience each and every time I visit. Please do yourself and your family/friends/significant other a favor and go to the original pancake house for a wonderful breakfast. The place closes at 3pm and does get very busy so be sure to take wait time into account as you plan your outing.

I invited 32 people for breakfast today and they accommodated our every need for our entire group with so much grace and kindness. Phenomenal team. They had us seated within less than half an hour, and all food was served quickly. Special thank you to our waitress Brenda.

I was able to get something that I used to get in New Hampshire at this place. Our used to be called a baby apple. Pancake that has apples and brown sugar that's puffed up & fills the plate. It's got a lot of egg in it so it's a different texture than a normal pancake. Excellent Hawaiian Kona(?) coffee. Big glass of apple juice. Not the tiny ones other places give you. Very attentive serving staff. Nice place.

Close to the Caldwell ShopRite. We pass this place all the time but never stop in because of a few bad reviews. We actually a very good experience. The owner is of Greek descent and proud of it👍🏽. He gave us the rundown on the long history of this particular establishment. He also told me about his father's philosophy and his philosophy. The reason he did this is because I stopped him to compliment him on how well the servers were. They were very polite and very attentive. They seem very sincere about being that way. He said "the fish stinks from the head down" so it's his job to make sure that he as the head always smells good and therefore his employee will be good.

First time here and pretty impressed. Nice setting, it's simple and attracted lots of crowd. I was looking for a good pancake joint and so far, this is definitely a good place. The pancakes tasted super fresh, soft, but not mushy. I had their sausages which were very fresh - reminded me of the south. Medium roasted coffee was awesome as well. One thing I did not like, their syrup was VERY VERY VERY watery. AND when poured, I could clearly see water dripping from the top cover of the container. Pretty grossed out, but gave it the benefit of the doubt. I think they needed to wipe the containers before placing it on the table. It looks like they rinsed the container under a running water and never wiped it dry. Maybe the reason why their syrup was also super watery. Pretty pricey and well worth it... unless they keep having watery syrup served in a watery container.

The mini garden Dutch is amazing, I get it every time and when I share it with new people they love it. Everything is good and the service is great as well. Original pancake house is our favorite breakfast spot!

I had the standard, coffee and Dutch garden. The best part of this place is the buttermilk pancakes!! The Dutch garden was too cheesy for me, but was a good try (order Dutch baby items ahead), the service is really good. Expect to wait for sometime for a table, it gets crowded towards noon.
