Good food and service TJ took good care of us enjoyed with friends its BYOB Restaurant. Clean and hygienic. Food quality is best.

I do take out here all the time. It’s the best in the area! It’s in a very cute section of town. Love the food and selection. Everyone is always so nice. Chicken or paneer masala is amazing. The chicken korma is also very good here as well. I like everything but these two main dishes are my favorite.
I always find street parking. The place itself is not very big and intimate. Nice date spot or for a small family. I’m sure they can handle other sizes but I do like the cozy atmosphere for the smaller get togethers.

I visited this restaurant with my husband for his birthday, and we were blown away by how fresh and delicious the food was! I've lived in NJ 5 years, and I've never had Indian food taste this good in this state... this restaurant is seriously the most underrated restaurant in NJ and easily deserves the #1 ranking spot for Indian cuisine in NJ. I had the samosas, garlic Naan, and chicken Tikka Masala (*chef's kiss*). Everything was perfect and melted in my mouth. Don't sleep on this restaurant!! It's a small business but it's worth your money.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. I loved every bite of food and the person working was very nice and attentive. We had the papri chaat, chicken tikka, and goan shrimp - all were excellent. Will be coming back!

All appetizers is very delicious. Punjabi food is fab…I recommend all to go for lunch and dinner.

Tried this place for their lunch special. Really good! I ordered the chicken tikka masala lunch special and it was so good, tasted very fresh and the quantity was definitely worth the money, I couldn’t even finish the lunch portion in one sitting. The Naan was good too and the portion was large. The photo i added looks a bit messy because I already started eating when I took it 😂. Great experience, would eat here again and try more things!

Awesome spicy tasteful food… Seafood is well cooked without any raw smell.

Very friendly and quick service. Madras curry and Saffron kheer were delicious. They adjust the spice level like mild to medium as per your taste level which my 3-year-old girl loved it. Sweet staff.

My mom and I have been craving Indian food for awhile, but couldn’t find a good spot. Came across this spot and will MOST DEFINITELY WILL BE RETURNING. The food was flavorful, had different levels of heat. They took their time with their work and the best part it came out hot. Looking forward to going back!!!

In a quite neighbourhood, close to the short hills station, lies this nice clean and welcoming Indian restaurant. Tee Jay was friendly and made us feel comfortable. We enjoyed Medium spiced chicken Tikka biryani served with smooth raita. I recommend this place for any meal.

I love Indian Xpress! Everything we’ve ordered has been excellent, and the tandoori chicken is among the most delicious preparations of chicken I’ve ever eaten. Takeout is the best bet here. Delivery is reliable, if a little pricey. They’re not super well set up for dine in yet, but they make it work.

Whenever I have the urge for Indian, this is my go to place. The food is delicious. I was a little bummed that they don't do onion chutney for the pappadums and the chairs are uncomfortable to sit on but other than those 2 minor complaints...it's wonderful!

Excellent and authentic food. All the chaat items, Chole Bature and the special tea were excellent. Service was really good. Definitely visiting here again!

Discovered Indian Express by accident!! I was in the area and needed a quick bite and Google search took me to this hidden gem. I’m so glad I found this place. We had the corn and tomato soup - perfect for the chilly winter day. The soups were one of the best Indian soups I’ve tasted in a while. Also had paneer makhni and garlic naan which were delicious. The chef was kind enough to come and check in on us. Had a great experience and would love to check it out any time I’m in this area.

We love Indian Xpress! Food is always delicious and the portions are very good, always with delicious leftovers. The complementary rice pudding such a nice touch and we love it. Today had the lunch special and it was great. This place has been on our regular dinner takeout rotation for some time!

Just ordered for the second time in two weeks. I didn’t realize it had changed ownership and it is so good now. I can see coming back again and again. The chicken tikka masala was amazing! Spices were perfect. I ordered spicy and it was hot but not crazy. Extra spicy is an option but I haven’t gone there yet.

I went there a week ago with my family- fantastic food.
We tried the chicken tikka, Chicken Badami and chicken biryani - everything was tasty. The taste is what you get in India - not just spicy but aromatic and flavourful. Particular mention for the soft mouth melting naans. Apparently its a new management thats taken over and I have to say - we will keep coming back.

It's a really nice little Indian restaurant. We went there for some evening snacks. Loved the dahi sev puri and pani puri. The chicken tikka kathi roll was also tasty.
The staff was very helpful and friendly and the price is reasonable. Definitely coming back again.
