Painter’s Tavern

Had a great lunch here with a friend. Outdoor seating area is cute. I had a Mediterranean flatbread and truffle fries which were both amazing. I also asked for ranch and they bought me the best tasting sauce ever..I am not sure if it was homemade ranch or something else. I still dream of that sauce though.

Great place to meet friends and have a good meal. “Hefty” Quesadillas are so delicious!

My husband and I went there for a quick happy hour after work. We sat at the bar and Gabby was our bartender. Awesome 👌. It was just what I needed after a long week of work. Gabby had a great attitude. Loved my drink, the food, and the music. We would definitely recommend.

Went here after a hike at storm king and it was well worth the trip. The staff was extremely nice and gave great drink recommendations. I feel I should also bring up that they have a huge drink selection including a lot that are not so common. The food is tasty and cooked well. Also the restaurant was very clean and managed to have a local bar type feel to it. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Always a good place. Brunch is awesome. I recommend the tortilla scramble. Bacon is butcher quality. My Kids love the pancakes. They are huge and with real maple syrup.

Update..no more tortilla scramble. One of the best things on their brunch menu and they took ot off!!

We traveled from Pittsburgh PA to stay here for three nights. This was our first time ever staying at an Airbnb. The staff was so amazingly friendly it was definitely old-school decor but we loved that - it felt just like staying at grandmas house!! We had everything we needed. We got to meet the owner and he was so down to earth . We bonded with all of the staff and hung out with them after hours. It is a real family feel and you can tell they are people that really care about their job and each other❤

I love this place. When I was a child a parents came to visit our boarding school at the top of the hill they would take us and maybe one of our friends here. Today sitting on the patio on a July afternoon, watching the birds chip puts me in a truly special mood.

Came in for brunch with my family of six about 10:15. We were seated immediately and everyone was super nice. Food was really good and servings were plentiful. We had the eggs Benedict (YUM!!), breakfast burrito, and chocolate chip pancakes—more than we could finish! I really liked the feel of the place, it was exactly like a small town diner should be. Service was expedient and nice. Considering how rude and poor quality some other “diners” are in Cornwall, this place definitely is worth a stop and you won’t be disappointed. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing atmosphere.. professional and service is spot on and courteous. Food is absolutely delish. Had the best Nacho's in my life!!! Not a joke lol... They also accommodate something that's not on menu if u ask. Always a pleasure to sit alone or with a friend.

If I can't get here throughout the year, it's at least my birthday dinner of choice! Everything is always fantastic. Not a single bad plate on the menu out of everything I've tried..and I've tried a lot of their food! Wonderful service too.

Surpassed our expectations. Relaxing dinner with outstanding food and service. Our server, Melissa was the best and gave us great direction in ordering. Patrick is hands on making sure his guests are comfortable. We will return soon with friends.

The atmosphere is great and they have a beautiful menu selection. We came here on a VERY busy Sunday morning and while the service was a little slow,we didn't mind too much because the waitress was very sweet and clearly working very hard. I would come back here and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Stopped by after visiting Stormking Sculpture Park. Food had some unique twists, but overall great. Can definitely recommend if you're in the area.

I came to Painters for Sunday brunch with friends as a going away get together. My friends come here often for Sunday mimosas and coffee. The breakfast was awesome! All of the food we ordered was great and we ordered a full bottle of Champagne so we could refill our own mimosas. The service was great as they were friendly and genuinely friendly. They will box your leftovers for you. I will come back here when I'm in the area again!

I really enjoy Painter's! Great food and a main menu...with weekly specials. The very large wine and craft beer menu as well. Nice atmosphere with art work hug all around the dining area. I highly recommend Painters!

My favorite spot to meet friends for lunch. Their menu is friendly for foodies that have specific dietary restrictions. Items are marked G(gluten free) or V(vegetarian).

Rotating artwork from local artists adorn the walls as well. You want local good eats? This is it.

Painter's is a quaint inn well placed in the center of the town. The outside seating features plants around the railings, and nice stone work on the floors. As a restaurant, it offers a large and eclectic mix of options including American, Thai, Italian, and Mexican. The beer menu was vast as well. Food is well priced and high quality. Enjoyed a Persian Lime Gose with a BBQ pulled pork sandwich.
