My mother went to see Dr. McLaughlin after his secretarial staff confirmed that they would be able to offer her a cortisone injection in her right hip. After 2 weeks of an MRI and x-rays, Dr. McLaughlin gave her a script to get a cortisone injection elsewhere because he did not have the ultrasound machine. He also refused to note that the urgency was severe on her prescription and instead listed the severity as regular.

The office staff also refused to be helpful in finding my mother an appointment for the cortisone and instead suggested that she call around several offices to see what was available. My mother is in severe pain (still) and this Dr led her on. I suspect that this was to bill her insurance. I really don't recommend going to this office if you have a serious problelm.
