We came to have lunch after a long day of hiking in the snow. The place was warm and I was so glad to see they had Pisco Sour! I ordered the Beef Lomo Saltado and it was delicious, traditional Peruvian flavors! My friends had the salmon sandwich and the bean burger and they loved them as well. Will be coming back!

Food was amazing! The ceviche was fantastic! Service was great I recommend to everyone looking for a tasty meal!

We went around 12 on a Thursday and it was pretty empty but the service was amazing! He was so nice and when I left and forgot my sunglasses he called after me and made sure I got them back! He was so so nice and attentive. The beef nachos were delicious, the best nachos I’ve had in a long time! My boyfriend got Beef Lomo Saltado and he loved it! Our server thanked him for trying the Peruvian food and being open to it and that was awesome! If we’re back in the area we’ll definitely be back!

Delicious Peruvian food. The service was very fast, the waiter recommended arroz chaufa and lomo salteado and it was amazing. The place is really nice 😊 💯 recommended

Delicious traditional Peruvian food along with many other options. I ordered a lamb stew and it was delicious! Very fast and attentive service. Host and waiter were both very friendly. Food is a bit pricey but worth it. Would recommend and return again!

We stopped in after skiing to watch a football game. We sat at the bar and Chris took great care of us. The margarita might be the best I’ve ever tasted and the food was good too. I highly recommend going to this place.

Waiter took time to describe and explain the history of Perubian food and where the history of taste of the food spices seasoning comes from. You will not be disappointed if you stop in to try this restaurant. It is a must go to if you are in Lake Placid

Delicious! I recommend the passion fruit margarita (it was the best passion fruit margarita I've had, and I've tried many). Christian was super nice and explained the Peruvian menu to us and gave us recomandations. The portions are huge and full of flavor. Please visit this restaurant as it is the only latino restaurant in the ADK. You won't be disappointed. I had the Arroz Chaufa (rice) and it was simply delicious. I couldn't stop eating lol

Good food find visiting Lake Placid! Cerviche was delicious! They went out of their way to accommodate dairy free foods for us.

Excellent food and service. Christian is a great host. The lomo is the best we've ever had. Pisco sours were affordable and delicious. Definitely coming back again!

This place is a must stop to have dinner. We stopped for my daughter's sweet 16 birthday and the food was delish. The dessert they gave her was delish and they put Happy Birthday song on and sung as well. This is a place to eat if you stop in Lake Placid.

We had the Peruvian chicken with shrimp, fried rice, and the Peruvian steak with peppers and onions over white rice. The food was delicious. Very tasty. The service was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

My favorite place to go to when I’m in town. Food is always good and the service is the best. Waiter always remember me and my family it’s a great atmosphere to be in.

Amazing! GREAT ambience, music and spacious! We came from along Island NY and it was great to find home made Peruvian food restaurant to eat it was amazing and delicious. And they have Inka Cola! (National Peruvian soda drink)😄😃my Peruvian family was super satisfied with the food, plates emptied! Definitely try the lamb stew and lomo saltado.‼

This place has unbelievable, authentic, Peruvian food and drinks!!! If you’re looking for a unique meal in Lake Placid, you should try Sol de Oro and try their Peruvian specialties. Their lamb stew is exceptional as are the limo saltado, empanadas, and pisco sours. The staff is also so attentive/friendly!

Our party of 19 gathered here for an early New Year's Eve dinner. Our waiter was very friendly and had a thorough knowledge of the menu. The drinks were delicious - highly recommend the raspberry martini and the Peruvian margarita - and the menu had a large variety of both pub fare and traditional Peruvian dishes. Our son raved about his Lumberjack burger while other members of our party sampled the Tallarin Verde, Arroz Chaufa, and Beef Lomo Saltado. We had a fabulous time at Sol de Oro!
