If you appreciate healthy food and also love delicious food, be sure to visit this cozy restaurant. A pleasant bonus will be the extraordinary friendliness of the owners.
But at the end of the dinner, never forget to taste an incredibly delicious dessert.

Stopped in for lunch today. I was expecting it to be a more formal restaurant, but it’s definitely a fast casual spot. There is no table service and you order at the counter. We got the pork gyro, a side of fries and a Greek salad. Everything was super tasty and that salad? WOW. I don’t know what’s in the dressing, but it was super good. The fries were a little soggy towards the bottom, but we’re otherwise good (they put herbs in them, as well, which was a nice touch). They have one restroom, which is tiny but gets the job done and was in decent shape. The prices for the most part were OK but the salad was $14(!), which I thought was aggressive. But it turned out to be really good, so oh well. This restaurant is located towards the end of Main St., and was about a 8 min walk back to our car, which was great because we were STUFFED.

Unassuming Greek spot that has phenomenal food. You can tell it's a local favorite. The gyro I had was delicious , and you can tell the ingredients were good quality and homemade. Definitely a great spot to stop for good food!

We get take out from here often. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and consistent. Best restaurant that’s opened in Lake Placid in a long time! Highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t yet.

This place is amazing!!! Very very clean and inviting. The owner is awesome and talked with us a bit, the food was really the best Greek food I've ever had. Also you can buy the salt and olives to take home. Small and original dining room with a simple and stunning menu. Do yourself a favor and go. This is coming from a seasoned culinary professional.

Best Greek food in the Adirondacks! Amazing value and incredibly delicious. The chicken souvlaki was fantastic. It's counter service, but done really well. Portions are generous. But most importantly the food is really good.

Freshly made to order, tasty, juicy, perfectly seasoned! Lemon chicken soup was a refreshing yet comforting choice on a cold winter’s day. Chicken souvlaki was juicy and had just the right amount of char. Prices were extremely reasonable for the amount of food, especially in touristy Lake Placid.

Don’t pass this place up. Food is fantastic, fresh and made-to-order. Good portion sizes, with reasonable prices that aren’t marked way up like everywhere else. Fast service, with employees who are very friendly and personable. Gluten free options too. Wish we had discovered this place sooner.

Great food! You get a good amount for a reasonable price, especially comparing to the other restaurants in town. A little bit further from the touristy strip of shops but still close. Recommend the Falafel platter and pita, and the lemon potatoes side!

My boyfriend and I came to Lake Placid for a visit from Montreal. My boyfriend and I are both Greek but have had difficulty finding a place whom serves a tasty gyro like they do in Greece. But wow, ‘the Greeks’ gyro was so good. Will definitely be paying a visit every time we’re visiting Plattsburgh/LP. The gyro was big, full of flavour, good tasting meat and veggies. 10/10 recommend going

This restaurant is a gem. Authentic Greek food that is amazingly flavorful. The pork is delicious. Great presentation. All of this with reasonable prices and casual dining.
The owners are friendly and we enjoyed talking with them. I am looking forward to returning and trying other items on the menu.
We will definitely be back!

My experience with this company is helping them with the mural for The Greeks ADK restaurant. I enjoyed my time with the owners. They're a sweet couple that I know the town of Lake Placid will love. Phenomenal food! Chicken Souvlaki was super tender. Rice and Meatballs soup and Baklava were all very flavorful. Husband-and-wife owner team was very warm and welcoming. The husband (who's also the chef) came out to see what we thought of the food!

I am so mad I didn’t take a picture of my food before devouring it. Tonight I had the chicken souvlaki platter. It was fresh, light, amazing. The chicken was cooked perfectly and it came it out hot. You get a choice of side and tonight I chose the lemon potatoes. They are peeled potato chunks that are soft boiled with a hint of rosemary, olive oil and seasoning. The platter also comes with a Greek salad. I have no complaints. Coming from Chicago we know great Greek food. We have a whole town devoted to Greek food aka Greek Town. This is on par. The prices are reasonable. The owners are genuine. This is a no frills atmosphere with 4 tables. But don’t let that deter you from supporting local and getting great food. We are back in Lake Placid in 2 weeks and I will 1000% be back.

We ordered take out after a long day of site seeing. The food is authentic and fantastic. Spanakopita and pita hit the spot. The chicken souvlaki was so tender and Lentil soup was delicious. The owner and staff were friendly and we had a great conversation about the Lake Placid area. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful gyro sandwich! As a Greek who randomly visited this restaurant, I had zero expectations at the beginning. I thought that the gyro sandwich will be bad as in the majority of places in North America. I was surprised when I saw the gyro sandwich. It tasted fantastically and reminded me of the Greek Gyro sandwiches. For an offshore Gyro, across the Atlantic I would rate it 10/10!

Wow! What a freakin gem in Lake Placid! My great Grandparents came to the US from Greece, so I know how important food and hospitality is to our culture. The Greeks ADK gave a wonderful representation of that. For starters the Gyro was outstanding, everything is made fresh and worth the few minutes that it takes to have it made that way. I also had the falafel which was crispy and cooked perfectly. I took the Tzatziki appetizer home for lunch the next day and it was so good, even after 24 hours. Oh and baklava cheesecake- stop it… so good! Ok now to the people, the woman at the front was so nice! (I believe the owner.) She seemed to know everyone that came in, I’m not surprised they have many repeat customers. The chef came out at one point and was chatting with other folks in Greek! It made the place feel so authentic. My biggest regret is not coming in sooner. Also, the prices are super affordable- they could definitely charge more in NY. My best advice - support Greeks ADK, you will not be disappointed.

My family and I have been in Lake Placid for a few days now and this is the best food I’ve had yet. Everything is so fresh and the falafel is perfect. I’ve had falafel from many restaurants, and it can often be dry and flavourless - even if you think you don’t like falafel, you have to try this falafel. The lemon potatoes are also melt in your mouth. As a plus, the staff were super friendly and the interior is bright and modern with good music. A must try in Lake Placid!

My fiance and I came to this restaurant about a week ago and we haven't stopped thinking about our next date night at the Greeks ADK. PHENOMENAL food. Falafels are 10/10, the salad with feta is mouth watering good, and my fiance loved his carne wrap
