Hannaford

We continue to be impressed with shopping at Hannaford's. They have all the items we need and at fair prices. The staff are always helpful and courteous. The store has a nice layout and is well-stocked. What more could you ask for? There's more... discounted items are clearly marked and at super prices. Awesome.

I wasn't expecting what this was, but I was impressed. Great produce section, and the cheese selection was awesome!

Wish we had found this location last year as we trekked across the mountains to find a tiny Tops. This place blew it away.

Great store! We get everything we want from the store!

Absolutely huge! Which you can't really tell from the outside but it just keeps going and going. Has everything you need, including booze, ready to go healthy fresh snacks, dinners to go, hot bar etc etc.

If your visiting from out of town and are at a hotel, pick up a rotisserie chicken, a fresh Hannaford roll and a salad kit and you have a $15 dinner that feeds two people. Best dinner in town. Don’t eat at the restaurants around here.

Clean, helpful staff, tons of self checkout kiosks. Great spot to stock up on groceries when visiting lake placid with the family to avoid eating at a restaurant for every meal!

As a Canadian, this store was amazing! Such a wide variety of foods available, especially vegan options. Store was very clean as well.

Great grocery store to get vegan food options. Glad we stopped and looked since local dining establishments did not have much to offer and we were in town for several days at an air bnb.

We did all of our grocery shopping for our 8 day vacation here and were pleased with the selection of items and the late hours were great! The cashier and bagging people were very welcoming.

This supermarket is so incredibly well thought out, that the isles matched my shopping list as I went down each item. Amazing! The staff was so incredibly nice and helpful. If you are ever in Lake Placid, it is definitely worth a visit. They also had everything I needed including my dog’s fresh and refrigerated food. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely come back and I highly recommend!

Love the quality and selection. The employees are super friendly and professional. Love the policy of NOT harassing the customer who didn't have a mask. Don't we all know better by now that masks don't work... At least the nonsense that 99.9% of what people are wearing is garbage....

Clean safe environment... Which is so important these days. Produce was fresh and staff was helpful. One suggestion may be to have the aisles flow in alternating directions.

As far as finding what you need .. you name it they have it. I needed a Swiffer, flavored seltzer, cheese, and a few other odd products but was in and out super fast. No line outside and the checkout was smooth and quick

My favorite supermarket! Clean and well lit. Fresh produce, nice selection of cheese and I love the olive bar! Great meat department as well. When in town I like to pick up their rotisserie chicken for an easy dinner. I always find what I am looking for when I am there.

Great store and worth the drive from Moriah. Well stocked, organized and find everything I need and more. In addition, it's spotless and you could eat off the floor. The employees are friendly. Top's doesn't even compare.

I love this place. All my camping excursions have been awesome in large part because of this supermarket. All the best choices in food and most especially BEER have made each and every camping trip the tip of perfection. Easy to get to if you're not a local and everyone is friendly in the store.

My favorite grocery store in lake placid. They have great produce, great ethnic food selection for a isolated mountain town. It's always clean, and well stocked. Easy flow to the isles. Great parking lot too with easy access and tons of parking.

Visiting area from Buffalo, NY. Stopped on our way back home. Extremely friendly staff! Great selection of products, good prices, clean store. There was a very kind, sweet gentleman working in the area between deli and produce. He was very helpful and eager to do so. He recently began working at Hannafords. I wish I knew his name to give him appropriate acknowledgement.

Good selection of produce, though I wish they had a wider selection of organic items. Always easy to check out - none of those self checkouts that I always seem to have a problem with. Very polite and helpful cashiers.
