Imagination Station

I went to Imagination Station while on a trip to Lake Placid. The staff was extremely friendly, and the store has very unique gifts and souvenirs! I bought a sweatshirt while there, and when I got home I realized there was a hole in the sweatshirt. I called the staff to let them know, and they went ABOVE and BEYOND to make it right (and I now have a wonderful new sweatshirt)! It is rare to receive such great customer service. I would recommend anyone to go here while in Lake Placid.

Really helpful staff. I was able to call and place an order for a hard to find Jellycat that was not listed on their website to be shipped cross country. It went smoothly. Wish I was local to visit their store.

A cute little shop with souvenirs, board games and eclectic snacks. There’s a little bit of something for everyone. Highly recommend checking it out while you’re here! It’s a great place to find unusual gifts.

The products in this store are an absolute wonder, and the staff is friendly, clever and engaged! I probably would have just casually perused the goods and left with only a sticker, but one of the staffers who was a game developer showed us how to play the lovingly crafted board games near the front of the store. Their interest and engagement convinced me to buy one, and I'm having a blast playing it!

I would give it 4 stars only because it's not the same store I went to 5+ years ago. But it was well worth the visit and still a ton to choose from. I was hoping for some more of the high end wooden game boards of years past, but the staff were great at explaining all the new changes. Definitely stop in with your kids, or even the kid at heart!!

More than just a souvenir shop! They have lots of interesting lazer cut projects you assemble and terrain posters of the 46 (high peaks of the Adirondack mountains). And remote controlled sailboats. And they have souvenirs, ha! Quite an eclectic selection of merchandise. Very helpful sales people, nice and clean store. A fun place to see, my favorite store along the downtown strip.

Super unique items for all ages. Love this store. I always find great gifts here for my niece's, nephews and even some adults. Great sock selection too if you are looking for fun crazy socks... Also great sticker selections!

Staff is excellent. They design the coolest hats and t-shirts! The hats are great quality and always fit really well. I love checking out the store when I visit. I have also ordered items over the phone.

This store is a must stop location every time we are in town! Great selection of shirts & sweatshirts! Also if you're in the market for a unique toy or activity this is a great option as well for kids!

My family and I went into the store today (8/15/17) and my grandpa had health issues while in the store. The store manager was extremely helpful. He got my grandpa a chair to sit in, refilled his water bottle at least 5 times, and once my grandpa felt better (after about 45 minutes) he helped my grandpa walk to the car. He went over and beyond to help my family. Very helpful young man! Thank you again.

What a great place to have right on main street tons of fun gifts souvenirs and just intriguing cool items. Very friendly staff and well priced product also. If you have kids it's the store for you.

Entering this store is a fun experience for people of all ages! Looking around at all the different toys, clothes and so many other things is very entertaining!

One of the most popular stores in Lake Placid especially for families. As a local resident it's my go-to store for gifts for all ages.

Cutest gift shop ever! Loved the clothes, bath bombs, unique toys, motivation journals. You can find something here for everyone, yourself included.

The store has to limit the number of entrants due to COVID, and the greeter at the door was super friendly and made the wait fun. Great store - lots of cool things to buy

I'm an adult but felt like a child coming in. Beautiful books to read, stationary, and souvenirs. This store is for the inner child in you.

Cool little place to visit lots of things and games here that you won't see in your normal store or toy shop.
