OUTSTANDING, FANTASTIC. Great service, and excellent food. If you are looking for great atmosphere, service ans food you will not go wrong at upstairs. I had the orange chicken and you can taste the orange with each bite of of.tender chicken.

Loved this little find on my walk this evening, the chicken Picatta was delicious and the staff were super sweet and attentive, will be back

This is a review I don't want to share because people will learn about this awesome restaurant! We have consistently had superior meals, whether it's been 2 people or 8. It's a very comfortable restaurant, featuring some quirky fun art. A family run place with everyone stepping up to make your dining experience perfect.

You'll find this place across from the Bookstore Plus. Go to the upper level of the parking lot for easy entry. Handicapped accessible.

While every place was packed and had a long waitlist, we decided to walk up the steps here and we are so glad we did!! Our waiter was quick, professional and attentive!! This placed rocked!! We have been in Lake Placid for three days and this meal was by far the best!! Clean, attentive and amazing drinks!! When we come back, we will definitely be having more means here!!

Ate lunch here and the classic cheeseburger was good, my wife's pasta meal was good. I can't really complain about any of it - it was good and the service was good.

I read the other reviews that were negative and all I can say was my experience was good. pricing wasn't outrageous for where we were, in my opinion. I paid cash so no upcharge for credit card, which was noted clearly at the door and on the bill when it came.

I believe that when you are home and doing day-to-day things that it's fine to get your burgers, fries tacos and pizza fr. om your local go-to folks. However, when on vacation you should try 'dining' rather than mere eating. This is our 2nd time in Lake Placid and our 4th or 5th time at the Upstairs Grill. The ambience is warm and inviting, the service is on point and the food is simply superb! Try the Ahi Tuna and pay the extra few bucks, damnit! You're on vacation!

This place wasnt as bad as the reviews for me. High prices? Yes but your in a touristy area. My wife had the chicken parm and I had chicken orange. My kids split a pizza. Meals came with fresh bread and both chicken dishes were exceptional and big portions.

This restaurant is top-notch great services very kind staff and the food is wonderful. I had the seafood pizza and salad it was excellent.

Went next door and wait was 2+ hours so we came here. Read a few negative reviews. We had a party of 6 and all 6 gave it 5 stars. Food was great. Service was great.

Food was tasty and cooked to order. Through the Delmonico steak I bought was a little pricey at $40, its to be expected in a town like Lake Placid that depends on tourism to support its economy..

Pizza was amazing, true fire brick crust. The Buffalo chicken pizza and the burger pizza was very good.

Great food with great service. Our lunch was excellent and our server was very attentive. The central location with easy and close parking is ideal in town. The window seating above and overlooking main street provides a little distance from the bustle of the village while offering views of the lake and mountains. Highly recommend.

I am shocked to see the bad reviews of this place. My wife and I went there last weekend and had a truly fantastic experience! We were seated immediately and ordered the Fried Calamari, Caesar Salad, Mozzarella Salad, Filet Mignon and a NY Strip Steak both came with baked potatoes and everything was excellent! The service was outstanding and timing was perfect. Bread came right out, then a few minutes later the Fried Calamari which was delicious, lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. As we finished that the salads were served, both were excellent (my Caesar was really fresh and very large for a side salad and the dressing was fantastic) my wife really liked her Mozzarella Salad as well. As I took my last bite of salad the waiter walked up with our steaks. Both the NY Strip and Filet were cooked perfectly (both medium rare ) and were delicious. We both had the baked potato which were nice sized, cooked perfectly wrapped in foil and piping hot. I literally ate every bit of it including the skin. Based on our experience I would highly recommend the Upstairs Grill and already have to two different couples who like my wife and I travel to Lake Placid a couple times a year. My only regret is that we did not try this place on one of our prior trips to LP.

Stopped here for lunch after a hike at Whiteface Mountain. They were just closing to prepare for dinner and the host was kind enough to let us in and seat us. We had the wing appetizer, gyro and the turkey club. All delicious. Great service, great meal and needless to say full, satisfied bellies. Without a doubt would go back. Definitely recommend.

I don't understand the bad reviews of this place. We had a great server, food was great, wine was perfect. We had the chicken genovese, lasagna, and piccata - all were wonderful. Our wine was the Franciscan cabernet. Had to wait about 25 minutes for a table but it was Saturday night and the place was packed.
