I had a delightful experience at Pure Placid! I happened upon the store on Main Street and immediately feel in love with the scents! I found a luscious lotion for a friend and she raved about it. The owner was especially nice and I’m eager to go back! A real treat!

Over the holiday season, I purchased the Mount Marcy Candle and cozy slippers and I absolutely love them! The candle is long burning, smells amazing and the slippers are so comfy. Shipping was also VERY quick and the packaging was as if I was getting a gift for myself!

We happened upon their Main Street storefront in Lake Placid during our recent summer trip. The scents are so fresh and invigorating. I selected some great items for myself, as well as a specially curated box for a family member's housewarming gift. The owner was extremely accommodating.

Such a cute, wonderful store with fabulous products! I have soaps, candles, and sprays from them that are all so pleasant and fresh and have good lasting time. I particularly love the Mount Marcy scent. I also love that they are a small business with a great mission, and that they really care about the environment/the ADKS. Cannot recommend enough!

Very welcoming store on Main Street in Lake Placid. Got a triple wick candle while at the store and absolutely loved the calming scent. Bought 6 recently as gifts for some loved ones after the death of a loved one to bring them some peace and relaxation. The packaging of the candles in the mail was perfect. Will definitely continue to buy their products for myself and others.

Pure Placid has been a great find for me! I discovered the silky natural fragranced lotions and keep ordering . Balsam and Cedar and Rose and Berries are my favorites.I started buying the Mystery boxes and have never been disappointed with the quality, quantity and value of the “Surprises”. Pure Placid,I haven’t been there in quite a while, but I have never forgotten how wonderful their products are! I miss testing their scents but my favorite is White Birch! It brings back so many memories in Lake Placid! Even when I move South I will continue to order from Pure Placid!

I bought some candles while I was visiting and smelling them literally brought me back to my childhood. it’s more than just a great smelling candle , it’s nostalgia. I grew up in lake placid but moved to Chicago and when I miss home , I just smell these candles. I haven’t even burned them yet , I don’t want them to go. even if it wasn’t nostalgic , they have paired some great scents (very pleasantly surprising and unexpected pairings as well). I also love how they keep it on theme to the Adirondacks , so many beautiful natural scents to be captured. will be buying more next visit :)

Bought some on our anniversary trip to Lake Placid & fell in love. Have made 2 more orders online. I an partial to the Balsam I bought small ones for gifts but kept them! Very high quality. And soy- no smoke.

I discovered Pure Placid during a vacation in October, 2019. What a beautiful shop with wonderful products. I bought some hand soap and lotion for myself, also some gift sets for Christmas. These products are excellent quality with beautiful fragrances, packaged in a lovely and eco-friendly manner. This year it is my go-to for beautiful, personal, and American made Christmas gifts. Love Pure Placid and all of their products. I use the candles around my home, and love all the scents.. not overpowering, just light and clean. The linen spray is a must, just a spritz makes any room smell amazing! I have the hand soap, body wash, and lotions in my bathrooms and guests always express how much they love them. Just great natural products that smell amazing!

Pure Placid is just what it says...all their products are pure and bring the mountains and fresh air to your home! I love the Summer by the Lake and Cashmere Sweater fragrances. I first learned of Pure Placid when I visited the darling boutique shop on Main St. in Lake Placid, NY. Our dear friend and local resident has sent us numerous scents in soaps and lotions.
