Today, we had our propane fireplace insert serviced by North Country Hearth and Home. Brian, our service tech, was outstanding. He arrived promptly, covered everything to avoid any possible tracking of soot and went straight to work. Brian was able to get the fireplace started quickly, in addition to cleaning and servicing every square inch of the unit. He answered all of our questions and gave us some excellent suggestions on proper maintenance. We received great service and would recommend this company highly.

NCHH is a local gem! We love the pellet stove we got and the service NCHH provided. During the process of inspecting our fireplace, selecting an insert, installing the insert, and maintenance afterwards- their patience, guidance, knowledge, and care has been unmatched. The entire team treats you with respect and does their job in the most professional manner. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

We began researching inground pools last fall. I worked with Shane over the winter, getting an estimate and paying an initial deposit. He told me in April, the dates the pool would be put in (weather pending). True to his word, the pool went in as scheduled and quickly! The concrete people he worked with and the electrician he recommended were both extremely professional and coordinated their part of the job with the pool installation. My husband had a special need, due to a disability, which they accommodated as well. Very pleased with everything from start to finish. I recommend them highly! And they're priced considerably cheaper than other local businesses.

Shane and his staff did a great job helping us find the perfect gas stove for our home. His staff was courteous and very knowledgeable of all the products that are sold in their store.
The install team was professional and expedient. When there was an issue with the stove, Shane and his staff worked diligently to diagnose the issue and correct it.
This was an A+ installation and product from an A+ organization. Will definitely return to This company for any other heating need my family has in the future.

You only have 2 choices here in the North Country. As far as I am concerned you only have one choice. North Country Hearth and Home is a very professional company to do business with. George was a great help on the front end in sales. I just had my fireplace insert installed and I am extremely pleased. Chance and Jesse showed up on time, to the minute. The installation had some challenges that they had to overcome, which they did. The installation is tight and neat and installed as discussed in the planning phase. I am very pleased. They cleaned up and left the job site as they found it. They did what they said they would do in the time frame they agreed to at the price that was stated. Well done folks.

This company did an amazing job servicing my chimney. The gentleman was very knowledgeable and explained everything throughout the process. I highly recommend using them they caught a few things wrong that another company failed to notice. We will definitely be using them in the future!

I love this place. I went to speak with someone regarding an aboveground pool and found George. He was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He wasn't a salesman spewing off pitches and pushing me out the door. I felt confident enough to handle the information given and placed our name on the list for our future aboveground pool. Also, I stopped in for the free water sampling of my hot tub. The upfront ladies were spectacular. I walked out confident again with everything I needed to keep my hot tub safe and sanitized. The ease of their expertise makes pool and spa care a breeze. I am a devoted customer now.

UPDATE: Wish I could do a separate review, but we got our wood stove installed today. (They also closed the pool for the season.) I'm not even sure how to explain how great this company is. Jesse and Scotty worked their ... well ... butts off today. They have been amazing. The communication and work ethic??? Beyond expectations. Thanks to the NCH&H family.

They're the best! Great customer service. We use them for our pool opening/ closing and hot tub needs. The whole team is fantastic. We'd used Sundance in the past and were looking for a change. They surpass expectations.

NCHH installed a woodstove for us today on a snowy, windy day with snow squalls on the shore of Lake Ontario. I felt bad as the technician climbed up on the ladder in the horrible weather but they maintained their professionalism and sense of humor throughout the day. They did an exceptional job and didn't hesitate even when we gave them a 24 hour notice design change. I would highly recommend this company; service like this is rare.

Had a woodstove installed and an older much larger one removed. Very friendly, professional, and helpful staff. They cleaned up after themselves and worked quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend in the future!

I wish I could give 10 (or more) stars. NCHH installed a wood burning fireplace with manufactured stone in our Adirondack camp and we couldn't be more pleased. The crew was exceptional and their work exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend NCHH.
