Very nicely maintained trails for hiking, snowshoes, and xc skiing. Great environmental education programs for kids, too! Not a lot of wildlife, but still very pretty!

Trails were well marked. Family friendly. Had a great time with my husband and 4 year old! They had a nice book walk for the kids. The water looked so clear and beautiful! We will be back to rent canoes and/or kayak (and maybe even snow shoes!) after Covid. Oh, and very nice bathroom facilities!

Absolutely beautiful land!
Clean outhouse and fresh drinking water available.
Heads up though there is a 2 mile drive way into the environmental center that could use some work. Do not suggest taking anything smaller than an suv.
Otherwise 10/10 recommend!

Dyken Pond is a special place to visit and explore any time of the year. I've been kayaking on the pond in the summer and this year joined in a walk in the winter. A very peaceful place to explore and they offer programs throughout the year.

A hidden gem on the Rensselaer plateau very close to the more popular Grafton State Park. This place is perfect if you want to experience nature! They have trails where you can get to see a large variety of animals from moose to bear (if you are lucky)! The gravel road to the center is quite rough, so be sure you drive slow. No hunting is allowed but you can take your non-motor boats to the pond for fishing. A must visit place if you want to get away from hustle and bustle and spend some amazing time with nature.
