Perfect way to spend a rainy weekday evening with MOM !!!
We watched the movie "CREW" sitting on reclined chairs - eating popcorn!
The Theater was practically empty - we arrived just on time - the place was clean and we thoroughly enjoyed the show and ended the evening walking in the rain...creating beautiful memories, with a smile on our faces!!

😀 We went here to watch fast X, the place was really good and the screen was way better than any other theatres in stony Brook, I personally liked the clarity, sound which was dolby atmos .. literally the experience was on another level, quick tip 📍we took the amc card and they gave 50 percent off on our tickets!!! Popcorn was good with caramel flavour, washrooms are clean and the whole place is well maintained.

Beautiful movie theater. Lovely restrooms , clean & huge & the seats in the movie theater rooms were comfortable . I definitely recommend anyone to come to this AMC movie theater in Stony Brook .

Though the prices are nothing to sneeze at, the luxury is well worth it. The theaters is newly refurbished with reclining comfy seats! There is a small bar and snack stand in the main lobby.

After you watch a movie, consider any of the great restaurants near by to round out your day.

We went on a very rainy day and the theaters were only half full.

Always a great time! Although food can be a lil pricey..becoming a Stubbs member helps. The reclining seats and retractable table are a plus. Expanded menu options provide more of a variety thannjust popcorn

They are almost done with the construction inside the lobby. It's gonna be exciting to see it all when it's complete. The best part for now is that all the theaters are new upgrades to EVERY SINGLE THEATER - you can't go wrong with catching a movie here. I used to only go to popular opening night films because the other theaters were super old. THESE ARE THE BEST SEATS ANY THEATER ON LONG ISLAND HAS. They just got done renovating, so I can't wait to come here more and more. I almost didn't want to change my score, so It doesn't become the most crowded.

They have the best staff led by Clint, who is seemingly always there when I arrive. He makes my kids laugh, makes sure we are all set, and knows the in and outs of customer service. He should be running multiple AMC's on LI. I'm not gonna say which are lacking, but I would send him to other AMC"s to train the teams AMC. He is the definition of a rock start employee, and it's hard to stand out with a great team like Stoneybrook. Enjoy everyone before it gets over run!

The theatre was a little bit of a mess but to be fair they were going through construction and the fire alarm got pulled before we got there. Otherwise we had a great time. We happened to see the Super Mario Bros movie.

Sadly Island 16 is no longer a great place to visit it’s getting outdated and a bit too dirty, loving to bring my family here instead. Went today with niece and nephew we loved it. Got free popcorn!!

It's a good local movie theatre. I liked the environment and enjoyed movies. At time it gets busy.I wish the rest room a little bit cleaner.

Ah,the reclining chairs have heat,if you want it.After the ads,previews and a lengthy film,this old body appreciated that heat!

I haven’t really gone to the movies since Covid. And I’m really impressed with the way that this movie theater has upgraded. Chairs are super comfy, you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other and it’s much cleaner. This movie theater has now become our place to go.

Revamped IMAX is great. Sound system you can feel in the seat. Might even be just a tad TOO loud, but this is the only way to see blockbuster releases.

Love those seats planet of apes was less than thrilling

I drive extra to come to this theater due to the higher standard of experience. The seats are better, the screens are better and the bathrooms are as well! Lol. But seriously, they don’t dim the bulbs like Island 16. Today I saw Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning and I had a small issue. After speaking with the manager Sam and her assistant Christian I was left feeling heard, appreciated and taken care of. They were fantastic.

Very clean. Great parking next to plenty of eateries so it's a great location for a full date night.

This theater is a delight as it is retro, a great throwback! It’s one of the few AMC theaters that has not been upgraded so don’t expect reclining seats though they’re comfortable. There’s old movie posters down the aisles, Hollywood lights, and the concession stand is a feast for the eyes though the food is overpriced as they are at all cinemas. This establishment is clean, comfortable, and has friendly customer service, hard to beat the nostalgic feeling you get when visiting this theater.
