My family recently lost our father. My mother and father were married for 69+ years. In my 65 years, I have been to many funeral parlors and I can say, without a doubt, that the professionalism, accommodations, compassion and organization of Brueggemann’s staff was wonderful. They made a very challenging time less painful and we were all able to truly celebrate the life of our father, husband, uncle, mentor and friend.
The mass at the Church and 45 minute processional to the cemetery was handled with solemnity and precision. We felt we were guided gently through the process without being rushed or pushed. There was reason to be pushed because of the inclement weather and the funeral following behind us at the church. However, we were shielded from all of those concerns.
The staff also collected all of the planters, flowers, pictures and mementos together so that we only needed to pick them, as well as thank you notes up the following day. In addition, they presented my mother with a lovely remembrance piece of my father.

Doug and his staff were the absolute best! They treated my family as if we were one of their own. Never at anytime did we feel any pressure as to what we desired for services. They were attentive to every detail. Thank you Doug and staff for your kindness, empathy, warmth, and professionalism.

I didn’t think I'd ever be writing a review for a funeral home. My mother passed away earlier this month. I never looked forward to dealing with a funeral home. From the first moment we interacted with Brueggemann's, they were professional, caring, helpful, and polite. They knew what questions to ask us. They were organized and quick to respond. They were considerate and compassionate. The services at the Funeral Home all went as smoothly as possible.
Brueggemann's also helped us coordinate with the hospice, the church, and the cemetery. This allowed us to focus on mourning and celebrating the amazing woman that my mom was with our family and friends. The actual funeral home at Brueggemann's is also very new and clean. The memorial cards, thank you cards, and other things we purchased from them worked out well. Brueggemann's took very good care of our family during an extremely difficult time.

My mother passed very suddenly and we were scrambling to make final arrangements. Craig and Mike were extremely professional, compassionate and walked us through the whole process. They were extremely helpful with any requests we had and made my mother look beautiful. I would recommend this home to anyone and will definitely use them again in the future.

Mike answered all my questions and was very forthcoming with valuable information none of us would ever think to even ask.

I know none of like to think about funeral homes but trust me, they are honest professionals who give there all to assist a grieving family. My family today. Before you sign on the dotted line at another funeral home at least talk to Mike or Doug.

The staff here are above and beyond. The business is run with care from the top down. Wonderful people.

the environment created at brueggemann’s funeral home is so comforting and it really does just give you that warm, cozy feeling! strongly suggest using brueggemann’s. they are so amazing and put the emotions and best interest of their clients ahead of anything else, which i don’t know that i can really say for all other funeral homes. they are so personable and will never ever disappoint. they always provide the highest quality services and processions which leaves you not to have to deal with havin’ to coach them on what you want done, because as a family, brueggemann, as aforementioned, always has your family and friend’s best interest in mind when going anything and everything. this is one thing you will not have to worry about when planning the funeral processions / services for a friend and/or loved one, and you shouldn’t have to. so, the next time the dreaded time comes, entrust brueggemann’s to take care of you and do all the ‘heavy work’ for you, as you deal with grieving your loss, and have your funeral processions/services with them. thank you. stay safe. stay healthy. god bless, and have a great day!!

Very clean place, courteous staff, adequate parking well maintained...nobody is perfect but the people there were nice, respectful and there was dignity which is important.

Helps family in difficult times

Unprofessional, no lack of empathy, no communication, I would never use this company. The actual home is very nice inside but what really counts is the humans who you are working with, they upset my entire family and made us cry over something we can never change. We were told to show up at 9:30 to say our final goodbyes to then drive to the church, when we got there at 9:20, the coffin was already loaded into the hearse and the man drove to the church with no one following him. I hope everyone else is entitled to say goodbye to their loved ones, as we were not granted. They also double booked two funerals leaving at the same time. So we were waiting in line to follow behind the hearse, and found out 5 minutes later that our loved one had already left. Completely unprofessional and horrible behavior from "professionals" who went to school for this.
