Shoe Dept. Encore

I walked in and within minutes found the shoes I wanted and the correct size. The store is well organized and well stocked with sizes and variations. I didnt need any assistance but it was readily available.

Friendly staff and had the size I needed.

The store manager here was coughing up blood but came into work anyway and all the employees got sick. I hope everyone Shoe Dept. Encore infected recovers quickly. Shame on the store management.

Upon walking into the store, on Sunday 10/23 at 1 pm at the Massena Mall, I was “ looked at strangely” by an employee. As I browsed, I was under the constant, creepy watching of this employee. No idea what the issue was, I thought perhaps it was the reusable empty bag that I was carrying to put my purchased items in (due to bag issue happening in all stores now.) Feeling very uncomfortable, I left. My $200.00 left too that was intended for this store. I then went to another place of business 2 doors down. As I was browsing there, I noticed the same employees left her store and walked into the same store I was then in. She went directly to the owner ( tried to be subtle- failed) and whispered to that store owner and they both then looked directly at me. I am a 50 yr old school teacher, who spends a lot of money locally. I have no need to steal or even think about it. At that point, I felt the need to address this “customer service employee” by saying “excuse me, if for some reason you think I am stealing, feel free to address it properly. Perhaps you would like to look into my bag.” Of course, instant denial. I will not return to this store again nor will my family. My purpose of going there was to buy shoes for 2 students in need and I got treated like a criminal. I will not be returning but hopefully in the future, employees of this business have a bit more class and grace while dealing with the public.

Went in to get shoes for my brothers girlfriend and they gave me the wrong size in the wrong box. When i went back to exchange the shoe for the right size they almost didn’t let me return them and accused me of putting an old pair in the box until they went back into the back and found the shoe that actually belonged in that box was sitting in the back of the store. Then they exchanged that shoe for another shoe that was once again in the wrong size!!

One of the employees was coughing up blood and not sent home? What is going on here?!

Went to get sneakers for my daughter but couldn't get waited on.
