Hosmer's Marina

My bride and I met an old friend & his wife at Hosmer's Marina/Smugglers Cafe for lunch on a Wednesday in September. The atmosphere was nice (not too loud), the food was excellent (and affordable), and the waitstaff was efficient and saw to our every need (earning a larger tip)!
I can recommend the baked fish sandwich, but I will try a burger next time as my lady said it was excellent.

I love this place. The food is really good and the prices are beyond reasonable. Great place to bring a family and not have to break the bank for dinner. Located right on the river you can enjoy the outside seating in the summer or dine inside. They also have a tackle shop and kayak rentals.

Saturday, 05/26/2023: Wonderful experience! The food was delicious. The service was great. The ambience to die for! I'm definitely going to visit more frequently. BTW: The other five members of my party echoe these sentiments.

Definitely my favorite place to go in the Burg! Lovely location right on the water with outdoor/indoor seating - perfect for lunch/dinner, especially when they have live music. Good array of menu options with lots of specials and chef's choice items. Good selection of local and domestic beer on tap and by the bottle/can. Always friendly staff, even when they're busy!

All the food was terrific! The fries are humungous and still had their skin....LOVED THEM both flavors! Swiss burger, tuna sandwich, shrimp, clam strips, chicken wrap.....all delicious, we tried each other’s dishes 🤪. Huge dishes full of food!! Thank you to the waitress, she was very very good!! Recommend over other places in the burg, Madrid, canton and Potsdam any day!!

Very good service, has a patio so you can enjoy the water and eat. Food was good - we had the fish fry with some mac and cheese and fries - all delicious. Would recommend.

Great food and service, nice view, good draught beer. Whether stopping to fill the boat up or have a great lunch or dinner you can't go wrong!

Always delicious at the restaurant part, the drinks are always on point at the bar, and the marina is super helpful with bait and gas and whatever you need to get out fishing or just enjoy the river! Love this place.

Food was great while we sat outside at the tables. Just moved to the area and were put there for the vintage car show. We will be back again!

The bait shop is a fisherman's paradise. They have it all at very reasonable prices. You can get all your fishing gear and fuel up the boat in one spot. Nicest Marina around.

Omg the service here is so good mate! They got excellent foods drinks and for the parents alcohol make sure to check it out if your in this area.
