Nice place with great accommodations but it’s never anyone there when I go and they are not 420 friendly what so ever & I wasn’t even smokin!

This is a great bar, especially if you feel like playing bar games while your drink. It has three floors, including a surprisingly big outdoor area (good enough to host a live band / small concert). They have 3 tables for shooting pool, a shuffleboard, and cornhole. I think I also saw TouchTunes and a sports video game. The bartender was awesome, as were the customers. Despite "cafe" in their name, I don't think they have a kitchen (but it's near a couple of decent restaurants). It's a reasonable walk for me, so I'll be visiting more often.

I'm definitely going back. Heard Karaoke from Fries Cafe at my friend's apartment - he lives right behind Fries.

A great dive with cheap beer and a cool patio space

Very old fashioned Great Bar. We're lucky it's been saved and continues to entertain.
It was opened about 118 +/- years ago. We all knew dads and granddads who went there regularly.
Wonderful revolving menu of delicious craft beers. Bartender when I was there was Jordan, Exceptional Host well polished in Hospitality.
Another customer made homemade bbq wings and other finger food and offered the food to my wife and I and others there. Talk was he does this, free, every Saturday.
Nothing fancy but kept in its original looks which is very hard to find. I'll be going back soon.

Great place to hang out with friends! They have three pool tables(a dollar per game) and a big patio space which is great. And the staff is friendly.

Clifton's Best Dive Bar if you ask me. Pool tables a plenty. The game is always on (we were here for the World Series) and the beer selection is adequate. The Penguin by Rhinegeist is a must if you ask me. Would definitely recommend this low key environment as a nice change up for the pretentious feel some other Cincy bars can have.

Favorite place in Clifton. No food but great beer selection and drink prices. Sit out back in the yard with friends, smoke, listen to some music occasionally. Have fun events from time to time as well. Check it out.

Not sure why it is called a cafe because it is a bar. They will serve you a bag of chips. Anyway, I like going there to relax with a drink after work. It is a nice place to hang out. If you get hungry you can order from the surrounding restaurants.

Lonely Planet..Rough Guide and other national guides and rankings confirm what I've known to my core..that this a one of a kind unique welcoming genuine historic gem that offers great selections ..stellar service..and the bones of a saloon from yesteryear with one foot in the 21st century. Quaint patio weather permitting, billiards, shuffleboard, flatscreens, bands on occasion, ever changing wide range of beers on tap. A treasure and a home away from home. Perfect for visitors curious about the real Cincinnati/Clifton experience.

Great place always seems to always have 2 hearted on tap. 4 pool tables pay to play on nice condition. Free popcorn and awesome staff .
