Leucadia Donut Shoppe

You know a place is good when there are stickers all over the windows and doors. It’s a surf town’s equivalent of a Michelin star. Enter the Leucadia Donut Shoppe before the mid morning weekend crowd and you will find a display case gleaming with the best donuts ever. The donuts are beyond reproach. The coffee pairs excellently. The owner is the coolest. Can’t recommend this place enough.

The donuts from here are so good. I showed up a few minutes after they opened and grabbed some donuts to bring back to the family and they were so nice as soon as I walked in the door. There is a pretty big selection so there should be something for everyone, so far my favorite has been the bear claws and the buttermilk blueberry. I will be coming back here any time I am in town.

Nothing better than a warm donut! These donuts are pretty small, but tasty! Of the three I tried the strawberry donut was the best!

Got here early Saturday morning. Loved the full spread of maple donuts with both buttercream and custard fillings but couldn't resist the buttermilk donuts. Blueberry buttermilk was especially delicious. Service was brisk and the drip coffee was on point. Top notch donut shop!

Came in Friday morning around 6:30, owners were very nice and welcoming! Donuts are delicious and THICK! We tried a vanilla sprinkle, glazed, and chocolate cake. The sprinkled donut is my favorite! Coffee is also really good!! There were about 4 spaces in the lot next to the store for parking.

Fantastic local spot serving great donuts and classic coffee. Vibe is always great, with Tom always there with a friendly welcome.

I've been coming to this place for 15 years and it still delivers fresh and delicious donuts. The folks that run the establishment are beyond friendly and give off welcoming vibe. Give em a try and i guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Leucadia Donut is an awesome, hole in the wall donut shop with plenty of delicious donuts. You will want to get here at a good time (not late in the morning) if you expect to find that favorite donut to eat. The donuts are extremely fresh and taste amazing. A lot of people like to ride bikes, walk, run etc…since there is not a lot of parking but there are a few spots. The owners are very nice and know what they are doing.

Best donuts of my life. And I've eaten at lots of fun donut places. I think I'll be dreaming about these for a few years until I make it back to this part of California... They were super friendly, too.

A local favorite, and for good reason. A ton of variety, and the ‘nuts are fresh and taste homemade. The locals always seem a little disgruntled to see new people in the store. I guess Id want to guard this secret too, if I was a Leucadian!

If you ever need a sugar fix, this is the place! Fantastic and fresh, sat outside to enjoy the views and have some yummy fresh donuts.

The best donut shop in SD county. I love the people that work here. They are so kind and always with a positive attitude. The cake donuts here are the best along the 101 and I know because I stopped at all of them while I was commuting from Oceanside to San Diego a few years back. I live in San Diego now and any time I'm driving north I try to stop on my way for a donut.
