very happy to have the chance to eat such good Indonesian food! kind and attentive service, food was prepared quickly and came with interesting explanations of their cultural origins; portion sizes were generous and the table sauces were delicious and unique. would love to stop by again next time we’re in Carson City!

Wow. If I lived close by I would come here everyday, not just for the amazing food but the wonderful hospitality. It really does feel like you’re tucked away in a small cozy corner of the world shielded from society, just enjoying some bangin’ Indonesian food. Chef Tee Jay made me a sambal and it was the best I’ve had in the US after 4 years. Other customers are always talking within themselves that this place feels just like “home cooked food” and they’re right, everything tastes like it’s made with love.

Please try the Indonesian Pot Roast!!

We went to the restaurant on Thursday night after driving 8 hours from LA and after reading the reviews.

The “Food corner” if you allow me say so is hidden in a casino. My young kids don’t like the smoke smell in the casino and we were almost about to leave. Then we decided to get the food back to hotel, the two chefs were so friendly and kind, offering cold water and nice words making us feel at home. They talked to us like old friends or families and my kids were really happy and we stayed. The food served so fast and very delicious. They were basically serving 12 people showing almost the same time, not mention the phone orders. Amazing!!!

You definitely want to try the Cowboy Steak, so Cheezy and tasty. The Green Curry is really good too. And we also love the desserts - Mango with sweet sticky rice. Yum!

We will definitively come back if we will visit Carson City again! We will miss the food and most importantly the people who made them for us! Thanks for making our first night here memorable!

The food was so delicious. Everything we ordered was perfect! Great people and great food were a wonderful dinner experience for my family. Definitely coming back.

Tee Jay's is back, baby! After several weeks of renovations, Tee Jay's is open and serving up what I consider to be Northern Nevada's best Asian food. Whether you order Indonesian food, American classics, or a fusion of the two, you're in luck -- this menu has no wrong answers. A must-stop for anyone in Carson, whether you're local or just passing through.

Amazing Southeast Asian food. Had the Nasi Goreng and it reminded me of the wonderful food you get from the Hawker stalls in Singapore and Malaysia. Also had a delicious mushroom and swiss omelette. Super warm and friendly service. Definitely the place to go anytime we are in the area.

Small little place in cactus jack which was very good. The nasi goreng is amazing along with the Singapore noodle. Good menu with lots of choices.

Honestly one of the better meals I have really ever had! The spices and the combination and blend of ingredients was insanely fresh. Did not expect this experience but me and my group have been nothing but thrilled with our dinner here. Vibe was awesome!

This is one of the most amazing places in Carson City!! It’s only two dude’s running it and they are the nicest guys making the best food. The food is always perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. Never a soggy noodle or undercooked broccoli. I really recommend their fusion food! The Indo Burrito in particular blew me away.

These 2 amazing Duo Tee Jay & Chuck worth to check it out in corner or calm Carson City, as 🇮🇩 for sure I'm curious how they got best reviews in town yet how I'm proud to be as 🇮🇩food being accepted well by local , so we when there , as mix couple my foodie husband choose Beef Strog then Chucks said it would be as more Stroganoff then it's come so delicious with creamy , good pasta & right size , while We were so happy meeting Tee Jay with his 🇮🇩smiles & hospitality , yeah we got hot jasmine green Tea so good & welcome , we got kerupuk & rambak tapioca & caw skin crackers in right texture , my order was souted eggplant mix veges with beef Cooked by Tee Jay come with steamed rice just right the bumbu (spices) its well mixed so happy & end with fresh sweet ripe mango with sticky rice in coconut cream garnish black sesame on top owww soo good , No wonder they been review so week , The guests keep coming all treating like their friends they cook so well with hearts in open kitchen , their dedication is great in humble ways we so happy to sit, eat & enjoy their service & we repeat & next day with same delicacy & delicious taste of seafood & mixed veges , chili's omelette , martabak & coffe , success with you both we definitely will be back to Carson for your food , Bravo

An epic cultural mash-up inside a casino. Tee Jay’s is the delicious and hospitable jelly-filled center of the Cactus Jacks donut. Classic American comforts meet Indonesian flavors - an unlikely match made glorious. Having spent a few months in Indonesia, I fell in love with the people and food, and have delighted whenever finding one of the only 50 or so Indonesian restaurants in America. Tee Jay’s does not disappoint. I can’t wait to return and sample through the menu. For hot sauce lovers don’t miss their house-made version. Oh, and the malty rich sweet & sour sauce over gyoza is a must! Thanks for putting your talents and authenticity into the world.

This little place is amazing. Went there last night with my wife and ordered ginger nood and was amazed how good it was. The lumpia was fantastic. The service was amazing and they were so friendly. He explained the menu and background of the restaurant. If these guys had a bigger restaurant their business would be so busy. Great job tee Jay and staff. We will be back again and again. Great food and great owners. We’ve been looking for an Indonesian restaurant and found TJ’s. He made wonderful nasi goreng and fried chicken. I have a nut allergy that he was very accommodating for. Highly recommend. Owners took time to make us feel very welcomed.

We decided to finally try Tee Jay's since we've heard good things. We ordered online through their website for delivery. Uber is the one who delivers their food. We waited 20 minutes past the delivery time, still no food, so we called the restaurant. We called the restaurant, they let us know that the uber driver assigned still hasn't picked up the food, they apologized, & said they even tried calling the third party website that they use to manage their online ordering. My husband picked up the food which was still warm thankfully, it was super good, and they said to contact the website they should give us a refund. I contacted the third party website & they said since my husband is on his way they can just refund the delivery fee. Lame! Long story short, 4 days later, I just received an email saying they restaurant refunded my whole order!! Thank you Tee Jay's for your awesome customer service, we will continue to eat here :)

Some of the best stir fried beef around. The Drunken Noods have a pleasant spiciness that slowly builds.

Delicious food. They have good vegetarian options. The sauce that Tee Jay makes is so good! Ginger noods and nasi goreng was the bomb! We will definitely come back. Excellent service and reasonable price.

In love with this place! Our group was tired and looking for good food after a long drive from SF and a day of skiing. This place did not disappoint to say the least. The food was phenomenal and we will definitely be back! 🥹🫶

Holy smokes! Amazing! Great food served by super friendly people from a lunch counter tucked in the back of a kinda seedy casino. The Indonesian food was super tasty and the American options were far from an afterthought to appease picky eaters. Such a great experience. Drive out of the way for this place!

Tee Jay’s is an absolute must try while in Carson City!
First off, we called in to see if we had to make a reservation beforehand, we did not but the guy we spoke to said he would be expecting us, and to our surprise when we arrived about 15 minutes later, he had set up 5 spots at the counter for us with silverware, napkins, ice water and our menu’s. He thoroughly explained the menu to our group of 5 as well as their personal recommendations, and they did so in a way that you can tell they value the food they serve as well as the customer.
I am gluten free and typically when i try new restaurants i am pretty worried about trying to find a bunch of alternatives that i can eat, but to my surprise a majority of their most ordered dishes were listed as gluten free on the large menu!
I ordered the Chow Noods (I believe it was called) and I don’t want to eat anywhere else besides Tee Jay’s for our entire trip this week lol
