The Common's Lunch

Even though they claimed they were understaffed during lunch, the waitress made sure everyone was taken care of and happy. Food came out fast and was excellent. 👌

We've been at this restaurant 3 times. Food is very good. Service is fantastic. There is no credit card or atm card accepted as a way of payment but there is an ATM machine inside. Bank Of America is next to the restaurant. I love the idea of selling accessories and art crafted in the restaurant. My kids loved it

This is the right place at the right location, serving the right food by the right people! The ride to get here and go back home is very nice! Nothing more to say but enjoy it when you can!

Haven't been in 3 years. Same wonderful place. Candice is a great person and waitress. ❤❤

My husband and I have never been disappointed in the service or food at the Commons. I had the meatloaf and my husband had the liver and onions. It is his favorite dish here. I felt that today's dinner was better than I remember. Everything from the meatloaf to mashed potatoes and the gravy definitely tasted homemade. I envied the lobster salad the woman at the table next to us had. We remarked how fabulous it looked and she answered that it was absolutely delicious. On our list for next time. Oh and breakfast is always just as good and served all day. If you have room for dessert, their homemade desserts are a must have as well.

Was there for breakfast the place was very busy, the waitress came over very quickly.

The food was so great !!! They cook it how you like/want it (WELL DONE)!!!! Lol. Highly recommended. Great staff and prises ! ........ I love this place ❤ and the people who work here are just so lovely and helpful! I can never complain about anything here. Food is always hot and it's a great quiet setting for anyone and any age 😉

Great food, great service! Chowder excellent! Indoor, outdoor and take out available during these Covid times! Quaint small town charm. Came recommended to us by a local business. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back on our next visit.

I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and brown gravy with mushrooms and spinach - all for $8.99!!!! It was fantastic! The service is always great - especially Pat B - she is our favorite - SO funny!!!

My kids and I love the Commons! It’s a great family business that’s part of the fabric of Little Compton. They serve delicious homemade food, as well as a variety of local seafood, at reasonable prices. The waitresses and staff are very friendly and accommodating. What can I say? This place has been here for years and it's always been a treat. My favorite is a hero roll brushed with garlic butter with tuna, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Delicious.

Can't beat the Johnny Cake Special! AND I love their coffee! Have many other relatives now that love it as well!

Every trip to Little Compton has to include a visit to The Common's. The Johnny cakes are a favorite in the morning, and the scallop roll is a must have in the afternoon. I should really try more things on the menu, but it's a good rut to be in.

Great food, plenty-to-eat portions. It's like going back in time to the village restaurant on the town Commons of old New England towns. You can't beat the ambiance.
