Auld Holland Inn

We stayed here Thanksgiving weekend. Let me start by saying I like eclectic. The hotel is older, well taken care of, clean and comfortable. Charming. Unique features like our room had a fireplace. The price was very reasonable. We had a change of plans due to circumstances and couldn't stay for the time we reserved, the owner was so kind and worked with us. We so appreciated it. We would stay here again.

Rooms are a good value and priced appropriately for condition and amenities. Factor in the amazing service, friendly staff and their genuine hospitality and you’ll find this is the place to stay.

For a 2-star hotel, I'll give it 5 stars on value. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plenty and the seating area was clean. While the exterior was well maintained with plenty of parking, the interior could use some improvements. Overall, I would recommend staying here since the location is pretty good too.

Wonderful place. Breakfast was continental but a solid start to the day. We enjoyed the campiness of the windmill. Clean bathroom and bed. Service was very good.

The lady at the counter was really nice. Had a bit of a problem with our reservation on Saturday and she did the upmost possible to help. This was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Would highly recommend.

The rooms are very clean with coffee in the room free wifi and a very decent continental breakfast. There just a little old but not in any way bad this is after all a timeless part of oak harbor. Very happy to see the old place looking better than ever!!!!

For a 2 star hotel, this hits every note! We arrived late, and the instructions for check-in at that hour were clearly posted on the door- it was pretty painless and the gentleman greeting me was very pleasant despite the late hour.
The hotel is super quaint and kitschy, honestly love the vibe!!! I wish I had a reason to go back to Oak Harbor because for the price the hotel was really wonderful!
Cute themed decor, nice bathtub, convenient parking, and they had lots of options in the morning for a quick snack/breakfast. Everyone onsite was super friendly! Very glad we decided to drive up and stay for the night on our way to Victoria, or I would have missed out on experiencing this gem.

This place is absolutely adorable! It was very quiet, even with a lot of guests on site. It's definitely a cool place to stay. There's Kurig pot in the room, microwave, and mini fridge. Continental breakfast is boxed cereal, bagels, and granola bars. There's also hot chocolate and coffee in the check-in area.

The place was cute with lightings in the night. The rooms are very clean. The receptionist was very courteous and helped us through the late night checkin process. She also gave us info for the city attractions. The complimentary breakfast was also pretty good and fresh. Had a good experience and left with a smile 😊

I had a last minute trip and they were able to fit me in. Very friendly people and the atmosphere was cozy. I loved the antiques and history of the building. We will be staying there on our next visit.

My boyfriend and i come here alot to get away from life for a night or 2. The room is always spotless with great and friendly employees. I always get the windmill suite, its so nice and relaxing able to take a nice bubble bath while watching tv. Love the balcony, nice place to just sit and relax with my boyfriend.

I can’t leave a review for the hotel rooms as I stayed in 1 of 4 “cabins”. My cabin was clean and actually smelled slightly of bleach which is not a bad thing. Staff friendly and helpful and even though housekeeping missed me a simple knock in laundry room door and I was given everything I needed. For the price really can’t complain. I do recommend the cabins if 1 or 2 people. Secluded, quiet and pretty nice.

The Auld Holland Inn was amazing! What a super cute idea. A Dutch themed motel. It had such character. And kind people! My room was on the second floor. No elevator. The mini fridge and the microwave looked like they were from the 70s but they still worked fine. My room had a Keurig though for coffee. The room also had a gas fireplace which I didn't use because it was quite warm while I was there. The window behind the shutters that you crank the handle to open doesn't have a screen so beware if you have kids. They are offering a little bit of breakfast but not the full thing because it is Kaiser. There is an indoor area to sit in and eat your continental breakfast. The shower had great water pressure, the toiletries were good quality. Comfortable bed, clean room and nice TV with cable. Oh, and book your room directly from a Auld Inn. The various offers from other travel sites were not quite as deep as this one.

Unique decor with a hint of Holland everywhere. Our room even had folding shutters over the windows instead of curtains, with wooden tulips in a flower box outside window. Breakfast provided. Pleasant staff.

Wasn't busy ! Staff was very polite and courteous ! Room was clean a little out dated but very much a great choice! We chose a spa room and the spa was amazing after driving all day ! Plus same parking lot there's a little restaurant/bar with a short walk from hotel ! Oh and I forgot that there's also little cabins for rent also .

Host/Front Desk staff were beyond pleasant, helpful, courteous and patient. Location is extremely easy to access, being close to main thru road that did not afford any uncomfortable road noise. Room was just what we needed, smaller, clean and simple. Bathroom was updated, and location is within minutes of anything needed. After having left personal items in the room, staff contacted me within a few hours, and were very accommodating, promptly shipping items back to me. I absolutely recommend the Auld Holland Inn for any stay. Thank you very much!

I had such a wonderful stay! The room was so adorable! It was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable! I have to mention the awesome toiletries too! High quality for a great price. The staff in the office were extremely friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely amazing. Felt right at home in the splendid room, which was rather large and very comfortable. Staff was kind and did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. They had a small breakfast that went till 11:30 and an exercise room that, although small, was perfect to go relax. Plus the sauna was a wonderful surprise!

Charming, friendly, affordable, and cozy. We stayed in a tiny cabin in the back and it was just perfect! (We are quite petite so some folks may find it a little squishy.) Much more fun and personable than your standard chain hotel stay.
