My Husband and I loved this restaurant and can't wait to go back. Very clean, romantic and unique setting. The service was very accommodating and the food was wonderful. Reservations are suggested

My date had a dozen raw oysters and I had the filet and shrimp. These entrées were delicious as expected, but the desserts were stellar. Hers was tiramisu, mine was a bread pudding with a sumptuous caramel sauce...to die for.

Came here for dinner. I had the dry aged steak(I believe it was 48 days) cooked rare. It tasted amazing. The sauce they used on it was very well made, although, I might have liked to see a little less on the plate, but still, and amazing steak. It came with tomatoes, asparagus, and potatoes. Those were all made well, dusted with salt. The wine was great. If you don't mind a slightly more expensive evening, definitely worth sitting down and enjoying the quiet atmosphere. Service was good, relaxed, not overly in your face.

Went to the Tulip festival, then decided to get some lunch and I'm glad I came across this biblical treasure. The food here is absolutely amazing (so, good it's sinful) from the courses to the desert, they cannot do no wrong. In addition, the waiter who is also a phenomenal bartender, knows how to make unique drinks well mixed cocktails just by saying the type of alcohol you want. Definitely coming back soon.

We went here to celebrate our first anniversary and Oh My Goodness this place is chef kisses.

I made a reservation on Wednesday for Saturday night. We got there 30 mins early and they were able to accommodate us. I love the atmosphere very intimate and just welcoming. Our server was also super friendly and welcoming.

My husband ordered the Skagit Beet Salad and the Smoked duck gnocchi and I got the pan seared oyster and seared sea scallops. We also got their homemade bread. The portion is just right in my opinion to others it might be small and yes the price is not cheap but for the quality and taste of the food I think it’s well worth it. They’re supporting local farms and local businesses and that’s important to us.

We do plan on coming here in the future. Thank you guys for the wonderful meal for our anniversary.

The oyster and thistle restaurant is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing evening enjoying incredible food. This evening I had a perfectly prepared black and blue filet mignon and my partner had seafood paella as well as oysters done in a Rockefeller style. All the food was amazing and the service was impeccable. Our server this evening was Kyle and I hope next time I go we get him again.

This place is amazing!!!! The moment I sat down and saw no salt & pepper on the table I knew I was in for an incredible palate satisfaction. Food was perfection. Every single item that we ordered from the menu was delivered in a beautiful presentation and was absolutely delicious. Our server took the time to answer all of our menu questions and described everything with such passion and knowledge that I felt like I was one of the judges at a Food Network show. Just WOW. Romantic setting in the late evening. Huge wine selection. Outstanding service. Food did take a while to come out but it was worth the wait. Visit, you won't regret it.

Wow oh wow, what a fabulous meal! My friend had the paella and I had the duck confit - both were unforgettable. We barely spoke because the food was so good. The cherry demi glacé on the duck is HEAVEN. The fried oysters were tasty and fresh. However, the desserts (crème brûlée, bread pudding, and cognac) were the perfect end to this special meal.

Aside from great food, the ambience is cozy and fun. Also, our server was great. He was personable, helped answer questions, and gave great recommendations.

Fantastic! High end place, small and beautiful. The staff and food are amazing! Highly recommend. Pricing is about $50-$100 per person, depending on plate and drinks. (Review from 1-16-2022) reserving a table costs $50, but will be applied to you bill, as long as you actually show up.

Oyster & Thistle is one of my favorite places to eat in La Conner. You can choose either the elegant upstairs restaurant or the cozy downstairs pub, with dark wood finishes and some fun little nooks & crannies. The menu offers some wonderful choices... I've never had a bad meal here. Favorites include the baked or fried oyster appetizers, the Northwest Seafood Stew, the French Onion Soup, and if you're really hungry the rich and delicious Pan-Fried Oyster Fettucini. You can't go wrong here!

Upscale but cozy serving amazing fresh food. My husband got the scallops which were perfectly cooked and absolutely huge! I has the poached salmon which was incredible, the risotto was actually my favorite part. The portions are large so you won't leave hungry. Such care and attention put into ever dish.

A great treasure to be found by all while traveling in or near LaConnnor. A fine dining experience that should be shared by all. The service was good, the prices were reasonable and the food was absolutely excellent! They have a rotating menu based off of the days fresh ingredients available, so try not to get hooked on a particular dish. I had the gnocchi and the amaretto prawns appetizers, a caesar salad, and the days special, a slow roasted pork shank served over a Tasso ham risotto. I honestly can't even begin to explain how good each dish was. My mouth is watering now and my stomach is rumbling just thinking about that meal. Just when I thought they had outdone themselves, I order the chocolate lava cake with homemade vanilla bean ice cream to cap the evening off. I almost blacked out from euphoria! Definitely a great restaurant that should not be passed up! I should say, I was so eager to dig in I forgot to get good pics of the apps as they were delivered and the caesar altogether. I did throw in a pic of the paella someone else in the party ordered, holy cow that was amazing as well!

Dinner was fantastic! Between us, we ordered beet salad, French onion soup, scallops, paella, and ragu. First time here at The Oyster & Thistle in LaConnor. Loved it!

We’ve been here twice now and the food and service have been great. This time I had filet mignon and scallop stuffed prawn which were fantastic. My wife had prune puttanesca which she also said was excellent. Good bar service as well. Very nice ambience. My wife and I are making this our special occasion go to restaurant

Excellent service, exquisite food and warm atmosphere. The music in the background was perfect for the setting. First time here for our anniversary but certainly not our last.

Excellent food quality and fine service. A little pricey but we'd go back. The shrimp and scallops yellow curry is just right for balance of sweet and curry flavors. The mushroom and scallops risotto was subtle with just the right textures.

Really damn good surprise. We are visiting La Connor for the first time and wandered into The Oyster & Thistle on a Monday evening. We sat in a tucked away alcove with warm wood paneling and old stained glass windows. The server, who was handing the whole place on his own, was delightful, attentive and fastidious. The food is delicious. The oysters were the best presentation of oysters I have ever tried. We had pasta putenesca, a sauce that was delicious and perfectly prepared with house made pasta and generous shrimp.

Wonderful restaurant! Impeccable service and delectable flavors. Highly recommend.

With such a busy life that we lead and to find such a treasure at the last minute to enjoy this cherished day is.... No words to describe of how blessed, romantic, peaceful and relaxing it is to spend a time with someone you love!!

What a fantastic take on classic French cuisine set against the backdrop of Pacific Northwest seafood and Skagit Valley produce and meats. My wife and I love to stay in the La Conner Country Inn and walk over to the Oyster and Thistle after a day around the village. Very highly recommended.
