My husband met the owner through his work. We went a few weeks ago for our anniversary, what an amazing delicious place, the staff was so friendly and nice. I have a couple of rare food allergies, and they were very conscious of it and asked question and informed me of any food they were unsure of that might affect my allergy. This is hands down one of the best places I have eaten at. I had the peppercorn crusted NY strip, so tender and flavorful, I can not wait until the next dare night dinner to be there. 😍🙏

If I could dream up the perfect destination restaurant, it'd be this place. All of my favorite special occasion food in one menu. Warm, elegant, unpretentious atmosphere. Priceless views of La Connor channel. Gracious, intuitive service.

The Penn Cove mussels, raw & fried oysters, beet orange arugula salad, bouillabaisse w/rouille, duck breast in demi-glace w/luscious tagliatelle, Dungeness crab spaghetti, crème brûlée, Valhrona chocolate mousse... Amazing!

Everything was 5/5 - the food was so tasty, we had fried oysters, caesar salad, dungeness crab pasta, and the bouillabaisse. The entrees were SO good we want to go back already. Service was very friendly and efficient. Ample parking in the parking lot out front and on the street. We will be back!

We loved this place! Our server was exceptional, the atmosphere and ambience were completely charming and the food was absolutely perfect! This is a farm to table restaurant, and the pride in serving what the local farmers grow with love is evident in the way they have curated their dishes. We split an amazing Caesar Salad, with one of the best in house made dressings I have had, and lots of well-aged parmesan. We got the Nell's Bread, and 'wow'!!, it was incredible, the perfect soft, doughy inside and chewy outer crust. For our entree we chose the seasonal vegetable pasta, with in house made pasta (melts in your mouth!!), loads of fresh, in season veggies and a luscious pesto lemon cream sauce that we were blown away by- so darn good!!!!! We finished our meal with a classic Creme Brule with a candied orange peel topping. It was creamy, light and bursting with vanilla and orange flavors. We just loved it all. They have a great wine selection and quality cocktails as well. We sat by the windows, watched the glorious sunset and admired the yachts at the dock. A perfect meal, at the perfect place with the perfect server. Just go, and thank me later.

What a lovely restaurant with friendly people who work there. We had so much food and drinks. Everything was so delicious. Calamari was fresh, and the fried lemon peices were edible and refreshing. They divided the beets salad with arugula into two servings and it was one of the best. The oysters weren't very impressive. If you have a high standard, I would skip the oysters as it is not the season yet. The duck confit was yummy and bouillabaisse had a great flavor. The vegan, gluten-free dessert (ice cream but can't remember what it was called) tasted healthy and as close to the nature while providing a joy of consuming cold dessert. The cocktails were awesome and tasty. I highly recommend this place and I can't wait to go back.

Best meal we’ve had in town. Phenomenal! Everything was delicious and the servers were all attentive and thoughtful. Don’t skip the pasta—they make it in house. The mussels were sublime in a silky, creamy sauce.

Great food with rotating selections. It's a great spot if your gonna impress. The food is all locally sourced and the plates we got were great. The staff was attentive made suggestions on things to try. Everything we had was good. If your looking for a good place with good food and a view this place is great and at night you can watch the lit rainbow bridge at a distance.

Delightful experience overall. My only regret is I couldn't finish everything. You will see when you look over at what everyone else is ordering and want that, too! Today I went for brunch and returned home not wanting to eat anything else happily.

All the dishes were perfectly seasoned and well timed. The staff were fantastic and attentive. The view was pretty lovely, too. This is great spot to go enjoy nice afternoon or evening out, you will not be disappointed by anything you order.

Food was incredible, you can taste the freshness of the ingredients as if they were just picked. Cocktails were more creative than I was anticipating. And the view was spectacular as well. I loved they had covered outdoor dining and you could watch the boats go by. I was expecting this restaurant to be good and it was even better than I imagined. Can't wait to come back!

Food was extremely flavorful. Service was stellar. We sat on the patio enjoying being near the water so hard to beat that atmosphere. Really great experience all the way around.

And get the truffle fries. Holy wow!

My girlfriend and I had an unforgettable dining experience at this amazing restaurant, starting with perfectly cooked calamari and salmon chowder, followed by a delightful warm beet and pear salad. The desserts, creme brulee and sticky caramel pudding, were sinfully delicious. What truly set this experience apart was the AMAZING service—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. We will definitely be back for more of this culinary excellence and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special dining experience.

My hanger steak was the perfect portion, tender and perfectly cooked, with a rich bordelaise sauce and crunchy mille-fuilles piped potatoes.

Great house salad as well - well dressed and the side olives set it off really well.

Intimately lighted bistro with a well planned, Italian-leaning menu that has excellent seafood and steak options. The bar is well stocked. Service is friendly, attentive, and informed. Well situated in the center of La Conner with off-street parking. In the summer ask for a table with a view of the river!

A fabulous surprise in touristy La Conner Washington. A fine dining experience one would think to expect in downtown Seattle or San Francisco.. A nicely appointed restaurant on the water. Four of us dined here late in the evening but the ambiance was great. Our server was exceptional. Knowledgable about ingredients and portions with great recommendations for the evening meals. Attentive without being overbearing. Apparently the menu changes frequently so visits back are a must. My companions all had different selections and all agreed their meals were top notch. No complaints and as we rolled out we vowed to make this a regular place to visit. Organic and gluten free selections are available.

We dropped in for brunch on Saturday with no reservation, but had just a brief wait for a table.
Service was top-notch, and the food was great. We had the mushroom soup to start, then Chicken Salad (strips of white meat perfectly grilled, juicy and delicious, on a nicely dressed bed of greens) and Cod and Chips (two good filets of crispy cod with a huge bucket of hand-cut fries).

For those that know me, I judge every restaurant I go to by their fish and chips. Even high end restaurants like Nell Thorn shall be no different!

I started off with the Halibut and got a side of the truffle fries. The halibut had a nice sear on one side and was cooked perfectly. The fish by itself was delicious with a great presentation. The truffle fries (cooked in truffle oil) were great and the sauce they brought with it paired beautifully.

The other dish we got was a fantastic morel pasta dish. Need I say more? Well worth it. For dessert we had the cheesecake. It came with a generous amount of whipped cream on top and had a very professional presentation. Staff was friendly and service was prompt. If you have never been, it’s well worth your stop if you are looking for a fancy meal.

Also of note, they don’t have a kids menu but will create something for you such as buttered noodles paired with grilled chicken or other options. My 8 year old loved it and ate the leftovers the next day.

The staff was so nice and the food was amazing. They make their own pasta and they pair it well with the sauces. The bartender shakes drinks perfectly, not watery, not super sharp. This is the best meal I've had in at least a year.
