La Conner Waterfront Café

Maybe it’s because I was kinda deliriously hungry, but this place was really really delicious. All the food was great, bottomless drinks were lovely, the waitress was nice, all around a great lunch!!

We enjoyed a nice lunch on the patio. The fish and chips, shrimp, and clam chowder were delicious. The service was great. The patio had a nice view of the boardwalk and the river. Was a nice stop on our way down to Seattle.

What a PLEASANT experience! We had friends visiting from Kansas and decided to have lunch in La Connor. We had our (very, very well behaved) dog with us and came to the Waterfront Cafe, asking "May we eat outside with our dog?" The deck was empty but it was warm enough. The super-friendly hostess said "absolutely! sit anywhere you'd like and I'll be right out". She came out, brought a bowl of water for our dog and a dog bone for her, then served us one of the best lunches I've had in years. Fish and Chips...simple meal...but PERFECTLY done. The hostess was super friendly, super attentive (but not in your face...she let us visit with out friends but came when we needed her)...truly 5 star service. We will be back to this wonderful Cafe.

We stopped by here for lunch after visited the tulips field. We ordered the Captain Plate, clam chowder, seafood chowder abs strawberry lemonade. The food was amazing. Great and fast service. The waterfront views were great!! Highly recommend this restaurant!

We went there during tulip festival weekend plus nice warm weather. They are overwhelmed for many peoples from the festival. It took 45 minutes for our order. My server is honest and friendly. She warned us it's going to be a long wait for food. She came often checking on us and update cooking status.
Their food is tasty and perfect size.
We ordered "captain's plate" which is fried fish, shrimps and fish sandwich.
We waited for food 45 minutes but looked at outside the water made us forgetting time.
I would love to visit there another time. I assume very beautiful summer time there.

Charming spot with super friendly service and great food. Seafood chowder was creamy (but not pasty) and flavorful. Fish and chips special (cod, salmon, halibut) was great...crispy, not too much battery, moist.

The most fresh fried fish around. Perfect breading on the halibut and the cod. The shrimp were the best ive ever had. Make sure to try the shrimp!
Service was quick and courteous.
Will be coming back here soon!

Water front patio, friendly knowledgeable staff, great food. Nice view ..
Bike friendly as you can have you bikes on the board walk.
Ask to sit in the BRIG :).

Fish and chips were excellent.

I got the pleasure of meeting the kitchen staff while working on a machine in their kitchen. everyone was friendly. the kitchen and dining area were very clean. They offered me lunch, I asked for the fjsh and chips. they are the best I've ever had. I will be coming back for sure! not for work, but with my whole family! thank you chef!

Best fish and chips I've had in a very long time if ever, the coleslaw was hands down The Best Coleslaw I've ever had. It's also nicely placed on the La Conner Waterfront. Very friendly service.

Very helpful staff. I had clear day and great orange sunset.. it's a nice place to wind. I had seafood chowder soup and fish and fries. Seafood chowder is one among the best I had in PNW. Must try. It's sad these places are less visited. I will go back here again for seafood chowder

Another gorgeous fall day spent enjoying good food on the waterfront! I had the crab roll - highly recommend this, as it was delicious. Hubby had the fish and chips that he finished with a contented smile.

Great view, amaizing food. We had the "captain's plate" and it all tasted so good. Also tried their clam chowder soup and it was rich and creamy , very tasty. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our server gave us tips on must see and visits in this quaint town. Enjoyed exploring La Conner town.

Downtown of La conner near the water this was a really cute cafe. This cafe is located in the middle of that street and has a nice water view. Food was also not too salty. It was tasteful. The server was very nice and friendly. This place was very crowded, but servers were quick and attentive to each table. Food portions were just right. I would return this place again.

What a wonderful place. Great food, wonderful unique shops. Super friendly people. Beautiful views. Waterfront walk. What a prize place to visit. Highly recommended.

La Conner Waterfront Café has the best fish and chips ever!
We love the riverfront cafe! We stopped by most recently on a Sunday at 4:15pm. They closed at 4pm and we were really disappointed to find that they were supposed to close at 4pm.

However, when we walked in they offered to make us fish and chips even though they were closed! We were able to find a great table on the patio overlooking the river. We ordered 2 fish and chips and 2 iced teas and the food as always did not disappoint!

The fish is breaded in a panko crust that gives it the perfect crunch! Not overly greasy! The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. and the tarter sauce is to die for! (I believe its handmade).

As we left our waitress offered to give us a refill ice tea to go! We took her up on it and enjoyed as we strolled and shopped the town!

Highly recommend La Conner Waterfront Café, the food is great and service is even better!

I loved this place so much. Right on the waterfront with a warm vibe. The two woman working the place were very nice.

What a great thing that Marla and Guy do every year! No payment for food, donations gladly accepted and they pick a charity! Awesome place!
