Went there for breakfast and were very satisfied that we decided to return for dinner. Dinner had no shoertcomings. Started with an appetizer, then our dinner, and finally, our desert, everything was delicious. The bonus to our dinner was the band playing awesome classic music. The service also deserves to be mentioned...they were awesome too!!

Awesome spot for brunch. Amazing food with Mexican flare. Savory and creative breakfast options. Big portions, enough to share. I wish we could try everything on their diverse menu, because the few things we’ve tried so far were delicious.

Wonderful experience here for dinner. We were a party 🎈 of 4. Exceptional service and staff. I think our waitress was Emma, she did a remarkable job, deserves praise.
Prime Rib was huge and great tasting. The Wagyu meatloaf was excellent.
My brother pretty much eats here regularly and loves the staff..

Everything was so good, the food, the live music, the cocktails... the service was great. I can't wait to back to this lovely place... ans Leucadia is really charming to visit. Have a walk, check all the littles shops and coffee places... that day I was rollerskating down to Swami's beach and it was the perfect stop.

We recently had lunch here.
The place is huge, with multiple seating options. Indoors outdoors, in the back, in the front, seats with cushions and pillows.

The food was really good. We asked the staff on recommends and they suggest taco and mussels. So we tried both and both were amazing.

We loved the vibe of the place and the staff were sweet. The service was quick. I highly recommend the mussels, it was so simple and yummy!

Great spot for live music. Great drinks, great food, great night out! Would go again, would bring friends, would recommend to anyone wanting a spectacular night out.

This was my 3rd visit to the restaurant. We had a reservation at 730 pm and showed up at 530 pm hoping we could be seated early. The restaurant was packed but they accommodated us which was great! I enjoyed the previous visits but our dinner last night was memorable thanks to our fabulous waitress Emma. She was friendly, had great energy and was knowledgeable of the menu. She recommended the scallops which were cooked to perfection. Hubby had the prime rib and devoured it in minutes. He was also a big fan of the ribs and I enjoyed the mussels. The drinks were delicious as well. I will make it a point to come back more often thanks to the wonderful Ms. Emma and amazing food.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare but the food, atmosphere, and service were excellent. The food was fresh and the portions were perfect. They allowed us top bring our own cake since we were celebrating a birthday. The service was spectacular, especially given that we had 13 people in our party.

Had a great experience here. Service was awesome and the food was very tasty. They have a good selection of beer with some local options of draft. To start my hubby and I had the chicken wings. The sauce was a Frank’s hot sauce and it was not too spicy. And the wings were huge with quite a bit of meat. Then we shared the rueben. It was one of the best. Lots of meat, and the sauerkraut was very tender, although it could use more. So good!! Highly recommend this place.

Have been here a couple of times and boy it never disappoints! Had the bison burger on this occasion cooked medium rare with sweet potato fries. They were kind enough to put it on a bed of lettuce. Didn’t ruin the flavor or experience at all. Burger was cooked to perfection and was juicy. The cheese crisp they put on there with the blu cheese gave it that extra something. Definitely recommend it!

Stopped by for a brunchy beverage and stayed for lunch! Seating options are plentiful and I really liked the front outdoor seating with the many heat lamps and umbrellas. Pet friendly. Staff were friendly and provided helpful suggestions regarding the menu and service was prompt. We enjoyed the chorizo tacos and the Papagayo salad. Will definitely be back!

Had a fantastic breakfast here. The place was super fun and love that it was open to the outside. The food was delicious and priced very well. I definitely would recommend and go back. I took pics but apologize I started eating before I remembered to take them lol.

My husband and I went here for a weekday dinner date for our 20th anniversary. This is a great mix between a beachy bar and grill and an upscale restaurant. It was a Wednesday night, but there was a live performer who was really good. It does seem to have a lot of locals which was super fun, but there were also some visitors from out of town.

We ordered the garlic Chardonnay mussels, which were outstanding and came with a yummy crusty bread. My husband really enjoyed his seared Ahi. I got the Chilean sea bass, which was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. It was served with coconut rice and these little deep fried pieces, not even sure what they were, but added the perfect crunch to the dish.

Oh and the drinks were very delicious. I had the Watermelon Sugar and hubs asked for a paper airplane which they knew how to make and was very tasty. Plus how can you not love the Encinitas coast?

We will be back again!

I am so grateful for her suggestion!! Everything was perfect. We received generous portions of very tastefully seasoned food after a pleasant conversation with our waiter.

Across…the board…WIN! This place is amazing!

While I feel like I’m pretty good at eating, I know that I’m absolutely terrible at cooking. For me a successful adventure in the kitchen is preparing microwave popcorn. I’m being serious. Guests have visited and asked me where various kitchen instruments should be replaced at the end of the evening and I’ve typically had two questions. “Wait, I own that? What does it do?” 🤷‍♂

Given that background, I can only assume that our orders of “Braised Short Rib” and “Seared Blackened Ahi” are diverse enough to require separate and serious skills in the kitchen. How they managed to make them both tremendous is beyond me.

Also outstanding was the “Lobster Bisque.” Excellent flavors coupled with a generous serving portion and several quite sizable chunks of lobster. Although the “Prager Bros. Artisan Bread Basket” is not complimentary, it paired in an outstanding manner with the bisque and includes refills.

Live music is a daily observance here and we’ve included a pic of this month’s performers.

Approximately 50% of their seating is outdoors, but if you choose to sit indoors you should be aware that the acoustics can be a challenge and the sound can really reverberate and make conversations a challenge.

Be aware that parking can be hard to obtain.

Our only regret is that we didn’t leave room for dessert, as we were eyeballing several attractive options.

Apparently they also serve breakfast, so clearly a return visit is in order!

delicious food and drinks, great service in a nice location. Would recommend this. Meals were between $17 - $25, cocktails around $17, kids menu at $12. So reasonable prices and good food.

HANDS DOWN, THE BEST breakfast place in the area! Portion sizes are excellent! You'll definitely need a to-go box. The prices are a little high but the quality of your breakfast definitely matches the price. Staff is super friendly and service was fast. We got the green Chile chilaquiles and scrambled eggs, the Papagayo skillet (3 sunny side eggs, avocado sauce, sausage ham and bacon with roasted potatoes) and the classic pancake stack with eggs and bacon.

Best sangria ever! Loads of fresh fruit. And then I visited their new Carlsbad location and found out that the carafe is half priced on Sundays. See you Sunday! Always nice for happy hour and music.

My wife and I arrived close to 4 pm. We were told they are only serving food off the happy hour menu. This was okay, yet a bit disappointing.

We sat outside near the curb, and they turned on the heaters for warmth.

I ordered the chicken wings and a coffee, and my wife a salad. We also split an order of onion rings.

The service was good, except for the waitperson did not come back to the table once our food was delivered. This was a bit annoying as my wife wanted additional dressing for her salad. A good server knows to revisit a table 1-2 minutes after serving to check on things. Otherwise, the server was polite and friendly.
